how to beat day 49 deathless
By kiaSscorched
are you doing a deathless run? were you strong enough to get past abram and abel? are you tired of binah shoving colored statues up your ass? have you had enough of being her lil piss baby ♥♥♥♥♥ boy? well then welcome to binahs twinks clubs, were dozens of Xs have been bashing their heads trying to make sense of the insanity of day 49 while preserving their beloved family, or employees/agents if you're a blue haired psychopath.
in this guide i'll outline tips and tricks that i have gathered scientifically through weeks upon weeks upon weeks upon... i dont even know how long of fighting her and getting knife played by her fairy attacks every possible way that i can without losing my nuggets. hopefully this guide will help you to be more aware of how to strategically play against her to finish the day with minimal(or hopefully 0) deaths.

unfortunately i didnt find a way to cheese her unlike gebura, so if you're looking for even an easier way to not deal with her ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i suggest going through some cheat mods on nexus. trust me it's not worth your sanity.

preparations

before we begin explaining how to kill binah again, we need to discuss the facility layout, abno picks and equipments that you have gathered for this run.

i will assume that you have already gathered basically every single piece of equipment from every single abno including the boss ones(apoc bird, white night, firebird etc) and have completed both binah and hokmas core suppressions, which increase your agent stats to 120 and lets you extract an extra piece of equipment from abnos, which basically doubles your aleph gear count except for the boss ones.

since we are doing a deathless run, we need to be very wary of problematic abnos during endgame. if you are playing right, you will have every single employee at level EX and with a minimum of 120 stat to boot(which you would be doing anyway unless you like to get your ass handed to you by hod), which gives your precious nuggets just enough health to survive whatever the game throws at them. but this poses a problem, since some abnormalities have conditions that require LOW level agents to work with them(reverse stat checks), and this will ruin our deathless run if we try to beat binah the proper way, which will force us to work with those abnos to stun her/reduce her armor/stop the waves/pillars. now you could also use you must be happy, but with all the ♥♥♥♥ thats going on in day 49, i dont think you'll be able to micromanage so well to make it in time to work with those abnos, and even then this still makes your nugget extremely weak and vulnerable to binahs attacks. so we need to avoid picking these abnos at all costs:
  • singing machine(O-05-30)
  • warm hearted woodsman(F-05-32)
  • meat lantern
  • scarecrow searching for wisdom(F-01-87)
  • funeral of dead butterflies(T-01-68)
you could argue that the last 2, funeral and scarecrow, aren't instakills and can be managed via suppression, and you'd be right. so if you took them, especially the scarecrow, keep a kill team nearby to suppress it while dealing with binah and dodging all of her other shenanigans... good luck.

you may also want to avoid the following abnos to not get absolutely wrecked by hod during day 47:
  • censored(O-03-89)
  • blue star(O-03-93)
  • nothing there(O-06-20)
not that it's impossible, just that it will make your day very very hard if you get any of these during the suppression without maxed out agents. but its nothing impossible, i managed just fine while having censored and nothing there, and even if it is causing problems, you can always have you must be happy in your facility to fit the requirements to work on those abnos.

while you are working your way to day 46, its absolutely VITAL to level your agents to the maximum as fast as possible, while also maximising the stat increases of the ego gifts of certain abnos(todays shy look, black swan, da capo etc). the way i went about doing this is dedicating ENTIRE departments to training a certain stat(e.g. the department with burrowing heaven will be justice/compassion trainers, the one with nothing there/wolf will be strength/compassion etc) and then keep sending the same agent to work with that abno on that trait till the next meltdown, after which you will cycle to the next employee, and you'll keep doing this till you're confident that they have leveled up to over 100, which usually takes 5-6 works on alephs and 8-9 on waws, but i don't know the exact math behind it and you might need to work overtime to make sure of it. also try first maximising the work speed and success% gifts you get by working on those abnos, then hp and then sp bonuses. also try getting child of galaxies gift on as MANY nuggets as possible, since the passive heal comes very handy.

you may also decide to get white night in the facility to use its benefits with its ego gear, and as long as you dont have any other time sensitive abnos(train), you'll be fine. its worth it trust me.

after you get to day 46, you have to dedicate entire departments to fight certain white ordeals. usually the way i set it up is that whichever side white night is on will become black killers because we absolutely DON'T want white night to breach. remember the deathless condition we arbitrarily put on ourselves? yeah if you're doing this right you'll probably have white night disciples among your agents, so if he breaches you'll lose all of them. so we have to make our agents wear black resistance gear with red weapons, and we'll do the same for red as well(red resist and black dmg). blue and white fixers are kinda tricky, since there arent many pale weapons in the game so you'll at most dedicate a single department(or one floor of central command) to killing the white fixer, and for blue fixer you need to give the best blue resist aleph gear to that department with white dmg. remember that there are some weapons in lower levels(waw, he) that will increase a certain damages output, for example spore from little prince deals white damage, but also has a chance to decrease the white resistance of the target, so keep one or two of these weapons sprinkled in every department of a single damage type to maximise the damage.

