There are no missable trophies or achievements in Watch Dogs 2. You can freely explore the world after finishing the main story to collect anything you may have missed. However, some trophies require online multiplayer, which may depend on active players or functional servers so keep this in mind when attempting to 100% the game. I would recommend trying to knock some of the online achievements early just in case there are limited numbers of players in the future, online achievements will be covered in a separate section of the guide which you can visit.

For the format of the guide, I will be doing a walk-through of a normal play-through showing you when you will be getting the story based achievements while sprinkling in easy miscellaneous achievements you can grab to save you having to do a long cleanup at the end. If you want, you do not have to follow this format and just play the game as you want. Just look for the specific achievement you want to acquire in the guide and it will show you how to get it.

These guides take a lot of time to make so all gifts are appreciated alongside all 5 star ratings and favourites. Lets get into the guide!

Achievement 1/55: Who Am I

Story-based achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the first mission "Hello World"

Achievement 2/55: Put Your Damn Pants On

Upon finishing the first mission, you will be tasked with grabbing a pair of pants before the start of the next mission. Download the Nudle Maps app on your new phone and fast travel to a clothing store of your choice. Once there, purchase a pair of pants from the store.

Achievement 3/55: Menace

Once you enter the DedSec headquarters for the first time, Wrench will introduce you to the 3D printer where you can print your own weapons and obtain the RC car. When on the printer menu, pick one of the open weapon slots and purchase any weapon that isn't a pistol (I chose the AK-47). Once you have confirmed your weapon you will get the achievement.

Achievement 4/55: In Style

For this achievement you must purchase Gatorfeet Whine Country footwear. This can be acquired from visiting one of the Plainstock Clothing Stores. Below is an image of one of the locations in case you are unable to locate one, it is located at the Embarcadero Center as shown on the image. Once you get to the store, go to the footwear category and purchase the Gatorfeet Whine Country shoes to get the achievement. If you are struggling to find them, they are the purple crocs.


Achievement 5/55: Only God Can Judge Me

Lets go and buy some more clothes now! For this achievement we will have to travel to the Nudle Vending Machine that is located at the bottom of the map in Silicon Valley, I have put an image below to help you locate it if you are lost. Select any shirt that you would like to buy and purchase it to unlock the achievement.


Achievement 6/55: App'ing Around

If you haven't done so already, you should download the rest of the available apps on the phone. Go to the App Store and get the remaining applications that can be downloaded. You will know an app is still available to download if it costs money as each app costs a few dollars. Once you have downloaded everything, you will get the achievement.

Achievement 7/55: Knight Ridden

Story-based achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Cyber Driver"

Achievement 8/55: Third Time's The Charm

I unlocked this achievement during the Cyber Driver missions. This is an achievement that will almost certainly come naturally as all you have to do is make 3 jumps in a row in a vehicle. If for whatever reason you don't get this achievement across your entire play-through, just find a hill to drive across using a bike and you will be able to get the achievement easily.

Achievement 9/55: Doggyland

Lets grab some more easy miscellaneous achievements now. For this achievement, head to one of the parks in the map (I went to the Golden Gate Park). Walk around the park until you find a dog, once you find one pet the dog 10 times to unlock the achievement. You can pet the same dog 10 times for the achievement to work, you don't need to find and pet different dogs.

Achievement 10/55: Photobombed!

While we are at the park, lets grab one more easy achievement. Pull out your camera in your phone app to take a selfie. While in the photo mode, wait for someone to pass by who does a photo-bomb pose and take the picture. Once you take the photo-bombed picture, you will unlock the achievement.

Achievement 11/55:Baby, I Got Your Money[/i]

Story-based achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "False Profits"

Achievement 12/55: No Place Like Haum

Story-based achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Haum Sweet Haum"

Achievement 13/55: Roboteer

Look for one of the robots like you see here in the achievement image. There were some in the second last mission in Haum Sweet Haum. All you need to do is hack one of these guys to pop the achievement. If you didn't hack on in that mission, you can either reload the mission and do it quickly as they are there at the start, or just keep an eye on one of them in the future and do it.

Achievement 14/55: Knock You Out

This achievement will be unlocked by performing stealth takedowns on 30 enemies. Obviously when you get this achievement at different times depending on how stealthy you are playing the game. However, if you have not been doing stealth takedowns at all, now is a good time to start.

Achievement 15/55: Something To Ride

Alright, I let you finish 2 full operations without giving you any miscellaneous achievements to grab. So now lets get 4 easy ones all related to vehicles. For this one, find a bus, hijack the bus and..... that's it.

Achievement 16/55: Bad Boys

For this achievement we will need to do the same thing but with a boat. Fast travel to the top on the map where the Yacht Club Kiosk is (check image below for reference). Once there, enter an empty boat, travel to a boat that is currently being driven by someone else, cut them off and hijack it.


