The B52 is the only player flyable strategic bomber in Vietnam. As of the current version (Release/Beta 1) only one airbase in the game has the player variant of the bomber.

Ubon Royal AB.

This Airbase can prove to be hard to reach but in this guide I will cover how you can get there and fly your very own B52.

This Guide also has a video version for those of you that prefer a crazy wolfs ramblings in video format over text!

The Vietcong side has it the easiest, just spawn in as any corp (even an existing save will work!) and fast travel to this village in Thailand;
(note this is most likely a bug that may or may not get fixed in the future.)

After fast travelling press 6 to equip your smoke grenade, then press v until it is cycled to red (evac)
Throw a smoke grenade near you then wait for the evac chopper.
As the heli is landing quickly press E to take control and fly towards the airbase.

Land next to one of the B52s, grab it, and congrats! You have a B52, just press w to gain speed and start flying gloriously into the sunset. (note there are no sunsets in this game.)

The best part of the US side is it does not rely on any bugs.

On the US Side you have three options to get their quickly
1.) Fast travel from a base radio to Ubon Royal AB.
2.) Start as an Air America pilot and fly to Ubon Royal AB
3.) This one is the easiest but means you will not get to fly it on your actual save, spawn on the US range, grab a helicopter, and fly to Ubon Royal AB, its close by and lucky for you, the game is mostly still active in training range, just without saved progress.

There is technically a 4th option too which is just grabbing a jet and flying there, but that takes time.

As the AB is friendly to you, just go there and grab a b52. Simple as that.