by the end of this setup, you'll hopefully be able to order all of your agents that are dedicated to dealing with a certain fixer with a single drag of mouse. for example, because my white night is in the record department, i have dedicated that department, along with welfare and safety to dealing with black fixer. this means that once a black fixer shows up, i can just drag my mouse all over the left side of my screen, grab the 3 departments and order all of them to attack it. same with red, white and blue fixers, which makes it much more organised and manageable when you can't pause the game. setup shown below if you're confused by what the hell am i even talking about:

now that everything is set, let's get to actually kill binah and break the curse of the piss baby ♥♥♥♥♥ club once and for all... hopefully unless you're a masochist who resets to day 1 to do it all over again like me.
start of day- playing without pausing
this part is fairly straight forward: you need to keep playing without pausing, not even once, cuz theres a 50/50 chance of an agent dying, and we're doing a deathless run. you won't need to do it anyway if you've picked your abnos right and organised your nuggets into specific kill teams. so when the dawn and noon rolls around, you just send them all to work with a single click. you can also use the rabbits UI to locate the fixers if you're having a hard time finding them without pausing, since the rabbit UI also shows the number of threats in that department. you don't need to call them just yet, but it's a neat little detail.

continue till you reach meltdown level 4. once you reach meltdown 5, binah appears and you'll need to fight her, so we'll need to prepare our agents for her arrival. be sure to execute every single clerk on the extract dept. this is because binah will NOT attack unless she is provoked, and clerks will mindlessly attack any hostile creature they meet, which might cause binah to shove a blue pillar up your ass and take out BOTH record and extract dept nuggets, which will ruin our deathless run.
beating binah
you can beat binah in a few different ways. i will explain them and the strategy for them and their pros and cons. since this is deathless you cannot use the clock. we're raw dogging this one chief.
  1. the proper way
  2. the improper way
so without further ado, let's get into it.
the PROPER™ way

so you wish to beat binah, but you also want to pay your respects to this godess, this absolute dream waifu of eternal wisdom and violence; you want to treat her like the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ queen she is. well, here's how i'd do it if i were you.

with this method, you'll have to deal with her meltdowns, and instead assign a kill team to deal with binah once her defense is down and she is stunned. remember that pic in the previous section where i showed the nugget organisations? you must have wondered why the pale dmg nuggets were locked down in architecture dept, cuz it doesn't make much sense to dedicate the white fixer team to the furthest point away in the entire game, which now i'll tell you why they are there: they are the kill team that deal with binah. before triggering the 5th meltdown, place them on the right hallway of architecture dept, to cut down their traverse time to reach binah. do the same with every department in mid and lower levels(place central command nuggets on the bottom floor of their respective dept), put disciplinary, record, extraction and welfare in one of their big hallways and not in the main room. the nuggets of upper layers are fine where they are except the control dept, so be sure to start working on their meltdowns first and start from the 2 bottom ones, then work your way down. once binah triggers the meltdowns and starts her catwalk through your facility, the spikes will also hit. there really isn't much you can do other than hope to whatever god you believe in(or don't) that your agents/clerks don't stack up on each other and get hit twice with the aleph tier black damage, which WILL kill most nuggets with anything less than aleph gear. this is basically the biggest problem with this method: the lack of control due to decentrilisation. you literally CAN'T watch out for all of your nuggets, all the meltdowns, and micromanage the kill team properly, so you need to choose. i did say that the top layers don't need rearrangement, but putting the safety, training and ESPECIALLY information dept nuggets in a bigger hallway might help juuuust a bit with not getting double hit by the spikes while not affecting their travel time to reach the meltdowns much. if you decided to engage binah after doing the meltdowns, watch out for her attack. binah will attack the very last nugget that damaged her either after her attack cooldown is finished or her stun duration is over, and then she won't attack again for ~15-20 secs. this information is VITAL. if you keep this in mind, you'll dodge through her attacks like a ninja. do this 3 times and you'll win. good luck. OR you can get lucky with binah going in the architecture dept first, which means you can call rabbits on her and just deal with the meltdowns, which would make you one lucky bastard since the chances of binah going there is pretty low. she chooses a hallway/room at random and starts walking there, and architecture dept basically has the LOWEST number of rooms/hallways at only 3. so the chacnes are very very low. still be on the lookout and if you see her going down there, extract your architecture nuggets and call rabbits on her asap.
the "improper" way

