Squad Showdown is a battleroyale-like mode where 8 teams fight to be the last one standing!
Acquire cash then use them to open crates and unlock powerful weapons.

Ah, I found the reason why. I had a duplicate give_weapon script in my custom folder. The gamemode works perfectly, excuse my earlier complaints. I'm very excited to try this out on a full server >=)

I tested with bots and the gamemode launches properly

On previous maps the map wouldn't properly implement the gamemode and we'd all be stuck with our existing loadouts, the timer wouldn't do anything once running out, and none of the gamemode-specific pickups or anything would spawn. No idea if that's just because I'm running the map with bots on a singleplayer world, but I imagine it might offput server owners looking to add this map to their server and seeing these bugs when loading the map privately to test it out :/