Achievement 17/55: Let Me Ride

This achievement requires you to have the "Vehicle Directional Hack" skill under the Vehicle Hacking category. For this achievement all you need to do is head to a highway that has a long straight road. Once there, hop on top of the car and use the hack to drive straight down the road for 200 meters.

Achievement 18/55: Miniroadtrip!

For this achievement, steal one of these stupid little cars from someone and drive a total of 4 kilometres with it. They tend to spawn more often in Silicon Valley. There is an image below showing what they look like.

Quick note, make sure to begin saving your money as you play. You will need $269,000 to purchase 25 vehicles for the "One-Man Garage" Achievement. It will make it much easier for you if you save up now, rather than having to find money later on.

At this point, if you have not already, you should start working on a few collectable achievements as you play. Firstly, taking ScoutX location pictures around the map as you encounter one. Secondly, collecting some of the research key data that you find near you as you play. Finally, completing dedsec events when they appear, check out the "One of the Gang" achievement in the online achievement section for more information on this one.

Achievement 19/55: Smooth Felon

I put this achievement here because when you begin the next operation "Looking Glass", there will be a series of events that will lead to the cops surrounding you after a cut-scene. This is an easy time to get this achievement. Kill a few more police and civilians to raise your wanted level to 5 stars and then flee to unlock this achievement. If you don't do it at this time, just kill a bunch of cops until you reach 5 star wanted level and run like the wind!

Achievement 20/55: Picking Up The Pieces

Story-based achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Looking Glass"

At this point, you have likely gotten a decent handle on the games mechanics. I would recommend beginning to work on some of the online achievements. The ones I recommend that you do now are "Hold My Hand, Please Marcus, Don't Hurt Them and Natural Born Killer. See the final section called "Online Achievements" in the guide for help if needed.

Achievement 21/55: Informer

Story-based achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Limp Nudle"

Achievement 22/55: Sabotage

Story-based achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Hacker War"

Achievement 23/55: Ain't No Stopping

To complete this achievement, all you need to do is travel to a bike race location and complete it. You don't even need to do good, just cross the finish line. Go on the map and locate an a green icon with a motorbike to locate where the races are.

Achievement 24/55: I Get Around

To complete a drone race, you will need to first purchase a drone from the 3D printer from the Dedsec headquarters. The drone will cost $67,500 to purchase. Once you have bought it, look on the map for the green drone icon that is located near the HQ, you will see a guy sitting on the ground with a laptop. Once you talk to him, you will be able to participate in drone races. Complete a race and get the achievement.

Achievement 25/55: Earn Your Sea Legs

Similar to the previous achievement, you will need to obtain a boat before you can complete a boat race. Travel to the green boat icon on the top of the map and visit the Yacht club nearby. You will be given a choice of boats to buy and the cheapest boat is the Ocean Breezeway which can be purchased for $3,000. You don't need to purchase the most expensive boat as you don't need to win the race but just to complete it. Once you have your boat, visit the boat icon location of your map to complete a race.

Achievement 26/55: 100% Legit

Side mission achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "$911"

Achievement 27/55: Hypnotize

Story-based achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "W4tched"

Achievement 28/55: Old School Justice

Story-based achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Eye For An Eye"

Achievement 29/55: Pimp My eKart

To get this achievement will you need to complete the first few objectives in the "eKart Challenge" side operation. This side operation will have you finding several go-kart pieces and competing in a race. You do not need to complete the entire operation for the trophy, you just need to complete it up until you find all the upgrades for the eKart. Once you get the Velocity Microchip, you should unlock it.

Achievement 30/55: A Ride To Remember

There are 7 different unique vehicles around the map you can go to. You only need to drive one of them to get the achievement. Because of that, I'll just show you where the one I got is. If you can't tell by the photo, the ambulance is between the two sides of the "H" shaped building.


Achievement 31/55: DedSec-A-Roni

All you need to do is hop into one of the cable cars located around the map. They are red and follow the tracks on the road as you can see in the image. I'd go to the top left of San Francisco to find one easily.


Achievement 32/55: Jump Around

For this achievement, you will need to do a 140 meter jump. This best works by using a motorcycle, and having the engine override perk which you can see below. Drive up to the location in a straight line, following the direction on the map image. There is a jump at the end of it which once you fly off, you should have gone far enough to get the achievement. If not, try again and gain more speed.

At this point, if you have not already, you should start working on a few collectable achievements as you play. Firstly, taking ScoutX location pictures around the map as you encounter one. Secondly, collecting some of the research key data that you find near you as you play. Finally, completing dedsec events when they appear, check out the "One of the Gang" achievement in the online achievement section for more information on this one.

