Epic and Artifact Gear List (WIP)

This is a list of all of the Epic and Artifact items in the game along with their unique effects. It is a work in progress. I will update as I find new stuff.

Basics
For each equipment slot, there is a variety of item types that can be equipped there, where each of those item types has at least 1 unique Epic variant. For example, in the Generator Slot, one of the item types you can equip is a Nucleus. One Epic variant of the Nucleus is the Twincore.

When upgrading the rarity of an item, its item type does not change. This means that, if you want a Twincore, one way to get one is to upgrade the rarity of a Nucleus item to Epic.
Stabilizers
Compensator:
  • Side Lash (Epic)
    • Effect: Your Multishot Skill has a x% chance to split each shot 1 extra time.
    • Description: Synchronizing the waveforms of a prismatic crystal's resonance frequency with the ether waves of the universe can allow for wonderful things.

Foils:
  • Negatron Collider: (Artifact)
    • Effect: Each enemy destroyed by Negate Existence reduces the cooldown of Negate Existence by X seconds
    • Description: These generate an ultra-brief stasis field around enemies that are being erased, allowing for fate energy recapture.
  • Moebius Inverter (Epic)
    • Effect: x% increased power while moving
    • Description: By linking up with their stationary counterparts in alternate quantum streams, these stabilizers can capture the difference in kinetic and potential energies for increased output.

Gyro Brace:
  • Celerity Form (Epic)
    • Effect: x% reduced Cooldown for all Secondary Weapons.
    • Description: These stabilizers are essentially a massive heatsink lattice that is constructed in the shape of a wing.

Wings
  • Slipstream Balancers: (Epic)
    • Effect: Afterburner energy usage decreased by X%
    • Description: As said by the sages of old: "Gotta go fast!"
CPU
Consolidator
  • Chrono Trap (Epic)
    • Effect: x% chance when you destroy an enemy to reduce the cooldown of Alter Spacetime by 1 second.
    • Description: Interfaces directly with your pilot to accelerate arrival of beneficial realities
  • Subjugator (Artifact)
    • Effect: x% All enemies affected by Confine are also Exposed for x seconds
    • Description: Interfaces directly with your pilot to accelerate arrival of beneficial realities


Lattice
  • Measured Channel (Epic)
    • Effect: x% increase Haste, but reduce Energy Regen by x%
    • Description: It takes enormous computational power to balance the cooling and power levels of a superclocked weapons array. Also, lots and lots of a ship's energy.


Processor
  • Integrated Harness (Epic)
    • Effect: x% increased Critical Chance on targets at High Health.
    • Description: It takes enormous computational power to balance the cooling and power levels of a superclocked weapons array. Also, lots and lots of a ship's energy.


Variator
  • Intrusion Coder (Epic)
    • Effect: x% Hacking increases your ship's Critical Damage.
    • Description: During combat, spare cycles can be shifted from cracking enemy decryption keys to decoding their defense matrix frequencies.
Primary Weapons
Gatling - Ammo-Based Projectile
  • Nucleic Injector (Epic)
    • Effect: When the debuff reaches 10, consume the entire stack to deal x% of Power in damage to nearby targets.
    • Description: A terrifying weapon that requires massive shielding to prevent its bullet superheating arrays from melting straight through to its weapon mounts
  • Protonic Accelerator (Artifact)
    • Effect: Applies 3 stacks of the Gatling vulnerability debuff per impact, but costs x Energy to fire.
    • Description: Hyperaccelerating each bullet's spin velocity requires energy intensive axial microadjustments until the instant it leaves the muzzle.
  • The Shredder (Epic)
    • Effect: The Shredder's projectiles deal X% extra damage that quickly decays in flight
    • Description: A terrifying weapon that requires massive shielding to prevent its bullet superheating arrays from melting straight through to its weapon mounts


Laser Energy-Based Projectile
  • Backup Plan (Epic)
    • Effect: Backup Plan fires a projectile both forward and backward, and its damage is decreased by x%.
    • Description: To nobody's surprise, initial test firings of this weapon caused substantial damage to its developer's test ship and weapons lab.
  • Pulser of Woe (Epic)
    • Effect: x% chance that this weapon's projectiles continue after piercing their target.
    • Description: The first prototype of this weapon obliterated the lab where eminent scientist Haim Struber was taking it for its inaugural test run.
  • Strontium Repeater (Artifact)
    • Effect: Each time Strontium Repeater hits a target, your ship gains x% increased Critical Damage.
    • Description: The reactive element Strontium hasn't been used in weapons for millennia due to the cascading structural failures it inflicts.

