Sounds of War - An Ode to BattleTech

A comprehensive BattleTech/MechWarrior centric expansion on the in-game music by keeping all vanilla and DLC tracks, adding them to the procedural mission rotation, and incorporating music from other MechWarrior/BattleTech games and some BattleTech-universe focused fan tracks.

I wasn't really happy with the available music mods that have been released previously for MW5. Most, if not all, made it a point to replace the music found in the base game and DLCs while others incorporated their mod author's own personal tastes/flair into the selection which is fine, but never enhanced the experience for me. A lot of these other mods eventually fell way out of date and were never updated for newer DLC releases leaving missions with dead air and no music. The goal of this mod was not to replace any of the vanilla or DLC music from MW5 and only add in additional tracks to increase the musical diversity of what can be heard throughout a play session. Since I thoroughly enjoy the vanilla/DLC music and wanted to bring back a bunch of tracks from other BattleTech-universe video games, I decided to make this mod to combine all of that into one.

In this mod, you'll find all base game and DLC music along with tracks from the following:

NOTE: Fan tracks can be removed at any time at the request of the original creators.

- All other music mods are obviously incompatible.
- Other non-music sound mods such as Audiostash or Nostalgic Sounds Redux are 100% fully compatible.