Achievement 33/55: The Fox

Side mission achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Shadows"
To begin this achievement, you will need to speak to the DedSec agent in the restaurant located within Chinatown. Once you finish speaking to him, the side mission will unlock.

Achievement 34/55: Joined The Mile High Club

Story-based achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Hack Teh World"

Achievement 35/55: Feeding Frenzy

To get this achievement, you need to have the "APB Suspect Located" Perk. Once you have it, head to the location shown in the image during the day time. At that location, there is a donut shop with a man wearing a donut costume. Use the "call the cops" hack on him to unlock the achievement.

Achievement 36/55: Make Every Voice Count

Story-based achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Power To The Sheeple"

Achievement 37/55: The Itsy Bitsy Spider

Story-based achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Robot Wars"

Achievement 38/55: Hold My Hair

This is going to be one of the more annoying achievements to collect. I put it near the end because at this point, I'd imagine you are willing to suffer through it as you are already close to completing everything. You will need to take a picture of someone vomiting, which is complete RNG but there are a few things we can do to hopefully make it easier. First, wait until evening, if its not currently evening you can fall asleep on your sofa in the hackerspace and set an alarm for 11pm. You then want to go to a bar, visit the area in the image below. Once you are there, look for people who are stumbling around. Most of the time they will look homeless or making gagging noises. What I did was I walked around these areas with my phone out, slowly moving around the streets just so when someone started to vomit, I could take the picture right away and not worry about missing it. This one will take you a while so just be patient, it will come.


Achievement 39/55: One-Man Garage

This achievement will require you to have $270,000 saved up to purchase the vehicles. Hopefully you have listened to my advice and saved. If not, go around and hack people for money or go to the "$" locations around the map and collect those. Anyway, head to a Total Motors location marked on the map with a car symbol. Once you are there, purchase the following vehicles.


Achievement 40/55: You're On A Boat

Story-based achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Shanghaied"

Achievement 41/55: Leaks And Leaks

Side mission achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Ubistolen"
To unlock this operation, you will need to hack into the phone of the Ubisoft Marketing Director. Go to the image shown below and hack into his phone.


Achievement 42/55: Hack The World

The final story-based achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Hack The World". You have now beaten the main story!

Achievement 43/55: The Score Of Your Life

DLC achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Automata"

Achievement 44/55: Nanotriumph

DLC achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Caustic Progress"

Achievement 45/55: Not The Pizza Guy

DLC achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Bad Medicine"

Achievement 46/55: That Escalated Quickly

DLC achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Moscow Gambit"

Achievement 47/55: Prize Catch

DLC achievement. Will be unlocked after completing the operation "Off The Hook"
To do this, you will need to finish the following operations on the "Off The Hook" mission before that mission will be unlocked for you to play and complete. It is believed that you need to have done all of the following first. It took me quite a long time to finally get the final mission.
1. Cars and Codes
2. Against The Clock
3. Streamroller
4. Smash And Grab
5. A Friend In Need
6. Break Out, Break In
7. Wrecking Deals, Stealing Wheels
8. The Road To Ruin
9. Yours Is Mine
10. All You Can Eat

Achievement 48/55: Got The Scutterbug

If you have not already, you will need to take 25 ScoutX location pictures. All you need to do is take a picture on your camera app next to on of the locations, on the top left, a banner of ScoutX and the location name will pop up. Just go on the ScoutX app on your phone and look to see what locations are closest to you, once you have gotten the 25 needed, the achievement should pop.

Achievement 49/55: Researcher

If you have no done so already, you will also need to collect all the key data around the map. This is the data that is shown as a green skull on the map. On the researcher app, go on each perk and see if you have collected the key data for it. If you haven't, watch this video to locate where it is on the map and how to get it. It's really easy, just takes a bit of time. Here is the video I used, just skip around the video to the specific key data you need and it will show you how to collect it.

To finish up getting all the achievements, you will need to grab the online achievements. There are 6 total that you have to collect. If you have been following along with the guide, hopefully you have already acquired some, but regardless, here is the breakdown for all of them.

Achievement 50/55: Hold My Hand

To get this achievement, you will need to complete a co-op operation. Go on your phone, head on the dedsec app and select an online mission to complete (I chose Unlawful Disorder). Once you complete the event, you will be given the achievement.

Achievement 51/55: Please Marcus, Don't Hurt Them

This achievement requires you to neutralise 5 bounty targets. To do this you have to go onto the bounty hunter mode. Open your phone, click the "multiplayer" button on the bottom of the phone. Click the "bounty hunter" option and then click "Find A Target". Few important things to know when going for this. If anyone other than you neutralises the target, it will not count. Sometimes you will for some reason not be put into a bounty hunter mode, if the task on the top left of the screen does not tell you to "Neutralise Username", you were put in the wrong mode, cancel and re-select bounty hunter.

