Eastward Wings (Unlock all other achievements)
Well, well, look at you! If you’re reading this, you’re aiming for the big one – the badge of honor, the crown jewel, the “I have no life” trophy (just kidding... or am I?).

To unlock The Wilds' Finest, you’ll need to snag every single other achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds. That means farming golden crowns and collecting shiny rocks at 2 AM and probably losing your sanity to RNG somewhere along the way.

But hey, once it pops, you’ve officially joined the ranks of the elite hunters. Wear it with pride, flex on your friends, and enjoy the satisfaction of knowing you’ve squeezed every drop of content from the game.

Pro tip? Just… don’t give up.

Completed your first investigation

After Chapter 4, you’ll unlock the ability to create Investigations.

Here’s how it works:

Open the map, select a large monster and create a quest by pressing "Save as Investigation".
You’ll need 100 - 300 Guild Points, nothing that'll break the bank.
Once saved, head over to Alma and your Investigation will be waiting.
Complete it, and boom – achievement done!

Investigations often reward you with better loot, bonus rewards, and sometimes even rare materials compared to standard hunts. So if you’re farming specific monsters or materials, this is your ticket to faster progress. You can repeat each investigation up to three times!

Completed your first side mission

Time to be the friendly neighborhood hunter! For this achievement, you just need to complete your first side mission.

Here’s how to find them:

Keep an eye out for the yellow version of the main mission icon (instead of the usual red one). You’ll spot these either directly in your surroundings (floating above NPCs) or marked clearly on your map. On the world map, hover over each locale and if there’s something to do, you’ll see “[X Character] wants to talk to you!” – a sure sign that a side mission is waiting.

Once you pick one up, it’s usually something simple like gathering materials, hunting specific monsters, or helping out the locals. Finish it, report back, and the achievement is yours!

Keep in mind that some missions may not pop up, if youre looking at them at the wrong time. Many of the missions only spawn during the day.

Many side missions aren't just for completionists - they often unlock items, baits, equipment, cosmetics and gestures, as well as upgrading your Palico, or unlock villigers.

Successfully fished for the first time

Time to swap your Chargeblade for a fishing rod! This achievement unlocks once you catch your first fish – and it’s super easy:

Head to the base camp of Scarlet Forest after unlocking it. Look for Kanya hanging out near the back of the camp, right next to the pond. Talk to her for the first time, and she’ll unlock the fishing mechanic and give you a quick rundown on how it works. Then, all you have to do is grab your fishing gear and catch any fish from the pond right next to her. And just like that– achievement unlocked and you’re officially a hunter-angler hybrid. Congrats!

Exploiting wounds is one of the most overpowered mechanics in the game, so I’d be surprised if you needed help with this one. But just in case, here’s a quick rundown!

First, attack the monster with regular strikes until wounds appear somewhere on its body. You can easily spot them by entering focus mode with L2/LT - they glow red for regular wounds or blue for tempered wounds. Caught a creature that bears an ancient Wyvern coin

This one is pretty simple. The easiest way to get it is by setting up a camp behind the waterfall in Area 8 of the forest. Right next to your new base, you'll find a fishing pier. The Curioshell crab spawns right there, so grab your net and catch it!

If it doesn’t appear on your first try, fret not! Simply travel to another map and return to your Area 8 base. Repeat the process until it spawns. It’s not too rare, so this should be easy.

Caught a creature in the desert that shines like a shooting star

DISCLAIMER: If you don’t want to repeat this process, (and trust me, you don't) be sure to continue with your sidequests until you need to catch this monstrosity for Samin and Dareel at the Windward Plains’ Base Camp.

Preperation:
First, we recommend building a camp in the Windward Plains in Area 13. From there, take a rest and set the options to "Plenty" and "Nighttime". This is crucial for making our target spawn.

Our target is incredibly fast and must be caught using the Capture Net, which is not only slow but also has a very short range. While it’s possible to catch the target with just the net, we can make things easier. Take Screamer Pods with you to help out.

