How to load Season 1 save file

If non of the described ways in the ingame guide about loading S1 save file into S2 doesn't work for you, here is what worked out for me:
Go into 'Steam/steamapps/common/Projekt Passion/game/saves' and copy the save you made in the end of season when game told you to do so.
Then go to the 'Steam/steamapps/common/Projekt Passion - Season 2/game/saves' and paste it there. Here you go. Now load and enjoy Season 2! Though take note the save file will appear in the same slot you copied it from, for example, if your S1 save file was on the page 11, it will be on page 11 in S2 too.

No. S1 and S2 have separate Codexes.
Sync Gallery buttone is a weird tool which made to fix the bug when your gallery entrances are only avialable to you if you either triggered them manualy or synced them in your current save file

What about the codex? Are all the scenes from S1 imported over? I tried the Sync Gallery button but that didn't appear to do anything.
