Gameplay Basics
The game is also interactive, though not nearly as much as other point-and-click games (in my humble opinion). Any time your mouse moves over an object that can be interacted with, your cursor will change. Use that to help find out what you need to click on; this will especially help with the Shop Conquistador and Shop Scout achievements.

All throughout the shop, there are items that can be clicked on. Once you click on an item, The Shopkeeper will say something about it. If you click on an item before The Customer enters, it will play the short story -- it's just The Shopkeeper musing to himself. If you click on the item after The Customer enters, the long story plays. You can only hear one long story per playthrough, but you can hear multiple short stories.

One of the most helpful ways to deal with the repetition in this game is the click-to-skip feature. After a while, listening to the dialogue all the way through simply becomes tedious. I do recommend you listen to it for as long as you can, because the voice acting is actually not that bad.

User davery83 reports that the cursor actually changes colors when you mouse over items in the shop. While they also note that this may be a new feature, I do not recall noticing it when I played the game myself. I'd be curious if other users experience the same thing on their playthroughs. If it does indeed change colors, davery83 says that it indicates red if the player has heard the story, either short or long, and green if it's new. If this is indeed the case, then it is a most welcome addition and will save users considerable time when attempting the Conquistador achievement! So please, if you're playing the game for the first time, and you notice anything about that, comment below!
Known Achievements
Shop Dream: (Credit to Cymerio for this one!)
To trigger Shop Dream, wait for the dialogue with the Mother-in-Law in her office. Before you speak to her, examine the clock.
Then, click on the following conversation topics:
1: His partner was all mouth and no trousers.
2: He didn't respond well to criticism.
3: This didn't involve anyone else.
If everything happens correctly, the screen should fade to black and an audio cutscene trigger. After the screen fades back in, The Shopkeeper will sell the clock to The Customer and the credits will roll. When they're finished, the next scene will be take place in The Shopkeeper's room. You can start the game over by click on him, and then on the text in his book.
EDIT: ◕ ‿ ◕ Lina reports that this can also be achievement with almost any formula, providing that a) you click on the clock upon entering the office and b) the LAST conversation topic selected is "This didn't involve anyone else."

Do You Even Work Here?: (Credit to proudlarry and Crossbourne for this one!)
In order to unlock this achievement, wait until you're in the Mother-in-Law's office. Once you arrive, be sure to first examine the bust. When speaking to the Mother-in-Law, choose any option the FIRST TWO TIMES you can select a dialogue choice. After hearing her responses and you get the choice of which dialogue option to choose for the THIRD TIME, you should select "This didn't involve anyone else." If everything goes correctly, you should receive the achievement.

Close, But No Cigar: (Credit to proudlarry and Crossbourne for this one!)
To get this one, wait until you're in the Mother-in-Law's office. Then, examine the clock. When speaking to the Mother-in-Law, choose any option the FIRST TWO TIMES you can select a dialogue choice. After hearing her responses and you get the choice of which dialogue option to choose for the THIRD TIME, you should select "He only cared about his family." That should unlock the achievement.

Dial M for Meh:
It would seem that, to unlock this achievement, one simply doesn't click on any of the important things in the office. For a list of items that will trigger achievements (like the bust or the clock), simply look at the achievements in the list of above and do not click on any of those things in the Mother-in-Law's office. Special thanks to users kartonage and Corinne for helping lock down the final formula for this achievement.

Ignorance is Bliss:
When The Customer enters the store, do not click on anything or engage him. For me, the camera switched angles and the customer entered again. After this second scene (where I also did not click on anything), the achievement should unlock.

Smell the Flowers:
When the scene switches to outside the shops, there are two trays of flowers right by the door to the flower shop. You have to click on the left one, and listen to the dialogue. Next time you're outside, click on the right one. After hearing both conversations with the florist, the achievement should unlock.

Persistence Comes in Many Clicks:
This popped for me after the tenth conclusion of the game. It takes roughly five minutes to complete the game, so it shouldn't be too hard.

Ruggedly Handsome:
There is a rug hanging on the wall behind the desk. To unlock this achievement, you have to hear the long and short story about it. The short explanation can be heard by clicking on the rug before The Customer enters, and the long explanation can be heard by clicking on the rug once The Customer enters the shop.

Shop Scout:
To unlock this achievement, you must hear the short stories for each item in the shop. Since all the items cannot be seen in a single frame, they are listed below but divided into two categories based on the position of the desk. The items are:

In the frame where the desk is on the right, there is:
- Stuffed owl in jar
- Painting of ship
- Bust
- Clock
- Rug behind desk
- Flask on table
- Silver spoon
- Chess set

In the frame where the desk is on the left, there is:
- Necklace hanging on wall under mirror
- Box under painting
- Box open in bookshelf (second shelf from top)
- Cane in bookshelf (third shelf from top)

Shop Conquistador:
To unlock this achievement, you must hear the long stories for each item in the shop. It's the same group of items as the above achievement, so I won't bother listing them again.

Haha you're more than welcome! And yeah, the game isn't much right now. It COULD be more, if expanded or reworked.

Thanks, Corinne! With that, it looks like the guide is complete, or pretty close to, anyhow! If anyone has any suggestions or finds any inaccuracies, please let me know!

Cheers, y'all!

I think kartonage is correct in regards to "Dial M for Meh". I did not unlock the achievement the first time I completed the game as I had examined the clock in the MIL's office. The second time around, I ignored the objects and the achievement unlocked.

@Anelis: I think that's the case, if my memory serves. As long as nothing is clicked on in the store, and the Customer leaves, the achievement will unlock. I /think/.

@davery83: I didn't notice that the that it had to be the second item in the shop. I got the achievement clicking on as many items as I could before it was actually selected by the customer. Basically, there are two sets of stories -- a long, and a short. The short is what is clicked on BEFORE the customer comers into the store. You can often get a few short stories in a single playthrough. The long story is what the shopkeeper tells to the customer. Does anyone else have more evidence to support either of our interpretations?

Thanks everyone for your help! I'm updating the guide again, overhauling it and adding all your feedback.

@davery83, I haven't noticed the changing cursor color! I'll add it to the guide, and see if others experience the same thing!

I think "Dial M for Meh" is when you don't click anything important (for instance the Bust or the Clock) in the office.
