OK, this guide will be a headache but if you want the Dedication achievement it requires you to go to beta version this option is in the properties of the game menu on steam, it is right there.
Install it but before doing that back up your saves or you will lose them, learned that the hard way so you won't.
You need get the soul piece from the plant corpse alchemist.
Then get self-eater Sigil from throne, then go out then give up to lock things in.
Then go out of beta and go reinstall full version, before back up beta saves just in case, your beta save should be there.
Then start the full version game and play beta version save game, then don't look at the throne or anything just start a run and empty life-force and cast a spell and you will get this achievement.
