Master the game: Dev reveals all tricks and secrets.
By Nau
I am creating this guide in English, so that everyone can understand it, where I will reveal the tricks and secrets of all the game mechanics. Many of them are designed to be discovered naturally, but I understand that you can always miss some of them. So I recommend that you only read this guide when you feel that an object or mechanic of the game does not make sense to you.

Master the ingredients: Sauces
There are two types of sauces in the game:
- Simple: Ketchup, Mayo and mustard.
- Mixed: Obtained by mixing the simple sauces.
- Complex: Honey, Bbq, Pine cone, Fines herbs...

Simple sauces are straightforward; they function like any other ingredient. If someone requests one, you serve it, and they pay for it accordingly. You can mix these three sauces to create a new one. Missing or adding extra simple sauces will not be accepted as a correct one.

Complex sauces you have to learn how they work. Every animal has a favorite sauce. A clear example is the bear, which likes honey. You must find out which one suits each animal by trial and error. If you do it correctly they will tell you that you got the sauce right in their review and pay you a nice bonus. These sauces pay slightly better than the simple ones, but you cannot mix them with any others. Once you add a sauce, you cannot add another.

It is important to keep in mind that you can only add one sauce per burger, so if someone asks for Ketchup-Mustard, or no sauce, you will have to respect that decision instead of adding the secret sauce.
Master the ingredients: Toothpicks
Toothpicks are a very useful mechanic, but not necessary in all cases.

Order reviews in this game are based on a star system. These stars not only mark your score on the leaderboard, but they also act as a multiplier for the money you earn. So it is in your interest to always keep a high score.

When you commit an infraction, like dropping something on the floor, burning your frying pan, forgetting an ingredient... The customer will reduce your review by one star.

This is where the toothpicks come in. If you add a toothpick with the customer's face on it, they will give you 1 extra star to make up for any mistakes you made.

- If you didn't make any mistakes or didn't put the right toothpick, it won't influence anything.
- If you are in Frenetic mode, where the time also drops stars, the toothpicks will not be able to recover this star, because it is not a cooking error.
- Some special customers may ignore the toothpick, as the Critic, who pays a lot of attention to how you cook, or the Rider, that the hamburger is not for him.
- Be careful with the more serious mistakes, some of them will cost you more than one star, and you won't be able to recover them all. (Such as missing or raw meat, burnt ingredients, or ones the customer specifically asked to leave out.)

Toothpicks have been nerfed making harder to find the right one. Every time you pick one, it will be random. So if you haven't made any mistakes, you don't need to add any, it will just waste your time.
Master the tools: Trash bin
Garbage is a very underrated mechanic.

One of the most common bugs that will cause you to lose stars is food falling on the ground. If you serve an ingredient from the floor customers will complain, but if you put the ingredient away they will complain too, pointing out that the kitchen is very dirty.

The latter is where you need the garbage. If any ingredient, dish, pan, pan or sauce jar falls over, the best thing to do is to throw it away as soon as possible. Don't cut that onion that's rolled on the floor, just throw it away. That will make the customer ignore the complaint that your kitchen is dirty.

Even the bell can be a problem if it falls off! Throw it in the trash so the customer sees how clean you are. When he leaves you can make restock in the backdoor.

The restock system also keeps people from complaining about dirty cooking, as you have cleaned the whole kitchen, but that could make them complain about leaving them unattended for a while, as well as restarting your burger.
Master the failures: Stale food
One of the most common cooking failures is the lack of freshness in the ingredients. Sometimes this is not understood, so I will explain in detail how it works:
1 - When a new client spawns, it detects all the ingredients cut, like bread or tomato, or cooked like meat. These will be set to “Not fresh”.
2 - If you deliver an order with 1 or more “Not fresh” components, customers will mark your dish as stale.
3 - Whole bun, uncutted vegetables or raw meats cannot be staled.

This mechanic was introduced especially for the Highscores system, so that people could not pre-cook the burger and look for an exploit in their cooking time.
Master the scores: Star rating
The number of stars in your reviews indicates the percentage of money the customer will pay. If you have 4 out of 5 stars, you will receive 80% of the payment.