so you just want to deal with this ♥♥♥♥♥ and be over this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess of a game. you don't give a single flying ♥♥♥♥ how you do it, you just want to end the day with all of your employees intact, screw all these limp ♥♥♥♥♥♥ precautions and conditions and meltdowns and games. well, that's also possible. the answer is really simple: just gang up on her. literally. before triggering the 5th meltdown, order all of your nuggets into hallways above or below the extraction team. usually i send 2 depts into each of the long discipline hallways, control dept to the top floor of disciplines main room and the 3 left depts(safety, welfare and record dept) to architectures right hallway with that depts nuggets as well. in the near end of 4th meltdown, you need to keep a few nuggets behind for any problematic abnos you may have(white night, blue star, nothing there, burrowing heaven and believe it or not, void dream are a few that absolutely have ruined my runs) and leave a single nugget in extraction team to bait binahs first attack. when she spawns, the nugget attacks, binah will prepare an attack after she sends the shockwave, which you can dodge, and after that

send THE ENTIRE FACILITY AT HER. hit her with a slow bullet as well. remember binah has 15-20 secs of cooldown between her attacks, so you can safely send your nuggets after her and deal with any problematic meltdowns that you care about(the abnos mentioned above are a good starting point). at this point the entire facility will go to ♥♥♥♥ cuz the meltdowns will cause all of the abnos to break out. do not pay any attention to them and just focus on binah and her attacks. since you're sending the entire facility at her, it can be very hard to tell what she is doing with all the effects and glitter of your nuggets weapon that hit her, which makes it ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL that you keep her attack cooldown in mind. once you think she is getting close to doing another attack, send ALL of your nuggets to the next hallway, preferably the one she is headed towards, and then order a single nugget to go back and order them to attack binah from behind. this makes sure that if she attacks, you'll be able to see it, and that it won't be in the direction of the rest of your agents in case it's a pillar
(i lost a very good run to a blue pillar once. 37 dead on the spot. fun stuff). after baiting her attack again, put a slow bullet in her ass and gang up on her again. do this till she goes to the next phase. after the transition, the spikes will hit again, and it WILL kill your nuggets since they are all stacked up in different ranges trying to hit her, so be sure to order all of your nuggets to walk to a very distant hallway in order to reduce the chances of the spikes hitting them. after the spikes are over, keep baiting her attacks and ganging up on her over and over till you reach phase 3. once phase 3 starts, she starts charging up pillars in many different directions. unfortunately, your entire facility is up her ass, so you can't really deal with any of the meltdowns to stop the pillats from launching. the best you can do is to just order your nuggets to go to a very far away hallway, or one that isn't in the way of the pillars(say if binah is in the top floor of disciplinary depts main room, order your nugget to either the first or third floor of central command, which will put them out of the 45 degree angle of her pillars. after that's over, you can bait her again and start attacking her once again. strangely enough, when i beated her the first time, it was a lot easier to kill her. for some reason her resistances were just dropped. either i got very lucky and the problematic abnos that got a meltdown( the ones that COULD have a meltdown cuz at that point everything that COULD have breached had breached,so there were very few abnos left to cause meltdowns in) were the ones related to her defense, so when i sent my nuggets to work with the problematic ones i accidentally dealt with her defense as well. lucky me. and i finished the day with... a single death oh ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HELL-
conclusion
so now that we have discussed the both ways to deal with day 49, with all the preparations necessary to actually pull it off, i will finish with a tl;dr of pros and cons of both ways and a final conclusion.

the PROPER™ way
deal with meltdowns, kill binah when she's down(stun->defenses disabled)
pros:
  • lore accuracy
  • less dodging and more chance of kill team survival
  • binah is more manageable
cons:
  • requires lotta micromanaging
  • basically cooked if you get binah with a noon ordeal, ESPECIALLY if the dawn ordeal wasn't black
  • rng hell of praying to god that spikes don't hit your stacked nuggets on clerks

the "improper" way
♥♥♥♥ HER UP
pros:
  • centralised management of agents
  • not dealing with ordeal BS
cons:
  • you're literally blind due to the sheer amount of effects happening on screen
  • fps is kill, game will not register your commands as well
  • HIGH chance of problem abnos breaching, ending your run

why are we here? just to suffer?

basically the only reason i made this guide was to help others who are struggling with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that is a boss with nothing but instakill moves, in a management game with permadeath that you can't even pause, and optimisation issues that makes you fight the game harder than the actual boss that you're supposed to beat. all in all, this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ level through and through, and i can't wait till i finally beat it again deathless for the third time, but frankly, i'm done counting my stars, and this guide was my way of coping with the torture that was day 49 of lobcorp. i'm done wasting weeks of my life just getting castrated by binah over and over and sent back to the kiddie corner for timeout till i gather the confidence to try again and get absolutely wrecked again, over and over. oh well, here's an entire run summarised in a few short gifs:

all in all i hope you have broken free of the curse of binahs harem of twinks, and can now reunite with your absent father ayin so that you can work on that daddy issue of yours that caused you to simp this hard over a goth dommy mommy and suffer unnecessarily hard for it, and finally become one with the light that he has been planting during the time he went to buy some milk-i mean seeds of light. hopefully this will be the happy ending that you, X, the manager of this lobotomised company deserve after all those years of suffering and torment, right?
