1.

First things first, we need a base template to align everything correctly. The ideal format is 1:1, so the template has a resolution of 8192x8192. Download it and load it into inZOI to apply it to a clothing item. Simple as that!

2.

After importing the texture, you’ll notice it won’t look perfect right away. The trick here is to adjust the Pattern Scale to at least 90. Different clothing pieces have different layouts, so some might require even higher values.

But be aware: the higher the scale, the blurrier the texture might become. Keep testing until you find the sweet spot!

Important Tip: If you try to create a clothing item from scratch in the "Create" tab of CAZ, it’s much harder to prevent texture repetition. If you want to avoid headaches, it’s easier to pick a blank clothing item in the "Clothing" tab and edit it from there.

3.

Now for the fun part! Open your favorite image editor (I personally use Photoshop) and start designing your pattern. The goal is to align elements exactly as you want, using the in-game squares as a reference.

Step-by-step:

1 - Create your design in an image editor.

2 - Import it into the game and check the alignment.

3 - Adjust as many times as needed until it looks perfect!

Conclusion
And that’s it! Now you have a step-by-step guide to making awesome clothes without that annoying repetitive effect. Try it out and let me know if it worked for you! ❤️️