The next step is to head to the location marked in the next screenshot. If the Sandstar isn't there, simply travel to a different map, then return to the Area 14 camp and repeat the process until it spawns.

It’s quite rare, so it might take several attempts to find it. Don’t give up, though - this strategy is guaranteed to work. After what will likely be a lengthy search, you’ll eventually find it, and it will look like this:

Once you’ve found it, don’t panic. Even if it runs away at first, it will always wait for you.

Throw a Screamer Pod to confuse it for about 3 seconds. During this time, you’ll need to catch it with your Capture Net.

In the best case, you’ll have just finished a "cool" side quest and unlocked a "cool" achievement! #EpicWin

Fishing for Whoppers – How the Minigame Works
First things first: regular fish? Easy – hook, reel, done. But Whoppers? They play dirty. If you already know how Whopper fishing works, feel free to skip ahead to the achievement section below! But if you’re new to Monster Hunter Wilds fishing, here’s what you need to know to avoid rage-quitting at your first big catch.

Step 1: Choosing the right bait
  • Every fish can technically bite on any bait, but using the correct one massively increases your chances. (Check out the bait list under the A-fish-ionado achievement section later in this guide!)
Step 2: Casting and triggering a bite
  • Cast your line near the Whopper.
  • Now you can do two things to trigger a bite faster:
  • Jig the bait left and right.
  • (Better option): tap the line to "tug" it backwards – this seems to work faster!
Step 3: The Minigame – tiring out the fish
Once the Whopper bites, press R2/RT (the normal small fish reel-in button) to start the battle.

Now it’s all about reading the fish’s movements:
  • When the fish swims: tilt your stick to follow its movement direction. This tires it out.
  • When the fish stops: quickly spam the reel-in input (left stick up and down repeatedly) to pull it closer.
  • When the fish jumps: hold R2/RT and push your stick towards where the fish is looking.
Step 4: Repeat
Usually, it takes around 3–4 cycles of tiring, pulling, and reacting to jumps to land your Whopper.

Pro Tip:
Don’t brute-force it! Whoppers will snap your line if you ignore their patterns. Stay patient, keep your cool, and you’ll be reeling in those big boys like a pro.

Monster (Squid) Hunter
Caught a giant squid while fishing

This is one of the more frustrating achievements. First, you’ll need to complete Kanya’s side quest chain to unlock the Tentacle Jig - a task that will already test your patience. Next, we highly recommend equipping a ranger decoration to improve your fishing odds.

The squid (along with the other whoppers needed for the next achievement) all spawn in the forest, specifically in Area 17. To make things easier, we highly recommend setting up a camp there for quicker access.

To get squids to spawn, rest at a camp with the settings set to "Plenty" and "Nighttime" - this gives you the best chance of finding them.

Finally, hook that stubborn thing! Squids are incredibly picky and rarely take the bait, so make sure you fully understand the fishing minigame for whoppers, mentioned above, before attempting this. Remember to equip the Tentacle Jig!

Reeled in 30 whoppers while fishing

Alright, time to dive into one of the few grindier achievements – but hey, don’t lose your patience on this one! To reel in 30 Whoppers, head straight to Area 17 in Scarlet Forest. This is your Whopper hotspot.

Make sure to equip the Ranger Decoration (like we mentioned earlier in the Monster (Squid) Hunter achievement). It’ll make the whole process a lot easier.

From here, it’s basically the same setup:
  • Same location
  • Same camp nearby
  • Same fishing minigame mechanics we broke down earlier (yes, the tugging, the chasing, the jumping fish drama – all of it. 30 times.)

Whopper list

To make this whole grind as painless as possible, here’s a handy Whopper list featuring every big fish in the game, their best bait, and when/where they love to hang out. We’ve even included photos of what each one looks like while swimming – so no excuses for hooking the wrong fish!

