  1. Start with a bane card that can't be removed
  2. When using authority points to convert to another resource, lose 2 stability instead of 1
  3. Before this difficulty, you restore 1 oxygen and 1 stability at the start of the turn. After this, you don't restore any.
  4. Ship starts at 30% hp
  5. Base cost for revealing events is 2/3/4 instead of 1/2/3
  6. Increased probability of getting silver/gold/platinum crises (how much? unknown)
  7. 4 cards will not be sold. You do not know which ones, so you may need to buy lower quality cards rather than sticking with the ones you like best, because they may never appear. Once a card appears in the shop, you can be sure it'll appear again... eventually.
  8. Cards cost 6/10/14/18 instead of 4/8/12/16
  9. All crises cost 1 more resource to resolve, except ones that ONLY use authority points. Cards that can be resolved using either authority points or another resource have both increased by 1.
  10. You get fewer upgrades/removals/card rewards from resolving events. If a card shows a reward you still get it, there will just be less that have rewards overall.
  11. Restore 6 energy instead of 12 at the start of the day, which means you can only play 3 cards on average per turn
  12. Reduced chance of seeing silver/gold/platinum cards in the store
  13. Start at 50% oxygen
  14. Start at 50% stability, which means 13% chance of getting a bane every turn, and they'll probably be Petition (1 auth, support) or Political Opponent. If it decreases more, you start getting Riots (and then Terrorism at around 25%), which is often game-ending in the early game.
  15. Each turn, you get AP for each card without support that you didn't play the previous turn; on this difficulty, that AP gets cut in half (rounded down). E.g. if you have 5 cards in hand, you'll only get 2 AP at the start of the next day.
  16. You lose the game if you don't finish within 300 days
