You've made a mistake!
So here you are just playing a game about robots blowing up other robots and then realize. I have no idea what I'm doing! That's okay. That's me on a normal day for normal things.

But let's get this out of the way. This more or less a build concept for you to gather your creativity with.
Understanding Mixing and Matching..
Cost of energy and weight is highly important for making an optimal mech.
(I will refuse to call them Robots because I hate that name so much for Mech stuff.)

You want to ensure your chassis can support the load out so you will eventually need to mix and match parts.

Mech Code: OAss24BC (Okay that's funny.)

Take this ugly fella here. Quiet he has a wonderful personality. His dad thinks he's a handsome boy.

This is a low cost Hunchback.
Built to slap shields and spit eggs right back at the enemy.
Even better you can swap around parts. But Squid guy why is he using a Ares shoulder?
Good eye. It helps lob eggs around buildings like the church bell ringing monster you are with this.
You'll be using heavy weapons on shoulders a lot in War Robots.

We're not here to learn how to meta though are we. Just some ideas needed for you? Okay next section...

Seriously next section.
Wait you came to the next section? I'll make this super fast.
While I intend to flesh this out over time.

I'm just going to drop some creative ideas I've had over my now 70 hours of this game.
I'll not add any failures to the list aside from my name at the end of the guide.

These have been my most successful builds of mechs that surprise people.

Say hello to my Lancer/Griffen Hybrid. I hate missile lock. You no doubt hate missile lock. This guy tends shut that down with it's ability to scamble sensors. One thing it does well if you aren't using it to scramble is making direct damage to a single component pretty much impossible. Combined with a Tyr wing man and you two are sitting pretty for surviving some large alpha attacks.

Mech Code: c9ovrcY_

It's nothing special but you know.. I hate missile lock so much and I use Vortex quite often.

Speaking of Tyr.

Mech Code: VXJi_oDH

Say hello to a missile boat that can hide and heal itself with others around OR hide/heal/lay land mines. All the same time. It's costs are very very specific and honestly it's hard to balance it's costs. But here we are four missiles, two types. Infinite amount heals and in general my favorite mech.

Want a counter for this type of Mech? Say hello to what I consider a very toxic build.

Type A

Mech Code: ?????

Type B

Mech Code: ?????? (Honestly I deleted these because I felt like absolute garbage using em but I will rebuild it's just so spiteful a build)

One exploding egg is bad. Two is problematic. Three is just absolute hatred built and distilled into a mech.

That's what these guys are. The harpy body lets you control a lane. The Phantom is 100% A rewind you made a terrible choice.

Both are absolute nonsense if teamed up together. Want to see big numbers at 500? That's this.
The range despite saying 600 is only 500 be aware of that.

What's that? Did you say you want an assault body than can give damage and make people run in horror of a newbie mech? Sure thing. Behold.

Mech Code: ULxWjYRj

By the time time they realize your rockets aren't the threat they are already in range to be shredded and you'll be reloading it so fast it's like juggling rockets and bullets. All in all a poster child for everything wrong with human engineering. It's a war crime.

Now comes one from the deepest depths of pure disdain.

Mech Code: deOXprC9
Bonus Tyr Version: ULxWjYRj

Orochi torso is by far one of the best things ever. You can wall hack with it. The twin Zeus really are a laser beam of pure "I didn't need those shields anyhow" and then it goes "Cool what the armor though".

I love this little jumper. It's modeled after the hanger version but really it's over all just a absolute jerk on the battlefield. You don't need to be accurate since the beam cuts across allowing flicks.

It's like a crab fully armed with a light saber.
Next section will be gen 2 builds of various concepts I am working on but they need test time.

Closing out now.
These I hope will give an idea of how varied you can make builds with the part system.
I try to use as much cost as I can for each mech.

This is less a guide and more of a lego build idea. They work for me and almost of each them nets about 2 mil dmg per match. Not perfect but still enough where I hope to see others killing me with my own creations at some point. May you find a varied build you can call your own one day.

You can apply the codes to see the actual mech build in game.
It's way to share and exchange build ideas and it's one of my favorites thing about this game.

Would you want to share the code for the Lance/Griffen hybrid? Just unlocked the Griffen, and wanna try my hand at playing Doctor Frankenstein with those two lol.
