Config Setting
Enabling multiplayer is simple.
  1. Open the s3tdl.cfg file located in the same directory as the game executable.
    To find it:
    Steam Library → Right-click The Dark Legions → Manage → Browse Local Files
  2. At the end of the file, add the following line:
    ENABLEMULTIPLAYER=On
FAQ
  • Q: Does it have an online lobby / matchmaking?
    A: No lobby / matchmaker built-in. LAN only.
I haven't tested the multiplayer feature myself, but it's there.

I wanted to confirm that this does indeed work. I just gifted my gf a copy of the game. Excited to play with her and friends soon
