Intro
A Guide to all the Achievements in Two Point Museum, with some tips/tricks I hope are helpful.

The Achievements that follow the Game Quest objectives are currently a bit bare bones, I'm working on more explanations/step by step, but I don't have this complete yet.

If anyone has any suggestions/additions let me know and I can add them in!
Buzz/Quality Notes
Some quick info about Buzz/Exhibit Quality as they can affect a number of Achievement objectives

Buzz
Buzz is obtained from viewing Exhibits and Interactive displays. To increase Buzz, here are some general tips:
  • Have higher quality exhibits.
  • Ensure your Exhibits are fully decorated and their Buzz Bonuses are met
  • Use speakers to increase the buzz of Exhibits
    • nb make sure you set the audio to the correct theme in the item menu.
  • Install perks that increase Exhibit Buzz
  • Run tours that include Exhibits with high buzz
  • Use marketing campaigns to increase the Buzz of your museum/exhibits
  • Place 'Judgement Clouder' Exhibits (Custom Contraption, blueprints found at the Chemical Labs on in Bungle Burrows) around your museum and set them to increase Buzz

Quality

Each Exhibit can be Average, Great, Epic or Pristine. The higher quality an Exhibit is, the greater Buzz it gives off.
When sending out an Expedition the base Quality of an Exhibit can be of a maximum Quality determined by the Survey level.
Nb - this is the maximum quality, the Exhibit can still be lower than this.
  • Survey 1: Great
  • Survey 2: Epic
  • Survey 3: Pristine
To increase the Survey Level use Survey Scanner Cargo items, send Experts with Survey Skills training and/or send 'Detailed' expeditions.

Sending higher level staff appears to increase the likelihood of finding higher Quality Exhibits, but I'm not sure enough of this mechanic to be able to say how this works. If you're seeking Pristine exhibits and have a range of Staff options, I'd go for the higher level.

Events, Dilemmas and Length of Expedition can affect the possible Quality of the Exhibit Found.
  • Events
    • When setting up the Expedition, check the possible events that may occur. Depending on Staff level, training, season or Cargo Items, Events can be negated or become possible.
  • Dilemmas
    • Sometimes an Expedition will encounter a Dilemma, depending on your choice these can affect the Quality of the Exhibit.
  • Length
    • Detailed Expeditions take a longer time to complete, however will increase the Exhibit Quality by 1.

An example of how these can interact
An expedition is sent to a Point of Interest with Survey 2, allowing an Epic Exhibit to be found.
An Event causes it to lose a level in Quality to a Great Exhibit.
The Expedition was Detailed, increasing the Quality back to Epic.
Skill & Bones

  • Complete a Dinosaur Bones Exhibit

Dinosaur Bones Exhibits are found in pieces, and each subsequent expedition to the Point of Interest that finds more Bones will add them to the exhibit. Once one has been completed, it will start a new one. Dinosaur Bone Exhibits are not findable at different levels of Quality, instead the quality increases as you Complete the Skeleton.

The first Point of Interest where you can find Dinosaur Bones is Rib Row, although you could Complete this goal with any skeleton from any location.

To unlock Rib Row
  • Complete 2 expeditions to Greasy Fields
  • Display 150 total Buzz
The first two Dino Bones exhibits you can find are the Bouldadillo and the Sharpontops.
The Bouldadillo requires two parts, and the Sharpontops three.Keep sending expeditions to find a complete skeleton!
Nb - as they are partial exhibits, the quaility you find will not affect the Exhibit, and so Detailed Expeditions/Increased Survey level will not have an impact.

