Beskrivelse
Adds anti-sneaking behavior and dialogue to many NPCs throughout the game. If you are caught sneaking inside of an NPC's building they will follow you and warn you to quit sneaking, and guards will eventually call for backup.

This is intended to make the sneaking and thievery gameplay of Kenshi more difficult and fun. Sneaking now carries risks and can't be used to break the game as easily.

-----Technical Info-----
Triggered via dialogue package rather than AI package changes, may conflict with mods which modify or replace shopkeeper dialogue.

Dialogue packages added to: All vanilla shopkeepers, all vanilla barmen, all vanilla shop guards, The Five Invincibles, Protector Of The Flame, Samurai Elite. Has variations in the dialogue depending which faction an NPC belongs to.

Effect only applies when sneaking inside of a building owned by a squad with the associated dialogue package. Will end the trigger if you quit sneaking or leave the building. Will not trigger if you are allies with an NPC's faction.

Applies only to vanilla characters and squads, patches will be needed to add behavior to other mods.

Incompatible: Genesis, UWE

Patches Needed: Living World, Kaizo, any mods which add new shopkeepers.

Should be compatible with Reactive World, please report late-game missing AI behavior.

is there any possible way to make this work with UWE because it annoys the hell out of me when the game randomly decides to make everyone see you from behind a wall and then immediately attack whereas in vanilla this problem resolved itself by having the next tic make them lose sight of you

@Mitsurugi nope it is just a dialogue package that makes the npc follow you while talking when you are seen

Does this mod change detection parameters? I notice some weird stuff after installing this mod in relation to stealth. Mainly I seem to get detected a lot easier.

I have one dedicated "master sneak" with 94 stealth and a combined 1.6 modifier to stealth. I notice that while standing still, in the dark, in stealth, with a stealth skill the game sees as capped at 100, I am being spotted by the 3k hirable npcs with single digit stats. I can't be 100% sure if it's your mod, tho... I just don't remember being detected this easily before.

@AgroMak Couldn't you just not loot them?

I am pretty sure that if you try to pickup or loot someone of any importance near their faction or allies, you'll get in trouble. Should be kidnapping/stealing charges. And I believe bandits that were leaving you alone get hostile if you loot their fallen around them.

Hi. Could you please make a mod that prevents the player from freely looting and taking items from those killed by someone else, not the player?
Mitsurugi 11. juli kl. 7:01
This looks great. The other mod like this just made the entire city immediately hostile if you so much as bent down to tie your shoe.