Stars will only be lowered for cooking infractions or for the final state of the dish. Each infraction reduces one star.

In the Frenetic and Twitch game modes, time also becomes a key factor: every minute, the customer’s review loses one star.

Note: Twitch mode has been slowed down, now losing 1 star every 2 minutes. This change was made to enhance the game's "cozy vibes" for streamers, who don’t have access to the "Relax" mode available to solo players.

Something that many people believe but not so, is that the extra ingredients are considered incorrect. In reality, if someone orders you a plain burger and you add everything, the score will be the same. You just have to take into account when they explicitly ask you to avoid some ingredient.
Master the scores: Leaderboards
The scoring system is usually unlocked late in the game, so it is usual that you have already mastered quite a bit and unlocked all the ingredients.

These highscores are divided into four rankings, one for each game mode.

- Relax and Pomodoro mode: Here the orders do not take into account the delivery time, so you can go easy to make the burger. The average score will be made with your last 50 burgers.

- Frenetic and Twitch mode: In these modes, time plays a crucial role. Your score is no longer based on "whole stars", but on actual cooking time. Each star represents one minute (or 2 minutes in Twitch mode), so even being 5 seconds slower can reduce your score by a few hundredths.

The average score is calculated from your last 30 burgers. Burger complexity is not taken into account.

- Twitch mode extra: In addition to what is discussed above, twitch mode has a couple of extra calculations to avoid exploits. The orders will take into account the last 30 burgers ordered. If there are less than 10 different customers it will take previous burgers until it reaches all of them or finds 10 different customer.
If any customer have made several orders, he will all be averaged in a single order, and then it will average with other customers too.
-

In both game modes, it is essential to have a minimum number of burgers to appear in the table of other players, just as you must have delivered at least one burger in the last 30 days (15 in Stream mode) to keep your position and thus avoid unbeatable champions.
Master the customers: Special customers
In the game, there’s a 5% chance that a special customer will appear.
You’ll recognize them by their distinctive outfit.
Each one reacts differently to your behavior in the kitchen, and they’ll pay you extra if you meet their expectations.

1. Vampire: Sensitive to bright light, causing your score to decrease 500% faster when the light is on, but only 50% when it's off. Make sure to deliver their order with the lights off, or they’ll dock you an extra star.

2. Annoying kid: Obsessed with the service bell and won’t stop ringing it. But don’t even think about taking it away—or they’ll leave angry.

3. Burger lover: Loves burgers. Even if they ask for something simple, they’ll appreciate it if you go all out with extra ingredients. This is the perfect customer to serve your best, most loaded burger and earn a great tip. Do not mix extra basic sauces, you are not adding a new sauce, you are modifying the sauce itself.

4. Hood boy: Plays his music loudly and won’t stop. Wish you could turn it down? Well, you can... But if you let him jam and still serve him, he’ll tip you nicely.

5. Critic: Much more demanding than the rest. The slightest mistake will make them leave. Take your time and make no errors, or they’ll walk out angry and unpaid. (🚫🥢)

6. Delivery Rider: The food isn’t for him, so he couldn’t care less about your problems. Your kitchen can catch fire, food can fall, or be undercooked—it doesn’t matter. Just make sure to serve him quickly and with the correct order, or he’ll get a bad review at his job. (🚫🥢)

Notes:
* If you try to close the window on one of these customers before they arrive, they’ll just wait until you reopen it.
*🚫🥢: This customer is not affected by chopsticks.
QUESTIONS
This guide will be updated little by little as I see gameplays of people where the mechanics may not be completely clear.

That's why I would like you to tell me if you read this and tell me if you have also discovered something new or if you have already discovered all this by yourself!

Take advantage of the comments to also ask me about any mechanics you want, and I will add them to the guide if they contain any secrets.

Question: What about the complex sauces? Like the honey mustard for the bear, which one for which animal?

Thanks for the clarification on the sauce and that you won't get knocked for extra ingredients. I was hesitant to try sauces for fear of trying the wrong one.
