📡 Unit Communication Overview
📡 Unit Communication Overview

Units share information about enemy units through communication networks. These consist of:

🏢 Company Radio Networks
  • Each company has a dedicated HQ unit.
  • If the original HQ is unavailable, a formation leader with a radio can serve as an acting HQ.

🛰️ Independent HQs and Formations
  • Independent HQs exist outside regular companies.
  • Independent formations will use the nearest available independent HQ for communication.


🎨 Communication Color Codes

🟦 Cyan: Voice communication
🟩 Lime: Platoon radio message
🟥 Red: Platoon Leader ↔ HQ Unit communication
🟧 Orange: HQ Unit sharing info ➡️ Formation Leaders


⚠️ Communication Limitations
A unit cannot communicate if:

  • It is retreating or dashing

🗣️ Voice Communication Requirements:
🚙 The vehicle must not be buttoned-up
🔫 Units must not be firing or suppressed
📏 Maximum range: 150 meters

📻 Radio Communication Requirements:
- A radio-equipped unit must be present
