This guide shows you how to access an older version of Megaloot that still includes the dismantle system and stat-based gear. Perfect for players who prefer the original mechanics.

How to Switch to the Older Version (v1.14)

• Open your Steam Library
  
• Right-click on Megaloot and select Properties
  
  
• Go to the Betas tab
  
• In the Beta Participation section, choose '1.14 - older version' from the dropdown menu.
  
• Close the window and wait for Steam to update the game
  
  

What’s Included in Version 1.14?

• ✔️ Dismantle system for your owned gear is back
  
• ✔️ Stat-based equipment progression is active
  
• ❌ The temporary shop conversion system (where you could absorb all shop items as passive stats for a single battle) is not available
  
• ⚠️ Some gear still has stats that can’t be converted

It’s not a full rollback, but version 1.14 brings back the feel many of us enjoyed. If you’ve been missing the old mechanics, give it a try. Hopefully this guide helps more players find it!

The developer has confirmed that more older versions of Megaloot will likely be added in the future. This means we may be able to revisit even more of the original gameplay experiences that many players loved.
