These are my favorite lineups. You may not agree, and you are wrong. I will update this as I see fit, when I see fit, when I'm not lazy. WIP.

1. USA Ground
6.7 -> Makes me froth at the mouth 9.5/10
  • T34 (6.7) - A tanks tank. The 120mm gun would make even your fat mom look small in comparison. Expect everything to bounce off of you in downtiers. One of my favorites.
  • T26E5 (6.7) - The T34's little cousin. Average firepower. Good armor. Solid boi.
  • T26E1-1 'Super Pershing' (6.7) - The T26E5's older brother. A little more armor, a little slower, slighly bigger schlong. A middle man between the previous 2 tanks. Weak spots are a little more obvious.
  • M56 (6.7) - The glass cannon. You will 1 shot everything. Everything will 1 shot you. The HEATFS with 320mm of pen is all I rock. I laugh in the face of a Maus. Hits top speed of 45km/ph in approximately 1.4 seconds. Not the fastest tank but the acceleration is there. The cannon moves slow and you have the least armor in the game, but it's a real min/max tank. Oppressive by nature as it fits into the war thunder "fast tank big gun" meta. One of my favorites.
  • M50 (6.7) - M50 is similar to the M56 except instead of 1 schlong of a gun you have 6 "recoil less rifles" (it's just a rocket launcher). I prefer the M56 as it has far superior range, although the M50 will be better in CQC where you can fire all 6 rockets back-to-back. I would take this OR the M56, not both IMO, but I prefer the M56.
  • M41A1 (6.3) - I want to be inside this tank and never pull out that's how in love with it I am. The sabot has 296mm of pen so we run into the same thing with the M56 where you will 1 shot anything, but this time a 7.62 machine gun won't kill you. Higher top speed than the M56 but slower acceleration. I don't understand how this thing is 6.3 IMO, should be 6.7. Arguably the most oppressive tank in the lineup, I always spawn in it first. Fits the War Thunder ground RB meta perfectly. Spawn, capture a point before anyone can get there, get to stupid sniping point and kill unaware players who think they can't be shot yet. Flank and repeat. Even if you die early the point capture points will let you oppress in a CAS right after.
  • F8F-1B Bearcat (6.3) - USA CAS is broken so really you can take whatever you want here that is 6.7 or under. The 20mm's and 3 1k lb bombs you can carry make you hell for the opposing team.
2. Germany Ground
6.7 -> Pretty darn good. 8/10. Although it's good something about it feels not as fun as it should be. Lugging slow tanks around the map gets tedious. Sniping city. Bread and butter are the Tiger II's and the M41.
  • Tiger II H (6.7) - It's a Tiger 2. Not much else to say. Stupid frontal armor and stupid 88mm gun will rip thru people like you're Omniman. Slooow. Biggest gripe is that shooting the back of the turret is really so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ easy for anyone with a quarter of a brain and you'll look like Jason Pierre Paul after his firework incident in no time.
  • Tiger II P (6.7) - Ditto but the ^^^ is better by the width of one of my ball hairs.
  • leKPz M41 (6.7) - Germany's version of the USA bulldog. Just scroll up and see what I said there.
  • Ferdinand (6.7) - Another slow tank that is a ♥♥♥♥♥ to kill from the front but turns into swiss cheese from the side (I guess you could say this for most tanks in the game but the German ones feel a little more blunt about it). As per usual shooting an enemy is the equivalent of taking a 12 gauge to a cockroach. You'll be on tiktok for 3-4 business days while you march to battle. Pretty synonymous with a Jadtiger so if you like that better, go for it.
  • SPAA (??) - Go with whatever you have at 6.7 or under honestly. German SPAA is like the second coming of christ, you can just use it as your main tank to kill other tanks half the time. You can rock the Ostwind II here for all I care, it'll still be effective.
  • ME-262 (6.7) - 50mm go brrr. Shoot the top of the tanks and just imagine they're your favorite former president hailing from Massachusetts.
3. Russia Ground
3.7 -> Solid 7.3/10. Sometimes broken sometimes just valid. Weak outside of the KV-1 and KV-2, but if those two tanks don't last you the whole match, then it's a skill issue.
  • KV-1 (L-11) (3.7) - Love this dude. Fine firepower, made of stallinium, slow turret rotation and not great speed. On tier, this thing is good. You can eat lead. My only gripe is sometimes you get hit with that "non penetration" and it makes my skin crawl. In a downtier? I think this is the most broken tank I've played with in a downtier. If you downtier, and you're doing anything less than getting 5 kills and 0 deaths, it's a skill issue. My last match with it I scored 9 kills, and I ate maybe 30 ish shells while spawncamping.
  • KV-2 (3.7) - Huge schlong of a gun. 95% of the time you hit someone they are atomized. It's not one of those HE shells that you have to overpressure for a kill either, with 65mm of pen on the base round, and 85mm on the PB-35 round, you've turned war thunder into a point and click game. Reload time is about 4-5 business days though.
  • T-34 (3.3) - A little bit out of your league at 3.3 with this boy, but when everything is made of stallinium, you can make it work. The gun holds up well enough but the armor is lackluster. You'll still get shells ricocheting because of stallinium, and it's surprisingly fast, so you can utilize it as a backup light tank IF your KV-1 and KV-2 go down.
  • Anything Really (3.7) - Don't really care what else you do. SPAA, tank destroyer, whatever. You probably won't ever use it. The KV-1 and KV-2, and whatever air you wanna bring are the bread and butter of 3.7 and it's probably all you'll need.

4.0 -> Good 8/10. It's like 3.7, but objectively better. Calling this the "Dupli-Kate" tier because its a whole lot of clones.
  • KV-1S (4.0) - The KV-1 (3.7)'s older brother. Surprisingly, it is actually made of less stallinium. You lose frontal armor, and exchange it for a better gun and 10km/h more top speed. On paper I think oh :/ but in practice it's just better. No more "damn no pen" when you shoot an enemy. My statsharkdotcom rating with it is 2100, with a 76% win rate, and 2.57 K/D. Both of those stats blow every other tank I've played with out of the water. Objectively, personally, is is the best tank I've played with I guess. I do sometimes get mildly annoyed when my port gets 1 tapped, because that doesn't really happen with the KV-1, but the numbers don't lie Samoa Joe, and they spell disaster for you.
  • T-34 (1942 and 1941) (4.0) - Another big brother from the 3.3 T-34 counter part. But two of them. I don't have much to say here, they play similar to the KV-1S with an ounce of more speed, and slightly less armor again. The gun still goes boom, you'll 1 hit most things if you have a lick of aiming skill.
  • T-34 STZ (4.0) - Ditto, but slightly more armor than the other two T-34's. This entire tier is a whole lot of the same, which is why it's better than 3.7, because you've just got more proverbial "tank ammo" to go to battle with.
  • Yak (4.0) - Whichever 4.0 Yak you wanna go with. You're fine rocking the 3.3 planes too here, who cares, you don't have USA CAS potential so whatever works for now. You could rock the Yak-9K with the 45mm gun but I wouldn't recommend uptiering your entire tank lineup just for a plane imo, but you do you twin.
4. Japan Aircraft
  • Ki-44-II hei (3.7) - This plane made me add planes to this guide because it's so much fun. I always hated prop RB but this is a game changer. A zero that can out-turn anything with 4x .50 cals with 1000 rounds, and a powerful engine. It doesn't seem fair. I think my K/D right now is 27-6 with it. Out-turn, out-gun, and out-gain. This plane is broken.

Solid. but germany 6.7 should never be taken IMO for the team-mates alone.