Phaser Energy-Based Beam
  • Adapting Beamer (Epic)
    • Effect: When Adapting Beamer hits multiple targets, gain a x% buff to Critical Chance per extra target for 10 seconds
    • Description: Uses the tunnels it bores through enemy targets as extra sightlines for subsequent damage improvements.
  • Phasic Aligner (Artifact)
    • Effect: Each Phasic Aligner equipped in any Loadout increases Primary Weapon Damage by x%.
    • Description: Its scorching beam warps spacetiem, attracting and synergizing with parallel discharges of Phasic Aligners in other dimensions.
  • Shatterlance (Epic)
    • Effect: Enemies destroyed by this weapon explode in a 100 meter radius for x% damage
    • Description: Percolates through a target's fuel grid on impact, massively overloading the engines if reached.


Ricochet - Ammo-Based Projectile
  • Shrapnel (Epic)
    • Effect: x% chance to spawn 2 additional projectiles upon impact.
    • Description: One good way to improve a weapon's damage is to dislodge chunks of opponents' ships for use as additional projectiles.


Scattergun - Ammo-Based AOE
  • Firespray (Epic)
    • Effect: Gains x% damage if there are no other weapons currently equipped.
    • Description: Requires a dual-strength energy conduit to power its shell pattern encapsulators.
  • vanquisher (Epic)
    • Effect: Fires a second shot with x% range if the first shot hits.
    • Description: Each piece of shrapnel has a quantum targeting system that feeds back telemetry and allows for a confident second blast.

Turbolaser Energy-Based Projectile
  • Indifferent Cruelty (Epic)
    • Effect: Increases the Execute threshold by x%.
    • Description: Completely overwhelms armor repair systems and shield projectors, making it far harder for them to keep up with incoming damage
  • Oncoming storm (Epic)
    • Effect: x% increased Critical Damage, but reduces Shield Recharge by 90%.
    • Description: Even a regulation turbolaser is a fairly rare sight. This one, even more so, because it draws tremendous power from a ship's defenses to increase its capabilities.
  • Polaris (Artifact)
    • Effect: x% Twin bolt effects are increased by x% rounded up.
    • Description: Rather than cloning projectiles as they leave the muzzle, this fierce weapon briefly clones the weapon that is firing them.
Propulsion
Booster - afterburner
  • Unstable Facilitator (Epic)
    • Effect: If undamaged for 5 seconds, increase power by x% per second, to a maximum of 20 stacks.
    • Description: Shunting excess power directly from this booster's fuel lines requires exceedingly precise temperature management and overload failsafes.
  • Plasmic Funneler (Artifact)
    • Effect: Occasionally deal x% of Power in damage to nearby enemies after 10 seconds of not using Afterburner.
    • Description: This booster's special fuel must constantly be cycled at a specific rate to prevent rapid unscheduled disassembly.


Igniter - Impulse Dodge
  • Syndicate Coller (Epic)
    • Effect: Reduces the cooldown of the Impulse Dodge propulsion ability by X%
    • Description: The Syndicate's engineering corps have little respect for energy management.


Impeller - Teleport
  • Superhero Launch (Epic)
    • Effect: Just before Teleport activates, immediately Sunder all nearby enemies, increasing their chance to be critically hit by x% for 3 seconds.
    • Description: From a time long since past.


Repulsor- Impulse Dodge
  • The Piercer (Epic)
    • Effect: Impulse Dodge deals x% of Power in damage to all objects passed through.
    • Description: Uses a destabilized phasing field to inflict serious damage on anything that might dare occupy the same point in spacetime.

Generator
Nucleus
  • Hyperloop (Artifact)
    • Effect: When you destroy an enemy while in Hyper Mode, the duration of Hyper Mode is extended by x seconds.
    • Description: Found in the ruins of an Ancient War, this generator was outputting far more energy than should have been mechanically possible
  • Twincore (Epic)
    • Effect: x% increased Energy Regen while Alter Spacetime is active.
    • Description: Why draw paradoxical energy from one alternate universe, when you can draw it from two?


Power Grid
  • Volatized Ember (Epic)
    • Effect: Increases Blast Radius of Area weapons by x%
    • Description: Infuses rare-Void minerals into the combustion reaction of explosives.

