Ray Tracing.
Currently, full ray tracing support is available for NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 40 Series graphics cards and higher.
BUT
It is possible to bypass this requirement and use full Ray Tracing features and maximize the looks of your game on older RTX GPUs.
How to enable full Ray Tracing.
  • Head to C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Wuthering Waves/Client/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor (your disk drive name might differ).
    or
Open your Steam Library via Steam app, Right Click Wuthering Waves, select Properties..., click on Installed Files and click on Browse. Then head to Client/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor.
  • Open Engine.ini file with Notepad or Notepad++.
  • Copy these lines and paste them in to your Engine.ini file under the already existing prompts.
    [/script/engine.rendererrtxsettings] r.RayTracing=1 r.RayTracing.LimitDevice=0 r.RayTracing.Enable=1 r.RayTracing.EnableInGame=1 r.RayTracing.EnableOnDemand=1 r.RayTracing.EnableInEditor=1

You're done with Step 1. For some people, this step alone is enough for all the ray tracing features to be unlocked in-game but for some it's not. If you still don't see all of the ray tracing options in your game, keep following the guide.

  • Download the latest version of DB Browser from here[sqlitebrowser.org].
  • After Installing DB Browser, open the application and select Open Database.
  • Head to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Wuthering Waves\Client\Saved\LocalStorage and select LocalStorage.db file.
  • Search for Ray Tracing lines.
  • Change the Ray Tracing values to make it look like this:
  • After changing the values, save changes and close DB Browser.

RAY TRACING OPTIONS WILL NOT WORK IF YOU'RE RUNNING THE GAME ON DIRECTX11 (-dx11 launch option).

If everything is done correctly and in order, you should see
Ray Tracing
Ray-Traced Reflections
Ray-Traced Global Illumination
Ray-Traced Shadows

in your graphics settings.
Screenshots taken on RTX 4060, i5-14600k, 32GB RAM.

Be wary that the ray tracing options eats up a lot of VRAM and sits heavy on the performance. It's recommended to use Frame Generation if you have your ray tracing settings at highest possible.

I've done every method but it never works for me, restarted the game many times and the options never show in the settings

@Spefix Yes, I used other launchers but I uninstalled everything and then installed Wuthering Waves from scratch when I saw it was on Steam...

@Whiterick are you sure you haven't used any additional launchers before, such as mod launchers for example XXMI that configures Engine.ini file and starts the game in DirectX 11 mode by default which sets all the Ray Tracing values to zero automatically because DX11 does not support ray tracing?

@Spefix Yes, I followed all the steps to the letter and checked the game address several times and also tried marking it as read-only, but the game ignores the Engine.ini file and if I try to do the same with LocalStorage.db, the game automatically creates a second copy and uses that copy instead of the original...

@Whiterick Hello. Dumb question but are you sure you're navigating to the Steam version of the game files and changing the lines in the correct Engine.ini file?
If so, your Steam might be verifying the files and automatically reverting the inputs to default.
To prevent this, right click your Engine.ini file, select Properties and in General tab, mark Read-Only ✔. This way, it will prevent your configuration to being reset back to default.
Hope this helps!

I have an RTX 2060, and I remember the Epic Games version allowed me to enable RTX this way, but switching to Steam doesn't. I'm following all the steps, and it doesn't enable it, unlike the Epic Games version.

@Klisas Daiktas this is new to me. Thank you for this information. I was only aware of them adding 120 fps support for older devices.
As an RTX 4060 user, I did have the Ray Tracing support but it was only the simple reflections option and Ray-Traced Reflections, Ray-Traced Global Illumination, Ray-Traced Shadows were hidden for me. With this guide, it's bypassable on any RTX card.

They've added support for some older RTX cards in 2.3, now I have ray tracing options in game with a 3080ti
