Relay Courier Vessel (Respawn Pod)

Relay Class Courier vessels are small, single occupant vessels designed to deliver goods, data, and messages throughout the galaxy. Designed and produced by Gamboa Heavy Industries, the Relay class is able to load small amounts of cargo in its interior.

The Relay class is also designed as a mail courier. Due to the vast distances between destinations, Relay class vessels are classified by the ECTA as “Category B data transfer” vessels. Hosting a private storage bank for this purpose, Category B Relay vessels will download outgoing data for their target system, and hold it in a secure storage bank until arrival at their destination system.

The interior hosts lavish room for a single occupant, including a small kitchen, desk, and bed. There is plenty of space for other activities, such as exercise.

While relatively old, the Relay class’s functionality and ease of production means that these vessels are still extremely prominent in the human space.
