I finally suffer the curse of Rah, as I have not returned the slab, and the Egyptian gods are angry with me! Or something, I'm not sure. In this video I play Amenti, a horror game taking place within the Pyramids of Giza in the 1970's. You are a photographer by the name of Ethan Carter, determined to search for the grave of the Pharaoh Rudamun, or Rodamon depending on the subtitles, and his Queen Meretankhkar, whose name I cannot pronounce for the life of me and won't even try to. Meanwhile our character is assisted by Henry Caldwell, who is not a nod to Indiana Jones and an odd plot device. The Egyptian Pyramids are contested to have been built by aliens, and in History Channel fashion, this game subscribes to the same set of ideas, and believes that they conspired with building the Egyptian religion, the pyramids and the afterlife as luck would have it. Now I have to navigate the underbelly of the Pyramids and try and survive, escaping the alien afterlife world of Amenti - I couldn't make this up if I tried - and getting back home before ghosts, mummies and ghouls keep me there for good.
