Progression in War Robots: Frontiers
CURRENCY

Progression is hard capped behind how much Intel you can accumulate. Intel is the blue currency. Intel can only be acquired through completing Jobs. You have a limited amount of Daily and Weekly Jobs. Therefore, you have a limited amount of Intel you can receive each week.

The Yellow currency is acquired multiple ways such as by completing Matches and completing Jobs. Yellow currency is common but still not easy to grind for. You can convert Yellow currency into Salvage or you can buy Parts from the Daily Deals. You can also buy Common Pilots with Yellow currency.

Salvage is the silver currency and can be acquired by converting Yellow into silver. Salvage can also be acquired by selling your Parts. However, I would not suggest selling your Parts. Salvage, like Yellow currency, is a relatively common currency.

Warpreals are your true Premium currency and are acquired with real money. Warpreals can be used to purchase all kinds of things, particularly Hero Pilots. There's also various package deals and Parts for sale in the Store that you can use Warpreals to purchase.

Tokens are a currency acquired by leveling your Battlepass. You get Battlepass exp every Match you play. There's all kinds of unique things in the Battlepass tiers such as non-premium currencies, Parts, Paints, Premium Time, and Decals.

PROGRESSION PATH A: COLLECTOR

Some people enjoy having access to lots of Parts. These kinds of folks enjoy testing Weapons and Playstyles, and experimenting with Builds. If you are this type then you will enjoy spending your Yellow Currency and Salvage acquiring a whole arsenal. With a stockpile of Weapons and Parts you'll be able to build and arrange your Robots how you like and enjoy a sense of accomplishment from acquiring Rare Parts.

PROGRESSION PATH B: COMPETITIVE

While some folks enjoy collecting other folks are more interested in the Meta and Competitive Gameplay. Rather than spending your Currencies to collect an diverse arsenal, you chose to dump all your Currencies into a single Robot. With your lead Robot's Parts leveled up you'll enjoy better stats across all your Parts. So even if you get into a duel with someone built just like you, you'll have an edge because your Parts will be better than their's. If you are this type I would strongly suggest dumping ALL your Intel (blue currency) into a single Robot. I personally would upgrade my fav Torso and Weapon set first. So for me personally, I'm putting all my Intel into a Typhon Torso and x4 Vortex.

ELO

EVERY MATCH IS RANKED. This game is brutal. Your ELO score will be adjusted EVERY match. So if you are super focused on competitive gameplay then War Robots: Frontiers is your game. You get Seasonal rewards based on your ELO bracket. So if you like having unique and rare cosmetics that make you stand out as an iconic player then yer like me. Also, I personally really enjoy having the early stuff as WRF just came out. So later on I'll rock my classic Season 1 Decals and be an og.

TIPS

I'd suggest getting 2-5 of each weapon. Most Heavy weapons you only need two of but there's a couple you can fit three on a Robot. Most Light weapons you only need four of but there's a few you can fit five on a Robot. I'd also suggest picking up at least one of each Robot part, especially Torsos. This way you'll be able to have access to all the unique abilities each Torso has and figure out which one you like the most.
