ARC solo/suck at pvp guide
By Afanickton
Really basic guide if you're new and have hardly any skill to defend yourself. I will edit this as things become irrelevant with updates.

- When you hit > PLAY and CONFIRM the map, on the top of the screen you can select FREE LOADOUT. It lets you play with the bare essentials is honestly great for most challenges/quests that do not involve pvp, it offers only gains with absolutely zero loss.

- Open the map and Tag an elevator in a no-risk zone so you can run for it once you complete your challenges/quests.

- When roaming the zones keep an eye out around for other players, if you manage to see someone else before they see you try to find some foliage and stop moving. Moving will have you appear more hostile and draw attention.

- When moving you can SLIDE down hills or buildings to keep your momentum and you do not consume stamina. It also lowers your silhouette making you harder to hit.

- Keep some adrenaline shots on you so when you're being engaged and know you cant defend yourself you can bolt in a direction with better cover and I notice most raiders do not chase.

- When roaming zones SEARCH EVERYTHING! Let the container fully search and you get experience, loot what you need and youll be golden. The Breach and search yield better loot and more XP.

- If you do find yourself with another player and know you have no way to defend yourself DO NOT HESITATE TO EMOTE! (hold the G key) and using DON'T SHOOT!, I've had over a dozen encounters where immediately emoting has resulted in zero hostile reactions from other raiders even when in elevators initiated by them.

- If you feel accomplished just go to your designated elevator/extraction point, a win is a win!

- TAG/PING any ARC unit when you have no idea what it is, identify any hornets at elevators because if you're trying to activate the panel inside the extract they can STUN LOCK you from safety eventually downing you.

- If you call an elevator and are in safe position you can rely on the automated 2 minute recall on the elevator to escape, On the top of the screen in the middle just look at the time you activate the elevator and just run into it when you have enough time to make it inside and even if you're downed inside you'll be successfully extracted, most players wont have enough dps to finish you once you're inside so long as you're downed inside.

- I don't suggest stealth weapon builds against ARC units as they're loud anyways so they'll reveal your location making it pointless.

- Even doing your challenge/quests and dying is a win, don't give up. Most progress is completed/carried once items are picked/locations looted/objects interacted. It's all just baby steps until you feel empowered to broaden your defensive capabilities.

In another moment down went Alice after it,
never once considering how in the world she was to get out again.

I never encountered one friendly player. Everyone seems to be on a "shoot first" basis. And my "grifters" camped at the elevetors once I made it there. I´d prefere this in PvE or PVP with loosing gaint loot but not the gear on the charater like the Dark Zone in Division 1 for example or Ghost Recon PVP. Humans against Bots with community Worldbuilding and Challenges would be a blast in my opinion, but I seem to be only one of the few who see it like that.
BUT THX FOR THE GUIDE, even though I couldnt make it work. Cheers!

There should be Hunter Bots that come down and hunt the griefer's. :spoteye::spoteye::brigalarm:

Very thoughtful, thanks! I loved the friendly encounters in The Cycle Frontier and I hope to find some friendly players here as well. Raiders could be peaceful, it would fit the cenario "humans vs. bots" perfectly.

AND STOP SPEED RUNNING THE ROUNDS WITH RANDOM TRIOS! Let randoms explore and have fun! Play solo mode if youre gonna speed run the shit out of the rounds or camp extracts right away.

free loadout has no secure containers. when using free loadout just play stealthily and extract. for the workshop, you dont really need to unlock other benches other than the weapon bench used to craft better weapons. focus on upgrading the weapon bench to be able to craft higher tier weapons. most quest is party shared so if your party member does the objective for you it still counts as yours(damage players, kill X type mobs).

@jonah, it’s a thing for sure if you know what you’re doing. But if you do the free loadout you don’t get safe pockets to utilize.

Don't forget to mention using the safe pockets. So if you're downed, this is sure loot.
