🎮 How to Fix Controller Not Working in Dark Souls Remastered

If your controller suddenly stops working or isn't recognized in Dark Souls Remastered, don't worry — here's a simple fix that has helped many players (and works in other games too!).

✅ The Fix (Tested and Works!)
1. Launch Dark Souls Remastered
Make sure the game is running in fullscreen mode.
It's best to do this at the main menu, but it also works in-game.

2. Open Task Manager
Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE
Then select Task Manager from the menu.

3. Switch Focus
Once Task Manager is open, click anywhere inside it (so it's the active window).
Then ALT + TAB back into the game.

Controller Works!
For some reason, doing this makes the controller get recognized again.
Enjoy playing with your controller!
💡 Notes
This method also works in several other games that have similar controller recognition issues.
No need to restart the game or mess with Steam Input settings.
