Winter Ridge aesthetic is inspired by the freezing Coldfront's outdoors area, the layout and gameplay by Harvest, by making compact, fast paced, and keeping the feel of a classic map, but with a lil' twist

A thick snow storm may occur during the fight for even more cold troubles!! (it's purely visual but ey it's still cool)


/// HOW TO PLAY ///
Either of those options :

- Hit the subscribe button and relocate the map file to your maps folder
- Download the map file on TF2Maps[tf2maps.net] and relocate the map file to your maps folder
- Open the dev console and enter "map workshop/3460960153"

The map feature a .nav file so you can play it with bots in offline!

@Medic! Thanks for comment! And yes you are allowed to decompile my map, but only for education purpose, do not reshare it or submit it back to the workshop.

I'm glad cowerhouse got into the game, but I've gotta say having found this I adore the aesthetic of this one and the cool extra effects you did! I'm learning hammer to do map edits for my friends and potentially get good enough to make maps of my own so I like that you included some insights on where you got the inspirations!

I'd like to ask, is it alright to try decompiling the map to figure out how it works / learn how certain things were achieved? I especially like the aesthetic of the map and want to know how you got the effect of the fog rolling in + the much chillier look everywhere. I completely understand if not, but I'd be deeply appreciative if the opportunity is provided.

And of course, if I do end up referencing it in a capacity greater than just the base components learned to make any hammer map, credit would be provided in full.

This is still KoTH? I thought this would've been a Hold the Flag map. Though if that were the case, this probably would've been banished to the "other game modes" section.

grass grows birds fly and brother the fog is coming you need to run
