  1. On the Steam Library's game page, click on the gear (Manage)
  2. Now click on "Properties..."

  3. There's a text box with title "LAUNCH OPTIONS", copy and paste the following code there:
    cmd /min /C "set __COMPAT_LAYER=RUNASINVOKER && start "" %command%"

You guys are all wrong. It just so happens that I haven't played the game since the steam release and recently logged in again. No issues with the update or anything else. Everything works fine, no errors or crashes. So you can use it safely.

I will be glad if more people who used the guide in the future write about their experience.:dsdclike:

I think this will work as long as the game doesn't actually _need_ admin rights, so probably up until next major update or after first install (and first granting it admin).

There won't be any issue with patching with this, as Steam folders are all in user space, please stop spreading nonsense Petekabbo.

Do not do this. This suppreses UAC prompt but doesn't grant admin right. You may encounter issue with patching with this.
