Kuvaus

Improves 'junkyard' vehicle zones with more wrecked vehicles and reduces burnt vehicle spawns for more realistic junkyards. B41/B42 compatible.

FAQ

What does this mod do?

This mod reduces the number of burned cars and adds smashed/crashed car models to areas zoned as 'junkyard'. The car models are the same versions found in the base game files used in the scenes found on roads/parking areas.

What maps does this mod work with?

This mod will change the behavior on any map using the 'junkyard' zone (parkingstall).

Does this mod work with other car mods?

Yes, cars from different car mods should have a chance of appearing in the junkyard zones, depending on how the car mod is setup. If mod cars appeared in your junkyards before, they should still have a chance of spawning with this mod enabled. This mod will not create crashed/smashed versions of car mod vehicles.

You should be ok adding to an existing save. If you already visited a 'junkyard' zone on your save, the vehicles will not change there. Any junkyards you haven't visited should spawn more wrecked cars.

when I see the Junkyards from afar they look full. But when I get coser most cars disappear, I don't know why.

Tried this on B41 and all that it did was remove most of the burnt out vehicles and replace with all vanilla vehicles. Was hoping to see some of K15's mods I have (which is alot) placed in the mix but none were. :(

It replaces the burnt frame models with damaged (usable or wrecked) cars from the same generic spawnlists that car mods modify, was the understanding I took from the description.

@Shiro The description doesnt say whether it adds the vanilla models, uses modded models, or replaces modded models with vanilla ones. There is no info about how this mod interacts with car mods lol, just how it interacts with vanilla cars.
