"i drew all the characters from the game, (well you know the one i didnt draw(bc spoilers), if you know, lets just say!)
i really enjoyed the game and wanted to draw a cute collage with all the animal friends you made along the way + the other guys and ofcourse the main character.
for the composition i drew the characters sizes relevant to how relevant they were in the story, so that why the main character is so big and the dog is secondarily big, and so forth. Also if you pay close attention you may notice that from left to right it is roughyl in order of them appearing in the game! which fits because you play the game by traveling from the left to the right! for the background i made a lot of triangles with some colors, they are very fitting in terms of the game and the way it plays out due to the fact that they peak at left and bottom is at right, so you could go downwards from the top of the triangle towards the right! it adds to the composition of the piece and also fits with the game once again, it even can be seen as pointing towards the right almost!. the colors of the triangles also make sense in the game, as most are brown which is just like the game which is mostly black and white + brownish colors. this piece is supposed to be colorfol and happy so therefore the brown represents the largest part of the game. but the green then represents the safer areas like in the forest/ the abandoned areas and also the ocean where you can chill and relax for a minute. finally the yellow represents the goodness in the game, in this game yellow = good and bright white lightsources= danger, so the bright yellow triangles at the right there are like an embodyment of the nice things in the game which propel you to keep going forwards!
i even added some shadows underneath all the characters to make them feel more grounded, and for the main character i even added some shading which i feel really makes him feel more lively and even more threedimensional.
