The amount of money you get from hitting a bug depends on the Buggy item level. When you hit a bug you get a "Splat" hit, which won't penalize your perfect streak. Be careful not to hit the board and get a "Bonk" hit which will stop your perfect streak.


The amount you can get from a cash plank depends on the Plank item level. When one spawns, the amount of money is decreased throughout 30 seconds.


Everytime you finish building a deck, you get a capital bonus. Depending on the Stocks item level, you can get more out of this. Every level gives a 10x of the randomized number of 2 - 3 rounded down to the nearest dollar.


Whenever you finish a nail (not a perfect nail) you get a bonus depending on the Nails item level.


When you do a "Perfect" hit on a nail, you get a Perfect bonus. This depends on the Hammer item level.


Whenever you finish a nail hitting all perfects, you get a perfect nail bonus that overrides the Nail Done bonus. This depends on the Plank item level. This is also multiplied by the nail streak after you finish doing that nail.


With every level put into the Hand item, the nails will take less hits to complete, and will dig more into the board on each hit.

With every level put into the Nails item, you will have a higher chance of Deviant Nails, which are the Alien nail, Bomb nail, Eager nail, Human nail, and Ominous nail.

Just a nail. Changes color based on nail level.

A see-through nail. You should not slam too hard (or too soft) on this nail, you'll get a "Crack" hit and lose money (based on the Perfect Nail bonus), low power hits will always be perfect.

A nail with a clover on it. When you get a perfect nail you get a +5x perfect nail streak.

An eager nail. Every hit will be perfect.

Here is the dialogue for the eager nail when appearing:

• I need you to just smack me with that thing.
  
• Hit me . . . clobber me!
  
• Go on . . . swing it. SWING IT.
  
• Give me a lovely bonk.
  
• Knock me right into this plank.
  
• Smang me right in the head.

Nail in a human. Hard hits are now "Oof" hits (Oof hits are the same as Okay hits). Hitting them gently will still give you a "Perfect" hit, and if you finish the nail with gentle hits you will get a "THANKS" bonus after the nail is done.

Here is the dialogue for the human nail when appearing:

• Please . . . don't hurt me. I'll give you everything I have.
  
• I will pay you to treat me tenderly.
  
• Only light taps for me, please. I'll make it worth your while.
  
• I am very precious. Please do not damage me.
  
• If you must hit me with that hammer . . . do so delicately. I'll give you all I have.

Here is the dialogue for the human nail when hitting the nail too hard:

• Oww! You'll never get my precious money now!
  
• You hurt me! You hurt a total stranger!
  
• Ouch! Ow! I won't give you a cent now!
  
• Too hard! You hit me too hard! No money!

A skull-headed nail that tells you ominous things.

Each time you encounter them, they will talk about an impending ominous event. Once you go through all the dialogue, the skull will be a goblin head. Hitting the nail will instantly finish the nail and give you a ~5-45x perfect nail streak.

Here is the dialogue for the ominous nail on all the stages:

1. There you are. I've been looking for you. We can't talk yet . . . It's not safe. Nail me in.
   
2. It's coming. Do you feel it? But it's not here yet. Hammer me.
   
3. Nearer, nearer . . . but not here yet. It's too dangerous.
   
4. We have to wait for the right moment . . . Hit me! Hasten me to the end!
   
5. Soon. The air is thick with it. Soon, soon.
   
6. Any moment now . . . God, I can feel it! It's nearly here!
   
7. NOW! NOW! HIT ME! NOW! IT IS THE TIME!

You hammer an alien in.

A bomb nail (New in "Season 2"). Hitting this nail will knock back your hammer a considerable amount.
