TRN - Aegis Defense Platform MKI

The Aegis Defense Platform is a compact, crewed artillery station designed for high-intensity frontline defense. Equipped with four heavy artillery batteries and a modest array of point-defense turrets, it delivers punishing fire support against capital ships and orbital targets while maintaining a minimal defensive shield against incoming threats.

True to its name, the Aegis stands as a shield for critical sectors, often deployed in contested space or near vulnerable infrastructure. Its role is clear: delay, disrupt, and destroy. Built for function over comfort, the platform's interior is extremely spartan, with bare-bones accommodations and utilitarian design.

Despite its discomforts, the Aegis is a symbol of steadfast protection—a bulwark of firepower, holding the line where others might falter.
