By Crump
This guide details how I got the Magnate achievement where you gain a net worth of $10,000,000, how I make 8+ bricks of high value product a day, and my understanding of how buyers operate.

My Automation
Below is where I explain my automation for making 8+ bricks a day and its almost fully automatic! It should also be known that I do not claim my setup to be perfect, just how I personally did it.

The sweatshop, bungalow, and barn are used to grow coca seeds. Air pot setups. 1 pot to 1 rack turning the product into heavenly. I always use 1 fertilizer for each plant. The sweatshop and bungalow heavenly coca leaves are transferred to the barn where I have 8 cauldrons and 8 ovens producing the cocaine. The cocaine is transferred to the docks warehouse where all of my mixing occurs.

My Mix before v0.3.4f4
Motor Oil -> Banana -> Cuke -> Paracetamol -> Gasoline ->
Cuke -> Battery -> Horse Semen -> Mega Bean

New/corrected mixing rules in v0.3.4f4+
Banana -> Motor Oil -> Cuke -> Paracetamol -> Gasoline ->
Cuke -> Battery -> Horse Semen -> Mega Bean

This mix produces $756 final product which has the sell price set at $999.
My Automation - Sweatshop
Sweatshop
1x Botanist

I have a simple layout of 4 air pot setups and 4 racks set to heavenly each pot goes to its own individual rack and each rack outputs to its own shelf.

Every Pot and Rack in all buildings are setup the same way as shown.

4x Botanist
1x Cleaner

I have a simple layout of 16 air pot setups and 16 racks set to heavenly each pot goes to its own individual rack and each botanists set of racks outputs to its own shelf.

2 beds in the grow room. 3 beds in the kitchen. All of my storage is also in the kitchen.

My Automation - Barn
Barn
3x Botanist
4x Chemist
2x Handler
1x Cleaner

At the entrance I have a input shelves for heavenly leaves (the two outsides) and output shelves for cocaine (the middles).
The input shelves are transferred by handler to individual shelves close to the cauldrons on each side. The handlers also transfer leaves to the cauldrons.

On the left of the barn I have four cauldrons and four ovens each cauldron goes into its own oven. The ovens output to the left output shelf. You have to fill the cauldron with gas!

Same thing on the right side, four cauldrons and four ovens each cauldron goes into its own oven. The ovens output to the right output shelf. You have to fill the cauldron with gas!

The back right has 8 air pots and 8 drying racks. 6 of the drying racks go to the right cauldron shelf and two to the left cauldron shelf.

The back left has 4 air pots and 4 drying racks. All 4 of the drying racks go to the left cauldron shelf. You can also see the storage for each botanist. As well as two beds.

All the extra worker beds in the attic.

My Automation - Docks Warehouse
Warehouse
6x Chemist
4x Handler

The reason I chose the warehouse for mixing is its proximity to the central gas mart. DELIVERES ARE MISERABLE FOR MIXING MATERIALS but great for seeds and fertilizer. The hardest part as a solo is keeping up with getting 160 of each ingredient every day for mixing.

Here is a Overview of the warehouse!
There are two sets of 9 mk2 mixers. Each chemist runs three mixers because they are slow at starting the mixers. Mixers are set at maximum threshold.

At the entrance you have the end of the mixing line with the input and out put shelves on the front wall of each side.

This is the start of the mixing, the cocaine is taken from the input shelf and ran continously through the mixers in order from left to right.

Here the bricks are deposited onto the output shelf.

Understanding Buyers and Selling
Once you reach late game (Day 100+) and maximum loyalty with all buyers, the buyers max sell prices (how much money they carry) are increments of the base max sell price as shown below. This price is determined when you go and offer product to a person on the street. This is believed to not work for counter-offers on the phone so just accept what they send you. Their max sell price increases every 5 ingame days. So sleep as much as you can to raise their prices.

The max sells increments are as follows:
  • +0% - Base Price (Beth -> Trent)
  • +60% - Base Price * 1.6 (Elizabeth -> Kim)
  • +80% - Base Price * 1.8 (Kyle Cooley)
  • +100% - Base Price * 2 (Anna -> Jerry)
  • +140% - Base Price * 2.4 (Geraldine -> Dean)
  • +180% - Base Price * 2.8 (George Greene)
  • +300% - Base Price * 4 (Fiona -> Walter)

Make sure your product price is set to $999. Give one stack of bricks to each of the six dealers.
Throughout the day find people and offer/attempt to sell to them as much as you can at their max sell price. While doing this if you enter a sell price, press +1/-1 to see the determined percentage. Make sure the chance of success is not 0% and attempt the sell. You will sometimes get your offers denied because it is still the chance of success, but the chances of them accepting is usually pretty good. Remember to not counter-offer deals on the phone and to do all of your phone sells at late night! Doing this right should net you close to 100k total per day between you and the dealers.

Here are my dealers. Dealers will teleport to customers that are too far away. I really did not think too hard about deciding who went where.
Extra Information
This is what happens if you do not use dealers!
I tried removing dealers and instant accepting customers for late night and realized that I earn worse than using dealers. Here is a picture of the outcome of that.
Proof and Time Taken
This achievement took 121 hours for me to do solo.
It took about 240 in game days.

Hey @crump thank you very much for this guide! I have a question about the handlers in the barn. If the handlers are meant to transfer the leaves from the input shelves (near the front) to the shelves closer to the cauldrons, AND transfer those leaves to the cauldrons themselves, how does the system work with only two handlers (max 5 routes each)? Are they only transferring the leaves to one shelf on each side?

Been scratching my head on this for a bit.

Thank you for the guide! I was wondering if anyone else ran into the problem of only Uptown people not spending their daily max limit. I don't have this issue with my Suburbia folks. I only sell via phone and maxing Suburbia people to their max limit is no issue at all. I even tried lowballing (2,5k for 3x 8-mix cocaine with max spending limit being 3k), but it didnt work either.

How do I differentiate input and output shelves?

@vega Nice!

brilliant guide Crump.. i refined the docks setup a bit i moved some of the middle shelves from the back storage area to the sides and under the stairs in the main area i can now fit in 3 cauldrons and 3 ovens for cooking coke. using the free slots on chemists, i do have to manually reload the cauldrons with coca leaf every night. doesnt seem to slow the brick production either.

Hii autor, I want to know in which shelf do you put the "product" in the docks, I can't figure it out, thanks

@Mr.Peeter 鎖せ ムルシエラゴ Because it was easier to sell and I started using the mix before the chemists received an extra slot.
