Choose Your Hunter Wisely: Each Hunter has unique abilities and playstyles.
Razorside: A versatile all-rounder suitable for beginners. Razorside excels in balanced combat, offering reliable offensive and defensive capabilities.

Fenris: A stealthy assassin specializing in burst damage. Fenris uses an Area-of-Effect cannon and a blink ability for quick escapes or surprise attacks.

Weaver: A defensive powerhouse equipped with deployable shields and a heavy minigun. Weaver is ideal for holding choke points and providing cover for teammates.

Heartbreaker: Focused on long-range precision, Heartbreaker is perfect for players who prefer sniping and tactical positioning.

Colossus (Special Kit): Not a standard Hunter but a summonable mech with devastating melee attacks, available through legendary pods.

Carefully select your Hunter based on your preferred playstyle and team composition to maximize effectiveness in matches.
Understand the System Tree
Focus on unlocking passive abilities early in the tech tree to gain significant advantages over opponents.
Gameplay Tips
Loot Efficiently:

Collect cores to boost health, shields, and damage stats.

Prioritize red and blue loot for better upgrades.

Level Up Strategically:

Engage drones and towers to gain XP and unlock secondary abilities at level 3.

Use Cover and Terrain:

Stay behind cover to avoid unnecessary damage.

Take advantage of destructible environments to create new paths or block enemies.

Master Mobility:

Use dashes (Control key) to close gaps, break line of sight, or escape dangerous situations.

Avoid Stronger Enemies:

Check enemy levels via radar or TAB menu before engaging. If outmatched, retreat and regroup.
Combat Strategies
Know Your Opponent:

Avoid fighting Weaver in choke points when its shield is deployed—it’s one-sided, allowing Weaver to shoot through while you cannot.

Play Safe After Respawn:
Focus on scavenging repair kits or drones for health before re-engaging in fights.

Endgame Tactics:

Hide near extraction zones (red/yellow areas) during the final showdown to position yourself advantageously.
Advanced Tips
Colossus Kit: Legendary pods can grant access to the Colossus—a powerful mech with devastating abilities like one-shot melee attacks. Avoid fighting it directly; retreat if summoned by an opponent.

Team Synergy: Pair Hunters with complementary abilities (e.g., tank + healer) for better survival chances in duo matches.
HAVE FUN
Most importantly, have fun. It's what's all about :)

Incomplete guide, (especially for those of us who actually did the closed beta would expect to see), but a good effort. I hope to see this updated and more detailed so new players have a better guide to follow over time.

Hey and thanks for the guide!

For all who are wondering, how to obtain gear: it apparently drops in higher level games, found a dev comment that mentioned it can drop ingame starting from hunter level 11.