Achievement 52/55: Natural Born Killer

This achievement will require to you to kill a hunter during the bounty hunter event. Instead of selecting "Find A Target" on the bounty hunter menu, you will click the other button, "Trigger A Bounty". Once it has been triggered, you will see an enemy player marked as a red arrow on your mini-map and have their name above them on red.

Achievement 53/55: Troll'r

To get this achievement, you will need to successfully invade another hacker. To do this, you will need to locate the enemy player, and stay hidden until you percentage bar gets to 100%. If you aren't able to get to 100%, you will need to try again. To play this game, go to the multiplayer section on your phone and click "Hacking Invasion".

Achievement 54/55: One Of The Gang

Now this is normally an annoying achievement to get. However, I created an exploit to do it easily. I call it "The Bboyz Method" has a good ring to it right? If you have not done any DedSec activities yet, you will have to complete 5 total to unlock it. Lets break down the easiest way to do it.

First, go to the multiplayer menu on your phone and select the "Four Player Party" option. Then make a private lobby. Now that we have a lobby, we can continue to select DedSec activities to do rather than having to wait for them to appear randomly, I spent many hours trying to get them to spawn normally, but at least you do not have to share in my suffering. Now head to the exact location shown in the first image. This will be your "starting point" each time you complete a mission, return here to start one again. This is because you need to be a certain distance away from a location to have it as your game and we are choosing this spot specifically because you can exploit it. The second image shows where you have to stand in relation to the first images location.

Now that you are at the location, go back on the multiplayer menu on your phone. You will see a list of game modes that you can now complete. Scroll to the very bottom and select "The Virus". To play this mode, there will be a box you need to plant a virus into, agents will attempt to look for you and you will have to stay hidden. DO NOT FIGHT THEM, you will get overwhelmed and almost certainly die. You have a very very VERY small bubble you can stay in and most of it is just in the open. Instead, hop into the red platform thingy there and use it to lift yourself onto the roof above, when on the roof, sneak right above to where the box is to hack it and begin the mission.

Once you have hacked it your goal is to stay hidden. Head behind the vents shown in the final image. If someone hops onto the roof to look for you, try your best to secretly take them down without drawing any attention. When you are also up here, it is useful to use the hack to get a gang to attack them to try to distract the security from looking for you. Just continue to sit here and wait until the bar is complete. Once you have finished the mission, or messed up, go back to the starting location and do it again. You need to complete this 5 times total to unlock this achievement. Once I created this method I was able to complete the mission without fail so it should work for you too, so long as you know what you are doing. Just make sure to call it "The Bboyz Method" to all the people you know, its a way cooler name for it compared to anything you would make I'm sure.

Achievement 55/55: Its The Final Showd0wn

This will be the most annoying achievement to get. There is an easy way and a hard way to do this. The hard way is to queue with randoms and try to win 4 Showdown matches in a row. Please don't be an idiot and just do it the easy way instead.First, you need to find 3 other people to play with. You can either go into the discussions tab on this game to find people, or go on the official Watch Dogs discord server and find people also going for this achievement.

One you have assembled your crew, you will need to split into teams of two. In your team of two, send your partner a friend request on the Ubisoft app. Once you are friends, load into the game, select the multiplier button on your phone and then select the "Friends" tab. Click your teammates name on your friends list and load into their game.

Once your team of two and the other team of two are in their own lobbies, go to the multiplayer tab and queue into a Showd0wn match. Your aim is to get into the same lobby as the other team. One recommendation for this step, for the best likelihood to get into a lobby with the other team, try to have the members of each opposing team who are closest to eachother be the ones who queue. Meaning, if you have one person on each team who lives near eachother in EU or NA, have them be the ones to queue into the showdown match. This will increase the chance you will get into the same lobby.

Once you guys all get into the same match, let each team win 4 games in a row. The good thing about this is once you are in the correct lobby, at the end of each game, it will automatically load you into a new game with the same people, so you don't need to keep trying to get into the same lobby. Just make sure you don't cancel out of the queue at any time during these steps as then you will have to start over.

There are some glitches that happen sometimes where it will take 2 or even 5 wins in a row to get the achievement. Regardless, just keep playing until you get this achievement. Finding a team and letting eachother win is far more easy to do than winning them naturally, the Showd0wn game is VERY biased where some games are far easier to win for certain teams than others. While this does take time to setup, once you have done everything correctly, it will be very easy to obtain.

One final note, you cannot just to a 4 person queue into the showd0wn match and skip the annoyance of trying to get into each others lobbies. It won't work, save yourself the trouble.