Our recommendation?
Focus on Gajau, Gastronome Tuna, and Great Trevally – last one is a bit hard to see, but these guys are way more chill to catch. If you run out of fish just take a rest at the camp to respawn them!

Avoid the Squid, because that guy treats your bait like a background niose. Don't take it personally.
And Speartuna? Yeah, feels like you're fishing for a Yian Kut-Ku – always jumping around and never staying put.

Whirlpool Hotspots
If you spot a whirlpool with birds circling above it – just like the one in this screenshot – that’s your signal to get ready.

Cast your bait right into the center of that whirlpool and keep tugging the line. Even if you don’t see them immediately, there’s a high chance at least two or three Whoppers are swimming around just beneath the surface. These whirlpools are basically nature’s way of saying, “Hey, free Whoppers here!” – don’t ignore them!

Established Pop-up Camps in 10 places

This one’s nice and easy – no monsters to slay, just some good old-fashioned base-building. Head over to any support desk at your base camp (you’ll spot the trusty Palico behind the counter). Select “Manage Pop-up Camps” from the menu. Now just click around and remotely set up camps at any available location. Most regions give you five camp slots (except Wyveria, which has four). Reached Hunter Rank 100

Reaching Hunter Rank 100 in Monster Hunter Wilds is a grind, but with the right approach, you can speed up the process significantly. First and foremost, complete the main story, as your Hunter Rank will be capped until you progress far enough to unlock rank limit removals. Once that's done, focus on high-reward hunts such as Apex predators, Tempered Monster Investigations, Multi-Monster Hunts, and Event Quests, as these provide the most Hunter Rank experience in the shortest amount of time.

Efficiency is key, so make sure you're using optimized gear suited for the monsters you're farming. Weapons that deal high DPS, elemental weaknesses, and a steady supply of potions and traps will drastically reduce hunt times. If you want to grind even faster, multiplayer is your best friend - joining online hunts or SOS flares allows you to take down monsters quickly and move on to the next hunt without wasting time.

Another useful trick is the resting system, which resets available quests and can help you cycle through Emergences and Investigations that give high rewards. If you're also working on the Crown Hunting achievement, this is a great way to combine both goals, as repeated monster hunts naturally boost your HR over time.

As you progress, you’ll gather plenty of materials - selling unnecessary loot at the trader can provide a steady income to upgrade your gear, further improving your hunting efficiency. Ultimately, patience is essential. Instead of focusing solely on the grind, try to enjoy the process, experiment with new weapons, and take on more challenging hunts for fun. Before you know it, you'll hit Hunter Rank 100 and prove yourself as a true veteran of Monster Hunter Wilds. Happy hunting!

Although you’d normally unlock this achievement naturally, Selnar pointed out in the comments that your Palico sometimes disappears in multiplayer. This happens when there are 3 or more hunters in the mission. (Not that we noticed—since we both only have one friend anyway, lol.)

If you play the entire story and every side quest solo, you’ll rack up 81 missions with your Palico by default. But if you still need to farm this and don’t want to miss out on playing with a friend, set the maximum room size to 2. You can change this under Settings after talking to Alma.

Obtained an Artian Weapon of Rarity 8

To craft Artian Weapons, we first need to gather the necessary materials. And if we’re aiming for a Rarity 8 weapon, we’ll have to tackle some of the toughest quests in the game - at least, as of now. These challenging missions include:
  • Tempered Gore Magala
  • Tempered Arkveld
  • Tempered Ray Dau
  • Tempered Nu Udra
  • Tempered Uth Duna
  • Tempered Jin Dahaad
You can simply rest until one of these quests appears and then save it as an Investigation. However, before diving in, double-check the quest rewards to make sure they include the weapon parts you need! (See screenshot 2)

Once you've gathered enough parts (which could take one quest or ten - good luck!), head over to Gemma to craft your Rarity 8 Artian weapon. For the achievement it doesnt matter how good it is. Any combination of parts will do!

