Intro
In this guide I want to share with you the Easter eggs and references that I managed to find.
1. Myst
1. On the first floor, to the left of the entrance, there is a waiting room, on one of the walls there is a cork board, on which among other paper sheets there is a list of "Reasons for admission 1864 to 1889", there are some rather strange reasons, one of which will be "Liking Myst". "Myst" is a first-person quest (adventure) first published in 1993 and has been remade many times since then. "Myst" has influenced many games of its genre.
2. Michael Arthate
Also on the first floor in the archive, as soon as you enter the archive, turn right. In one of the drawers there will be a piece of paper with the name Michael Arthate (that was the name of the main character of the game "Scratches"). "Scratches" is a first-person quest (adventure), created in 2006, the game designer of the games "Scratches" and "ASYLUM" is the same person Agustin Cordes.
3. Hans Giger
In the same archive opposite the entrance there is a table on which lies the book "Register of Patients", in which names are listed. One of the names will be Hans Giger. Hans Giger is a Swiss artist working in the genres of necro-gothic and biomechanics, best known for his design work for the film "Alien".
4. Teddy bear from Scratches
On the first floor in the men's wing, in the shower in one of the toilets, there is a teddy bear with a torn neck. If he is investigated, one of the comments will be "Was Robin locked up in this institute?". The bear and this comment are also references to the game "Scratches". Although here you can count the second reference to Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin.
5. Barker, Ligotti, Lovecraft
On the first floor of the library, on one of the shelves, there are four books with an ancient Egyptian scarab beetle on the spine. If we examine them, then one of the comments will be "Barker, Ligotti, Lovecraft? It didn't seem like appropriate literature for mental patients". This is a reference to writers in the horror genres, respectively Clive Barker, Thomas Ligotti and Howard Lovecraft.
6. The Castle in the Forest
In the same library, on another shelf, there are three books "The Castle in the Forest" by the writer Norman Mailer. When researching them, there will be a comment ""Castle of the Forest". It looked like some fairy tale." However, in fact, this book tells about the childhood and youth of one German painter from the period 1939-1945. By the way, next to these books is an upside-down book "Tono-Bungay" by the writer H.G. Wells, the book tells about a student scientist who helps with the promotion of harmful stimulants disguised as a cure for all diseases.
7. Bram Stoker
On the second floor, in the morgue, not far from the cutting table, there is a book with a list of the names of people whose remains remained in the refrigerator vaults. One of the names will be Bram Stoker. Bram Stoker is an Irish writer, best known as the author of the 1897 gothic horror novel "Dracula". But when we check his vault, for some reason we find brains, not blood.

8. The Last Visit
On the second floor in the laboratory, in a drawer, one of the cabinets leaves a paper from the Hanwell Mental Institute "5. The influence of Ambrose Miller". In this case, these papers are talking about thalidomide, which again refers us to the game "Scratches", but already to its director's cut edition, namely to the side quest "The Last Visit".
9. Сandles
There is a candle holder on the third floor in the occult room. When examining it, one of the comments will be "I finally found the candles, Jerry". Jerry is a realtor-friend of the main character of the game "Scratches" Michael Arthate, who sold him a mansion, but there was no electricity there, and while the electrician was driving to the mansion, Jerry advised him on the phone to look for candles. That is, this comment is again a reference to "Scratches".
10. Dhalmaar
In the same room on the table lies a document that mentions the ancient Dhalmaar tribe, which is also mentioned in the game "Scratches".
11. Boiler from Scratches
In the basement in the room with two boilers, when examining a non-working boiler, there will be a comment "For a moment, I seemed to hear a faint scratching noise coming from inside the boiler, but I quickly attributed that to a trick of my imagination." Yes, this is again a reference to "Scratches".
12. Valve and Steam
During the game, you will have to take a valve into your inventory. When you enter into a dialogue, you can demonstrate it to the other person. You will not be able to show it to Bruno, because Bruno will no longer be in the hospital, Miller says that: "That's crude and lowly. I prefer to work with finer instruments." But Lenny and Julia's answers are more amusing. Lenny says, "N-No, I don't like games," and Julia sings Peter Gabriel's song "Steam." Accordingly, these are references to the companies Valve and Steam.

13. Fan of Valves
Towards the end, when you use the valve for the last time, you will get the achievement "Fan of Valves" and at the moment of receiving the achievements, the music from the Valve intro will play, which is also a reference to this company.

Some extra easter egg references I found:

1- Using the phone on Julia's desk when she's not around says "Better call Jerry".

2- Use the typewriter on Julia's desk. Aparently it's the same model Michael Arthate uses.

3- Look at the broken bathroom mirrors in floor 1, the one near the cafeteria, for another Michael Arthate reference.

4- Talk to Miller and ask stuff, you'll eventually get this dialogue:

-Just one more thing, Jerry.
-Who?

5- When speaking to Miller, ask about your condition a bunch of times to get this dialogue:

-What if I said I have an urge to find candles?
-I'd say you have an acute sense of adventure. Have you checked the attic?
