Popis
Hi all, and welcome to my biggest and most difficult map to date, Greater Manchester.

Manchester is, and has always been, a railway town. With 3 stations serving the city, numerous lines feeding them, services by no less than 6 train operating companies, multiple freight sidings seeing daily movements, and plenty of train care depots to store and repair your favourite stock, you're sure to be busy.

Manchester Piccadilly is the biggest and grandest of the lot, seeing 12 end platforms and 2 through to Oxford Rd. The end platforms are given sinks in order to get game play up to speed quickly, and allow for times when multiple services use the same platform (the 'stacked' train will temporarily disappear into the platform end while the new train arrives and departs, and will then reappear ready to board and depart. This can make for some 'oh damn where did that train come from' moments I hope you enjoy.)

Manchester Victoria is smaller, but still reasonably busy and all paths into the station must be manually done. The thru platforms have auto departures to keep things a bit easier. The majority of map extremities are auto controlled so you can keep your eye on the action into and out of Man Pic.

Over 100 accurately timetabled services on the 15/04/25 between 1615 and 1740 are present, with real headcodes, plus a handy amount of freight to keep the map lively. You'll notice Salford Central has no stopping trains, that's due to it being closed today for platform refurbishment (as it was in real life). This will throw a spanner in the works for timings into Salford Crescent, so watch out for that and ensure trains arrive in the right order.

Approximately 30 hours of work went into this map so I hope it gives you a nice challenge and is worth a subscribe and a comment. Please leave your suggestions below for improvements, or if you're mad and want a version without any automation (I've tried, and failed).