Rising Star

  • Complete Chapter 1 of Memento Mile Museum
To achieve this, get your first star in Memento Mile Museum, the goals are pretty self explanatory, but I've detailed them below

Objective
How to Complete
Buy a Helipad
The museum comws with one already - don't sell it!
Best Visit: 100 Buzz
Each guest gains Buzz from their interactions during their visit. Exhibits have a base level of Buzz, which can be increased by increasing their decoration and meeting their 'Buzz Bonus' (seen on the middle tab once you click on the exhibit). Some Buzz bonuses may require decorations/items you have not yet researched, you can still display the exhibit though.
Ensure your museum has enough exhibits with enough buzz - some guests may leave before they see all your exhibits, so the more the better!
Sell 50 tickets
Make sure you've hired administrators who can work at the ticket booths to sell tickets.
Display 250 total Buzz
The museum need to have enough exhibits/interactive displays that the total Buzz is 250, higher quality exhibits have naturally higher buzz, and going on Detailed expedition increases the quality of the exhibit by 1, so this can be a good way to increase your Buzz. Send your Experts out on Epeditions to get enough Exhibits to reach 250.
Reach Museum Level 5
Museum level is affected by the Buzz of the Exhibits on display, and the ranks of your staff. Keep finding new exhibits and giving your staff experience to reach level 5.
Mint Condition

  • Discover a Pristine Quality exhibit on an expedition.
Quick tips:
  • Negate events that would decrease Exhibit Quality
  • Send Staff/Cargo that will allow Events that would increase Exhibit Quality
  • Send Detailed Expeditions
See the more detailed Quality explanation at the beginning of this guide for more information about quality.
Ex-plorer

  • Lose a staff member on an expedition.
Any MIA event on an exhibition can cause a staff member to be lost, ensure you are not negating it due to Staff Training/Level.

Healing Holiday

  • Cure an illness or injury by sending staff on an expedition to Remedial Springs.
Once a staff member has contracted an illness/injury, send them to the Remedial Springs (Bone Belt) POI to be cured.
Map Reader

  • Unlock 25 expedition points of interest (POIs)
Progress through the campaign to unlock Points of Interest. Each one will have a goal that you can pin to focus on unlocking. There are more than 25 points of interest on the Bone Belt Map alone.
Nb - I'm aiming to update this with a list of the easiest/quickest to unlock POI's
Absolutely Buzzing

  • Have a guest reach 2,000 Buzz.
Guests will naturally reach higher levels of Buzz as your Museum increases in Size/Level

Some Tips:
  • Have many high quality exhibits in your museum
  • Run tours with high Buzz
  • Ensure your exhibits are well decorated and their Buzz bonuses are met
  • Use speakers (set to the correct theme) to enhance the Buzz of exhibits.
  • Use Judgement Clouders (Custom Contraptions) to increase the Buzz of exhibits.
  • Run Marketing Campaigns to increase the Buzz of exhibits.
  • Install Perks that Increase the Buzz of Exhibits.

Directly to Jail

  • Catch a thief who has stolen an exhibit.
Once an exhibit has been stolen, have a Security Guard catch them and return the exhibit.

Some Tips
  • Place Security Archways, Chairs and Cameras around your museum to catch thieves.
  • When a thief has been spotted pick up a Security Guard and place them next to the thief (sometimes the guard assigned to catch them can be the other side of the museum).
  • Keep an eye out for the 'whirlwind' animation of a Thief changing their outfit from a guest, or the vacuuming animation of the thieves guns.
Made Them Yourself

  • Complete 20 Workshop Projects.
Once unlocked, use the workshop to make 20 items.
  • The Survey Scanner can be built for $2,500, so for $50,000 you can complete this Achievement
Product Placement

  • Earn $10,000 from Sponsored exhibits.
Sponsorships can be found in the Finances tab. Accept offers and place the item in your Museum.

Nb- I've found when loading into a museum/moving Sponsorship items, sometimes Sponsorship page thinks I haven't accepted the offer, and so I don't receive the payments I should. Keep an eye on your sponsored items, and if guests are viewing them but no money amout appears above their heads indicating payment, check the Sponsorship tab under Finances.
Perked Up

  • Install 3 perks on a single exhibit.
A Pristine Exhibit is required to install perks, once you have one in your museum, click on it to install perks.
Further perk slots are opened once the previous perk has been installed.
Fully Customized Contraption