Quantum Heart
  • Salvaged Quantumheart (Epic) (Capital Ship class)
    • Effect: 0.9 Energy gained each time your ship's Health is damaged.
    • Description: A good example of baseline Syndicate tech. what they've accomplished by pillaging other faction's labs should not be underestimated.

Singularity Spark
  • Collapsing Star (Epic)
    • Effect: Continuously equalizes your ship's Health and Energy at a rate of x% per second.
    • Description: All things considered, this is far safer to equip on a spacefaring vessel than to do so with an exploding star.

Turbine
  • Energy Snare (Epic)
    • Effect: x% increased Energy Regen while your ship is at maximum Health.
    • Description: Created as an accident when it began siphoning structural integrity from the ship on which it was originally mounted.
Armor
Barricade (Capital Ship class)
  • Salvaged Barricade (Epic)
    • Effect: When there are no enemies Nearby (within 100 meters), heal you ship for x% of your Total Health per second.
    • Description: Has a quantumweave undercoat that occasionally oscillates the armor's fabric into another dimension.

Bulwark
  • Phase (Epic)
    • Effect: x% chance for enemy projectiles to pass through your ship.
    • Description: Has a quantumweave undercoat that occasionally oscillates the armor's fabric into another dimension.

Helix Weave
  • Reckoning (Epic)
    • Effect: Each time your ship is damaged, store a Reckoning Charge for 10 seconds, increasing the Power for your next shot by 33% per Charge.
    • Description: Redirection, dissipation, and conversion: the three core pillars of modern ship armor design. this piece, on the other hand, opts for storage and retribution.


Nano Mesh
  • Blaze Cocoon (Epic)
    • Effect: If your ship is damaged while envelope is active, deal x% of Power in damage to a nearby enemy.
    • Description: The best defense is a good offense combined with still some good defense.
  • The Kanbor Stunner (Artifact)
    • Effect: occasionally deal x% of Power in damage to nearby enemies.
    • Description: Sometims you catch lightning in a bottle. Sometimes, the lightning catches the bottle.


Plating
  • Sun-Cured Protector (Epic)
    • Effect: x% Increased Armor
    • Description: This armor is baked to completion near a star's corona, dramatically increasing its ability to withstand all forms of damage.
Shields
Absorber
  • Destructive Momentum (Epic)
    • Effect: Each time your Rampage Streak reaches a multiple of 3, deal x% of Power in damage to enemies within 100 meters.
    • Description: Favored by the Syndicate's high-tier assault squads, this acts as a sponge for kinetic energy.
  • Subversion Luer (Epic)
    • Effect: Drain x% of all nearby enemy shields per second.
    • Description: It was only a simple matter for the ancients to improve their deflectors by co-opting enemy shield generators.


Cover
  • Ignoble Retaliator (Epic)
    • Effect: When your shields become Depleted, gain x% additional Haste for 20 Seconds.
    • Description: Captures dissipating shield energy, repurposing it for enhanced ship systems efficiency.


Deflector
  • Resonating Lattice (Epic)
    • Effect: Beam weapons deal x% less damage to your shields
    • Description: Multiple interwoven shield layers are aligned to disperse continuous beams of energy.

Disperser
  • Stasis Capture (Epic)
    • Effect: when your Shields are Depleted, excess damage to your ship's Health is reduced by x%
    • Description: Arose from experiments on trapping kinetic energy during the final time quantum before allowing that energy to propagate to a protected structure.


Screen
  • Dauntless (Epic)
    • Effect: x% lower Shield Recharge Delay while your ship has any shields remaining.
    • Description: The polarity flux of this shielding system allows it to capture incoming kinetic energy, adapting it for the ship's own use.
  • Premium Cycler (Artifact)
    • Effect: The Gatling damage vulnerability never expires.
    • Description: Gatling projectiles now have onboard jammers that disrupt enemy regeneration and shielding systems.

Sensors
Analyzer
  • Multiphase Interrogator (Epic)
    • Effect: Occasionally deal x% of Power in damage to nearby projectiles.
    • Description: Instead of coming a a problem from another angle, come at it from all angles simultaneously.

Dissector
  • Vivisector (Epic)
    • Effect: Occasionally Sunder a nearby enemy, increasing its chance to be critically hit by 29% for 3 seconds.
    • Description: Relentless in pursuit of weak points, and merciless in illuminating them.


Scanner
  • Fearsome Targeter (Epic)
    • Effect: In The Zone also has a x% chance to trigger from a non-Elite enemy
    • Description: There are various commonalities within enemy ship types whose weaknesses can be found and exploited. Mercilessly.