Obtained 10 different special items of Rarity 6

Now, let me get something off my chest first. We completely underestimated this achievement, and it ended up being one of the last ones we completed. Guess what? That was a costly mistake. This achievement will take a lot of time, luck, and especially Guild Points. We highly recommend combining this achievement with your crown hunt and any other activity that requires a lot of resting.

This achievement requires you to hunt down 10 very rare materials that sometimes spawn in the overworld. If that sounds a bit vague, well, that's because it is. But! There is one thing you can do to increase your odds: get the Setskill "Forager's Luck", which boosts the chance of finding rare gathering points. There are quite a few pieces of armor that will grant you this perk as soon as you equip 3 pieces of it:

There are a total of 11 different Rarity 6 items to choose from, meaning you can only skip one. Let luck decide which one won’t show up for you!
But let’s start with the ones that don’t require that much luck - though, unfortunately, there aren’t many of those. You also need to be HR20 or higher and have tempered monsters unlocked to be able to do this achievement.

Nightflower Pollen
This plant only spawns at night in the Windward Plains during a full moon. It can be quite annoying to wait for that naturally, so here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get it without any trial and error:

1) Travel to Windward Plains, rest until evening and set the option to Plenty
2) Fully restart the game to reset the world to a full moon
3) Fast travel to the Area 10 camp
4) Wait for it to become nighttime, and it will definitely bloom
5) Collect from one of the gathering points in the plains

Sorry guys, this exploit was removed with Title Update 1. Thank you to Soul and Potato for pointing that out. Gotta do it manually until another trick is found.

Queensbloom Pollen
Next stop: the Scarlet Forest! Start by resting and setting the options to "Evening" and "Plenty". This will give you a high chance for the Queen Rafflesia to spawn.
Check your journal or map and use the filters to see if it has appeared. While it has a high chance to spawn, it’s not guaranteed. If it didn’t show up, repeat the resting process. If it did, head over and gather it!

Wyvernsprout
Now, we’re off to the Windward Plains! Technically, you can find Wyvernsprout anywhere, but it’s much easier here.

To get it, you’ll need to kill small monsters, let their corpses rot for five minutes, and hope this peculiar fungus spawns on top of one of them. Disgusting? Absolutely. But hey, who are we to judge?

Start by resting and selecting "Plenty". The time of day doesn’t matter for this one.

Now, hunt down as many small monsters as possible. Look for purple dots on the map - if you see a cluster, that means there's a big horde nearby.

Slaughter them... WIPE THEM OUT!!!

The carcasses need to sit for five minutes before they turn into rotten carcasses. This is when the fungi might spawn.
Be quick when harvesting! The rotten carcasses only last for a minute before decaying into bones, taking the Wyvernsprout with them.

The remaining Emergence Rarity 6 Special Items

Eight Rarity 6 items for the Explorer of the Eastlands achievement spawn during rare Emergences.

To check for Emergences, open the World Map, select a location, and go to the third page of the Environmental Overview. If none are active, check other maps. This takes just seconds. If an Emergence is scheduled, use the timer scale to see how long until it appears (measured in real-time).

Resting resets all events rather than speeding up an upcoming Emergence, but it can help change the season to trigger one. If successful, it should appear within 20 minutes.

Resting gets expensive over time, and some Emergences can take ages to appear. Work smart, not hard - Start gathering them while farming crowns to save time!

Used the binoculars to spot a gold-crown large monster

This achievement is pretty simple and will actually teach you one of the core mechanics when it comes to crown hunting. First, grab your binoculars from your inventory. Then head over to the Windward Plains and look out for an Alpha Doshaguma – sometimes they spawn in packs, and you’ll see them marked clearly as Alpha Doshaguma on the map.

Sometimes event quests will also have a scripted giant or miniature version of a monster, but this method with the Alpha Doshaguma is way more consistent – no matter when you read this, it will always work, because Alpha Doshagumas ALWAYS spawn with a giant golden crown. So no RNG pain here. Just ride over, equip your binoculars, and stare at the big fluffy target.