  • Have a level 3 Custom Contraption, Science exhibit.
Tips:
  • Increase Custom Contraption Levels by completing their optional goals.
  • Many of the early contraptions can be levelled simply by having guests view them. The Spa point (I believe) is the easiest, initially only needing 15 guests to view it to reach level 2.
  • Once you have reached level 3 for a contraption, build and place the exhibit.
nb - I am working on a list of all Custom Contraptions/their build costs/objectives to increase their level, once this is completed I will add it in here.
Plant Food

  • Have a guest be eaten by a Chomper Pit exhibit.
Steps
  • Unlock the Chomper Jungle (Bone Belt)
  • Send Expeditions and find the Chomper Pit.
  • Place in your museum and guests will be eaten by it.
Uncommon Knowledge

  • Reach 30 Enlightenment for any theme.
As you find and analyse Exhibits you will increase your enlightenment.
If you are focusing on this goal, pick the theme whose museum you have progressed the furthest, and continue finding/analysing Exhibits.

Nb - this one is fairly self-explanatory, if I can think of an easy way to focus/speed this up I will add it in
Fishes (Plural)

  • Have 10 fish born at your museum.
Once you have reached Two stars on Passwater Cove you will be able to breed fish.

Place two fish of the same species (without the 'Big Fish' trait) in an Aquarium with the Egg Cup decoration and they will breed.
Exhibition Expert

  • Earn a gold trophy in an Exhibition Mode pop-up museum.
There are Three base-game Exhibition Pop-ups and one extra if you have Explorer Edition
A general tip for all of these - take all the loans, re-arrange the exhibits to be closer to each other, and if you have time, you can build Workshops to make additional Interactive Exhibits.

County Archives: Security Exhibition
  • Receive $22,500 donations while protecting the exhibits from being stolen.
Tips:
  • Move all your exhibits into the same area, I tend to use the space occupied by the bones and plants initially.
  • Hire as many security as you can, place cameras everywhere.
  • When a thief is detected, pause, then pick up/drop a security guard on them, rather than waiting for them to respond.
  • Add in tours to increase guest experience and make the museum free - you're only there for a year and don't need the income but guests like it being good value.
  • I usually Zone the ticket booth area and place 3-4 Security there to catch theives as they enter and be ready to pick up/drop elsewhere if needed.
  • Decrease the number of loos, place cameras/security archways outside to catch Boggymen.
  • Golden Molers come up as 'Guest Archetype' on their guest type, so when they're targeting you, put the game in slow speed, watch the guest list and find them as soon as they pop up.
  • In the top-down view, if you can fit all the exhibits into one screen, you should be able to see if anyone changes outfit/starts using the vacuum gun.

Elementary Shoal: Fish Farm Exhibition
  • requires $100,000 gained from farming fish.
Tips:
  • Meet the Bonus Objectives for more fish
  • Build a Workshop and make nets to increase fish caught on expeditions
  • Send expeditions to get fish that will breed, use nets to get two of a species, target Points of Interest that only give fish.
  • Remember that fish will be sold once farmed, so you will only get large breeding populations if you catch them yourself.
  • Make sure all fish are in aquariums large enough for them to have room to breed.

Remote Rock: Marketing Exhibition

  • Requires generating 80,000 Guest Buzz
Tips:
  • Build as many marketing rooms as you can and hire/train as many staff as possible.
  • Generate extra buzz by running high Buzz tours and ensuring exhibits are well decorated/Buzz Bonuses are met.
  • Build a workshop and build Interactive Displays for extra Buzz.
  • Use speakers/perks to increase the Buzz of Exhibits.
  • Set the marketing campaigns to auto-renew.

Explorer Edition Only

Plywood Island: Explorer Exhibition
  • Requires finding a specific Exhibit within 1,080 days
Tips:
  • Take the loan and buy a second helipad.
  • Start by checking/pinning the Unlock Objectives for the Obstructions
    • Curtain Corner: Museum rating above 55%
    • Toxic Traps: Display 5 Prehistory Exhibits
    • Pain Forest: Turn a quarterly profit over $5000
    • Crumbling Plumet: Run a tour with a rating over 4.0
  • Also focus on levelling up your staff as the Troll temple requires Level 4 staff - Prehistory Expert, Botany Expert, Security Guard x2 and Janitor.
Everything for Everyone
  • Display an exhibit from 6 different themes in one museum.
Here are some Points of Interest that are easy to visit to obtain Exhibits. The first table contains Points of Interest by theme, then I have listed the Points of Interest that are unlocked on the same map as each Museum.