Surveyor
  • The Scrambler (Epic)
    • Effect: Occasionally apply a Virus to two nearby enemy ships, causing them to take x% of Power in damage over 5 seconds and also infect nearby ships.
    • Description: I hope this goes viral. -Kassen Botivar, pharmaceutical genius who accidentally created the Great Technophage, R.I.P.
Secondary Weapons
Launcher - Ammo-Based projectile
  • Doom Javelin (Artifact)
    • Effect: After your ship takes damage, Doom Javelin's next shot deals 160% additional damage.
    • Description: This weapon's projectiles imbue their blast wave with an EMP manifold for additional target control
  • Grand Impact (Epic)
    • Effect: Enemies hit by this weapon are Slowed by 80% for 4.6 seconds.
    • Description: This weapon's projectiles imbue their blast wave with an EMP manifold for additional target control
  • Momentum Capture (Epic)
    • Effect: Momentum capture's projectiles gain up to x% Blast Radius as they travel.
    • Description: Each individual projectile has an on-board sensor and CPU to calculate thrust and heading in realtime for optimal damage delivery.

Nova - Energy-Based AOE
  • Cascading Executioner (Epic)
    • Effect: If Cascading Executioner destroys an enemy, it gains x% damage for 10 seconds. This effect can stack up to 5 times.
    • Description: You know the Kanbor Flotilla? Two million ships strong? Sacked seven hundred planets? Conquered forty two sectors? Yeah. This is what stopped them.
  • Slipstream Detonator (Artifact)
    • Effect: When Slipstream Detonator destroys an enemy, it has a x% chance to trigger again for free.
    • Description: Captures explosive energy to recharge instantly, redirecting some of the influx to its cooling system and gyrostabilization mounts
  • Venting Exploder (Epic)
    • Effect: Drains all excess Energy when fired, using it to deal x% of Power in extra damage that scales with the amount of energy drained.
    • Description: This is what happens when you remove all limiters from augmented Nova gear

Railgun - Energy-Based Beam
  • Splinter (Epic)
    • Effect: Splinter flings shrapnel pieces from enemies it hits. If they impact a target, they deal x% damage.
    • Description: it is more effective to repair the damage inflicted by this weapon than to deploy ablative armor heavy enough to protect against it.

Swarmer - Ammo-Based projectile
  • Salvo (Epic)
    • Effect: Hold <secondary fire> to lock targets, then release to fire, dealing x% additional damage for each unique locked target.
    • Description: Infiltrates enemies' own guidance systems to erlay their allies' telemetry and structural weak points to Salvo's targeting computer.
  • Rupture (Artifact)
    • Effect: Hitting an enemy with Rupture 20 times shatters its defenses, causing it to take x% additional damage for 5 seconds.
    • Description: Infiltrates enemies' own guidance systems to erlay their allies' telemetry and structural weak points to Salvo's targeting computer.
  • The Onslaught (Epic)
    • Effect: Each impact by one of The Onslaught's missiles causes the target to take 1% increased damage for 1 second. This damage vulnerability stacks.
    • Description: This weapon's real designation is Prototype 0-NS, but nobody calls it that after seeing it in action.
Drone
Interceptor
  • Reflex (Epic)
    • Effect: x% increased Health Regen after being debuffed.
    • Description: Essentially a super-sized version of anti-air missile tech.

Orbiter
  • Evasion Protocol (Epic)
    • Effect: When your Shields break, gain x% Safeguard and the Countermeasures buff for 3 seconds.
    • Description: In an emergency situation, it activates its decoy matrix and blurshield simultaneously, giving its mothership time to regain its footing.

Targeter
  • Sudden Followthrough (Epic)
    • Effect: Gain x% Power after you inflict Knockback or another push/pull effect on an enemy.
    • Description: Predicts impulses on enemy targets before they happen, allowing it to prime its auxiliary damage capacitors with perfect timing.

Transformer
  • Celestial Punishment (Epic)
    • Effect: Beam Weapons deal x% increased damage to targets at High Health.
    • Description: Celestial Punishment powers itself by siphoning energy from a star in an adjacent dimension. It is advised to check that the star isn't responsible for the heat and light of an inhabited solar system.
  • Voltaic Fortifier (Epic)
    • Effect: Increases Max Shields by x%
    • Description: Subtly shifts its orbit velocity when needed to augment local shield projection.