The binoculars have a limited range of about 80 meters, but they let you spot monster sizes even through trees, rocks, and whatever else the terrain throws at you.

Here you can see a giant crown Alpha Doshaguma chilling right next to a miniature crown regular Doshaguma (how the hell this even happened, we have no idea – We’ve never been this lucky during crown farming). Anyways, after looking at the Alpha Doshaguma, the achievement will pop up!

Disclaimer
Before you dive into this section, grab a snack, a drink, and maybe a stress ball. The Giant Crown and Miniature Crown Master achievements are wild, and they’re gonna take a LOT of your time. We’re talking hours upon hours, and possibly a few moments where you’ll question your life choices. But hey, at least you’ll be a master at something... #GoodLuck

What is a golden crown?
Most monsters can spawn in different sizes. These achievements are about finding the smallest (miniature gold crown) and largest (giant gold crown) individuals of each monster. Consider checking "A Keen-eyed Observation" achievement above for more infos!

Giant Crown & Miniature Crown Achievements

We’re going to break it down into four categories of monsters to make it a bit more digestible (and because it's necessary):
  • Onesize Monsters – No crown hunting here, these monster cannot spawn in different sizes.
  • Standard Monsters – They’ll make up most of your crown grind.
  • Apex Predators – Collecting their crowns feels like an achievement in itself.
  • Guardian Monsters – Probably the most annoying part.

Onesize Monsters

The following monsters CANNOT spawn in any other size than their default, scripted one. That means no crown farming needed for these guys – Take this as a little mercy from the devs before they throw you back into the crown grind.

Standard Monsters

The best method for farming these Standard Monsters is camping out in the Wounded Hollow – your soon-to-be second home (whether you like it or not). Here’s how the grind goes:

  1. Start by sleeping at any base camp – Wyveria is a good pick. Morning and Plenty is perfectly fine.
  2. Every time you wake up, check the Wounded Hollow on your map. Every Standard Monster can spawn there.

  3. If you spot one you still need a crown for, fast travel to the Wounded Hollow.
  4. Once there, run straight to the edge of the platform and use your binoculars to size-check the monster. Sometimes it spawns further back, so you might have to jump down to get a clear view. We call this edging.

    Didn't get the crown?
Of corse not! Welcome to crown farming.

  5. Now fast travel to Suja – it’s directly below Wounded Hollow on the world map, and both locations only have one camp each. This makes shuffling between these two super fast.

  6. Back to the Wounded Hollow and... you guessed it – check again.

Repeat. Repeat. And REPEAT. Welcome to the loop. Unfortunately, the monsters won’t stay forever in the Wounded Hollow. After around 30 minutes, they’ll leave the arena, forcing you to reset your time by sleeping at Wyveria again.
Got the crown?
Jackpot! Save it as an Investigation, so you can hunt it later. If you’re lucky enough to find the opposite crown (giant or miniature) while still resetting, just hop into the arena, slay or capture it, and THEN load up the Investigation for the other crown.
Boom – monster complete!

Gold Crowns: Apex and Guardian Monster
Alright hunter, now we’re stepping it up a notch! Apex Predators and Guardian Monsters are a bit more annoying to crown farm than your average Standard Monsters. Here’s the drill:

  1. First, head to the monster’s specific region – you’ll find all Guardian Monsters spawning exclusively in Wyveria. The Apex Predators on the other hand have more variety, so check the table below for their specific regions and spawn environments.
    Icon
    Name
    Spawn Area
    Spawn Environment
    Uth Duna
    Scarlet Forest
    Inclemency
    Rey Dau
    Windward Plains

    Nu Udra
    Oilwell Basin

    Wyveria
    Guardian Rathalos
    Wyveria
    Guardian Ebony Odogaron
    Wyveria
    Guardian Fulgur Anjanath
    Wyveria

  2. Once you’re in the right spot, hit the sack and sleep until the desired environmental condition (Apex only). For Guardians, you can pick whatever – they’re not picky.
  3. Wake up and check the map. Did your target spawn? No? Back to sleep or try to get a better seed where multiple Guardians pop up at once – more monsters = more crown chances.