Nomenclature

  • Give a fish exhibit a custom name.
Click on any fish's name to change it.
Two Point Museum

  • Complete Chapter 5 of the Memento Mile museum.
This one is pretty self explanatory, complete the Objectives and level up your Museum.
I'm working on a detailed list of exactly what you need, but this is still a work in progress.
The Anomalonians

Fancily Dressed Five

  • Have 5 visiting children wearing onesies of 5 different themes at the same time.
Tips:
  • Guests will only buy items once they have enough desire to do so.
  • Have exhibits from at least 5 themes and place gift shops selling themed onesies nearby.
  • The Scent Situator (Unlocked through progressing the Bungle Wasteland Museum) can be set to increase guest desire to visit a gift shop.
  • If you do not have enough families visiting, run Marketing campaigns to attract them.
Science Museum

Prehistory Mystery

  • Activate a Prehistory Mystery exhibit.
To activate Prehistory Mysteries, place activated Astral Anomalies with matching Symbols within range (Celestial Cells are activated as standard)
    • The first/easiest to complete is Lone Henge, it can be found at Spoony Dunes (Bone Belt) and activated with a Triangular Celestial Cell, found in Two Point Orbit (Known Universe).
For a more in depth guide to activating them, see my guide here
Qualified Opinion

  • Train a member of staff as much as possible.
Have a staff member reach level 20 and have every training slot be filled.

To reach level 20 staff need to gain XP. They can do so by completing their normal duties and going on expeditions.
Some tips:
  • Staff with the Bookworm trait gain XP faster.
  • Certain Illnesses will stop XP gain.
  • Install perks that increase XP during restoration.
  • Experts gain XP while they are analysing exhibits. If you don't upgrade your Analyser/add items that will increase speed, the Experts will earn more XP as they are taking longer.
  • Similarly the Workshop gives XP while working, so staff will gain more XP if you do not upgrade the Workbench/add items that increase speed.
  • Send staff on Expeditions with the Cargo Item Journal, which increases XP by 15%
  • Staff being cured of Illnesses/Curses will gain XP from these expeditions.

The following POI's give XP as Rewards

Mega Museum

  • Have a level 50 museum.
Progress through your Museum to reach level 50.

Museum levels are raised by the Buzz of exhibits and the level of staff.

Thaw & Order

  • Have a donation stand vandalized by a Defrosted Cave-Person.
Steps:
  • Find a Frozen Cave-Person from the Cold Mines (Bone Belt)
  • Place them away from any freezers and next to a donation stand
  • Let the exhibit melt and the newly freed Cave-Person will vandalise it
Tour de Force

  • Create a 5-Star tour.
Tours are affected by Buzz, Knowledge, Length, Cohesion and Decoration.

Total Length
Must be 'Perfect', ensure your exhibits are close to eachother (and you don't have any weird pathing that might affect this. If the dotted line showing the route is any colour other than blue, it is too long.
Buzz
A 5* tour needs 500+ Buzz from the Exhibits
Decoration
All exhibits must be fully decorated
Knowledge
All exhibits must be fully researched
Cohesion
All exhibits must be from the same Category and Sub-Category, such as Dinosaur Bones (Prehistory).
If you included a Frozen Find (Prehistory) on a Dinosaur Bone Tour, this would decrease your cohesion.

A more in depth guide to tours has been made by u/MrGlasses here
Silverbottom Reunion

  • Reunite Twiggy Silverbottom's expedition team in a single Polterguest Room.

Find and Reunite the four expedition members. To do this you will need Experts from a range of themes and to have progressed through Objectives in Multiple Museums.
