Twinbrook being one of the earlier towns to release it needed some updating to use more pack features. I went and updated the town with some new lots that made sense for the type of town Twinbrook is to make sure the unique feel and vibe of Twinbrook is kept in tact while updating it with some new things.

• Fixed a Routing issue were sims would walk across the lake in the centre of town to get to the beach lot. This was caused due to the lot not having any roads attached to the lot I fixed this by adding in some side walks.
  
• Made changes to some road types in town so it made more sense visually and lore wise for Twinbrook as its meant to be not as well off as other towns. No more side walks all the way to the old lookout that is in the middle of no where.
  
• Added in some other expansion pack lots that make sense for the location of Twinbrook.
  
• Fixed a spawner being placed in a place where sims are not able to go.
  
• Fixed Several un-linked roads.
  
• Hopefully fixed some lag caused by pets from the pets expansion pack in the swamp areas trying to cross small bodies of water with taxi boats.
  
• Added level skip markers to some lots with lots of floors to make it quicker to go down levels in these lots.
  
• Added in mosquito spawners around the world were they would make sense.
  
• Gave a makeover to some of the already existing community lots.

Lot Description: This abandoned shack has been around for generations the locals are surprised to still see it standing since it has been abandoned for so long. Most locals have a saying "Its almost like its kept up with witch craft!" But some are suspicious. Rumour has it sometimes you see people entering but never leave... From a safe distance of course.

Lot Description: Rumours has it this was the refuge of the last three Twinbrook witches from way back when, those just had to be old rumours on superstitions and paranoia... right?

Lot Description: Code Brew! Is what you will be yelling after you realise after your fifth coffee that there are no rest rooms!


Address: 99 Westlake Drive

Lot Description: Mossy Oak Family Park has all of the necessities for a great day out with the family! Barbecuing and a large playground in a big open space!

Lot Description: Riverside Road Exotic Club offers the best scene for performing and showing off! Whether its acrobatics, singing or a little magic this place is the place to perform!

The roads out of town to the look out now use different road textures than the vanilla road with side walks.



The Swamp Region has been extended a little to include a new lot.



The big military base is removed as its now also at city hall, but there is still a military presence in Twinbrook. Watch towers are watching something where the military base used to be.

When you have downloaded the world file it needs to be place at this location...

"Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads"

After the "Twinbrook Refresh.Sims3Pack" is placed in the downloads folder you will need to install in through the launcher.

A: No! The items will be replaced with base game items if they are not present but for the full experience they are recommended.

A: Information on how to install a Mods folder can be found HERE.

A: Unfortunately no, maybe in the future I might include a save file with all of the original families included.

A:Download the latest version of the world as now the world file has all of the lots present.

A: To fix this bug I enter Build/Buy Mode then back to live mode the objects will fix themselves after doing this. Easiest way is to have "testingcheatsenabled true" enabled then shift clicking the lot and then "Buy on this lot". Next enter live mode again.

  • Removed the mosquito spawners from the beach lot made as it harder to do life guarding with all of those mosquitoes around.
    
  • Lowered the amount of mosquito spawners on some lots as it was a few too many... (opps)
    
  • Fixed an oversight in the Twinbrook library were there were no bookshelves that will spawn with skills books in it, this was a vanilla issue.
    
  • Fixed an issue where some Yoga matts were not showing up at the gym.
    
  • Fixed the front of the lot location for "Tacky Token Arcade" sims will now go directly to the front door instead of running up the side of the building then into the front entrance.

  You will need to uninstall the older version of the world through the launcher before installing the new one, older save files made in older versions may not be compatible. Backup saves the launcher will delete save files if their world is uninstalled.