  4. Found them but no crown in sight?
Time for the magic trick: exit to the main menu without saving and reload the game.

The monsters that spawn after you sleep are scripted, BUT their size is rerolled every time you freshly load your save. So, rinse and repeat until those tiny or massive crowns finally shine!
Important Note:
If you manage to find a crown and save it as an Investigation, make sure to save your game afterwards. Unfortunately, you will save every monster with its existing size. Meaning you can just go back to sleep and restart the process.

Captured 50 monsters

First of all: do this achievement alongside other monster-hunting goals, like farming crowns or knocking out other hunt-based achievements.

Just swap the usual slay for a capture – it’s faster, cleaner, and still completes the quest. Plus, captures often net you more rewards in the post-hunt screen. Why work harder when you can work smarter, right?

Catching Monsters

To catch 50 monsters, we need to cover the basics - Traps and Tranq Bombs. You can craft everything you need from the crafting list at your base:
  • Tranq Bombs = Sleep Herbs + Parashrooms
  • Shock Traps = Trap Tool + Thunderbug Capacitor
  • Pitfall Traps = Trap Tool + Net
  • Net = Spider Web + Ivy
Optional: You can also create Tranq Knives by combining Tranq Bombs and Knives in the crafting list. This is just in case you prefer shooting your Tranq load instead of dropping bombs.

Now, you might be wondering - where do we get all of these materials?

You can simply buy the Trap Tools at the trader:

All the other materials can be farmed with the help of the unloved Nata. First, unlock the farms through side quests (another reason why you should definitely finish them all) - once that’s done, your farming will be fully automated.

If the farms feel too slow, simply hit the hay and rest. This will speed up production and get you the materials faster!

Now, let’s get to the actual capturing process, shall we?

First, you need a target. Fight the monster and weaken it until a skull icon appears next to its symbol on the map. This means it’s ready for capture, so stop attacking!

You can spot the skull icon on the minimap in the lower-left corner, right next to the monster’s icon:

Optional: Let the monster limp away to its nest, where it will start to sleep.
(Unless it’s a Guardian variant - they don’t sleep!)

Next, place a trap. In most cases, it doesn’t matter which one you use, though there are a few exceptions, like Shock Traps not working on Rey Dau for, well, obvious reasons.

Finally, use 2 Tranq Bombs or your Tranq Knives to put the monster to sleep and complete the quest. You need to do this before the monster escapes the trap, or it won’t work!

You won’t be able to carve the corpse, but you will receive extra quest rewards as compensation.

Hunted 100 large monsters

You’ll likely unlock this one by accident during the main story or shortly after. However, if you really, REALLY want to speedrun this achievement, you COULD simply kill low rank Chatacabra over and over and over again.
...But you wouldn't do that, right?
...right?

Hunted 50 apex predators

What is an apex predator? A miserable pile of secrets?
To put it into words, apex predators are:
Icon
Name
Spawn Area
Spawn Environment
Uth Duna
Scarlet Forest
Inclemency
Rey Dau
Windward Plains
Inclemency
Nu Udra
Oilwell Basin
Inclemency
Jin Dahaad
Iceshard Cliffs
Inclemency
Since hunting four monsters 50 times can get pretty tedious, we’ve come up with a bit of a shortcut. Instead of going after the high rank variants, hunt the low rank variants of Nu Udra, Uth Duna, or Ray Dau. Each hunt will only take about 3 minutes, helping you maintain your sanity while grinding through this!

In our biased opinion, Ray Dau was the easiest to grind, Nu Udra was the fastest, and Uth Duna was definitely the most annoying - especially when it runs away for 2 minutes right when it’s almost dead.

Captures Count, But Not How You Think!

