Simple fix for Steam Overlay on vanilla Oblivion

The Steam Overlay does not work on vanilla Oblivion due to the launcher.
Here's how you can fix this.

The fix

- go to your Oblivion installation directory
- rename OblivionLauncher.exe to something like OblivionLauncher_backup.exe
- rename Oblivion.exe to OblivionLauncher.exe.

How it works

Steam launches the game directly, bypassing the launcher that usually breaks Steam Overlay.
(If you want to change settings in the launcher, just manually launch the OblivionLauncher_backup.exe)

Note for modding

This solution may break some mods, if you want to use a launcher like OBSE, simply rename .exe files back and launch OBSE with steam instead.

but before on 23H2 and on Windows 10, the overlay worked for me fine

this works for Windows 11 24H2, when the Steam overlay enabler mod failed to work and placing GameOverlayRenderer.dll from main Steam root folder to Oblivion folder failed too.