There's been some confusion about whether captured Apex Monsters count toward the Top of the Food Chain achievement. The answer is yes, they do! But Capcom's tracking system makes it a bit misleading.

Here’s the deal: when you check your Monster Hunted count, the number already includes any captured monsters. For example, in the screenshot below, it says 29 Rey Dau hunted with 3 captured next to it. That does not mean 32 total—it’s still just 29, because the captured ones are baked into that number.

I had the exact same thought at first and thought I was ahead of the grind… only to realize I’d been scammed by the UI. So if you're tracking your progress, don’t make my mistake and start hunting after accepting your fate that they are still missing. 😭

Viewed 30 different Hunter Profiles

This one will take a few minutes, but it’s super easy to pull off. First, join a random lobby with other players - ideally, a full one with more than 30 players. But even if the lobby isn’t packed to the brim, don’t worry! If needed, you can always hop into another one once you’re finished here.

Once in a lobby, open your menu and select "Member List".

Now for the tedious part. Select a player, open their hunter profile (which takes a few seconds to load), and repeat this process another 29 times. Remember, you need to view 30 different profiles. It might take a little while, but stay patient!

Final Words
And there you have it, hunter! If you’ve made it this far, congrats - you’re officially crazier than a Frenzied Rajang on a caffeine rush! 🐵⚡

Monster Hunter Wilds will test your patience, your skill, and your sanity (especially with those damn crowns), but remember: every hunt, every reset, and every whopper you reel in gets you one step closer to that shiny 100% completion.

Thanks for sticking with the guide, and we hope it helped you dodge some frustration (or at least made you laugh while losing your mind). If you’ve got questions, tips, or just wanna rant about RNG, feel free to drop a comment. Until then…

Good luck out there, and may the RNG gods finally smile upon you!

In my personal experience, Goliath Squids are your friends. They bite the Tentacle Jig with a fervor and they are incapable of jumping, making the whole experience way easier.

Wounded Hollow Crown Farming was fixed in the last updated, now crown farming is more painful than before

Idk what they did to fishing whoppers, but was only able to bait ga Gajau twice but not catch and only whopper that was welcoming my rod is... goliath squid, it goes after bait very fast and not only after tentacle one, but emerald too.

Hey @D4rk
I just tested it with a tempered Uth Duna in the forrest and it changed to a silver cronw after my third attempt - confirming it still works. Best of luck with your hunt!

Is anyone able to confirm that the reload trick is still working for Apex/Guardian monsters? I've reloaded several times (20x+) for Uth Duna and haven't even seen a silver crown. Maybe it's because I'm doing a tempered one? Would like to know if I am wasting my time. Will continue to try for now.

Thanks!

Happy to hear that, thank you @Potato!
Yes, with TU1 they increased it to 500 for some reason...
Potato 7 Apr @ 11:17am
Can confirm, I restarted the game and it didn't reset to full moon.
Gotta keep track of the cycle.
Also is it me or they increased the cost for resting? I'm pretty sure it went from 300 to 500.
Anyway great guide, I managed to get all achievements thanks to you !
Ruhenot  [author] 7 Apr @ 8:17am
Hey.
@Soul
Sounds like bad news. I will test it later and update the Guide accordingly. Thanks for the hint!
@Armagideon
It shouldn't count, since the one Low Rank Zoh Shia kill you had to do for the story didnt count towards this achievement either. I think it still counts as "man-made ultimate weapon" and not as an apex predator.
Armagideon 7 Apr @ 12:46am
Does hunting Zoh Shia as of title update 1 not count towards "Top of the Food Chain"? Seeing as it's supposed to be the apex monster of Ruins of Wyveria
Soul 6 Apr @ 9:20pm
I'm pretty certain that for "Explorer of the Eastlands" achievement, the listed strategy for Nightflower Pollen doesn't work as of title update 1. The moon phase seems to be random upon restarting the game now instead of always being set to full moon.
