This guide is intended to explain the effects on gameplay that you get for owning each of these items.

Blue Walls
This classic Regency colour scheme will transform the ballroom.
Effect: Start each hand with a minimum of 2 wildcards.




Ornate Mirror
Mirrors above the fireplace are a timeless decor strategy.
Effect: Reveals face down special cards under the mouse cursor.





Conservatory
A south-facing conservatory allows one to enjoy the English weather, no matter what season.
Effect: 50% chance of removing a bow at the start of each hand automatically.



Silver Platter
Hors d'oeuvre taste so much nicer when they come from a silver platter.
Effect: Increases the chance of finding a joker by 30%





Footman's Wig
This wig will add a touch of class to the footman.
Effect: Jokers can remove locks!





Phoenix Statuette
A phoenix rising from the ashes! What a perfect way to symbolise the renewal of the ballroom.
Effect: Gives you the Phoenix cameo powerup, which removes 2 random playable cards.





Phoenix II
Generally you cannot fail to improve matters by adding a bit of gold trim.
Effect: Upgrades the Phoenix cameo powerup to remove 3 random playable cards!




Cupid Statuette
This Cupid statuette should enhance the romantic qualities of the ballroom.
Effect: Gives you the Cupid cameo powerup, which lets you remove a playable card of your choice.



Cupid II
Some people think less is more with gold - but they probably don't have any.
Effect: Upgrades the Cupid cameo powerup to shoot two arrows!





Portrait of Edward
Edward looks quite the young gentleman in this portrait.
Effect: Turns over 15% of the face down cards at the start of each hand.





Portrait of Charlotte
This portrait of Charlotte is stunning - hence the rather large price tag.
Effect: Turns over a further 20% of the face down cards at the start of each hand.




Left Candelabrum
This Candelabrum was silver-plated by experts in Sheffield.
Effect: Start each hand with 10 gold.

Right Candelabrum
This candelabrum matches the other one perfectly.
Effect: Turns over a further 10% of the face down cards at the start of each hand.



Window and Curtains
This new window will let in more light and the curtains are the height of fashion.
Effect: Removes one playable card at the start of each hand.




Feast Table
Well this should keep Papa entertained - for a few minutes anyway.
Effect: Adds a Jack, Queen and King to the stock pile!





Teapot
Tea and cake fuel the greatest minds of our nation.
Effect: Adds an Ace and 10 card to the stock pile!





Chandelier
This huge chandelier will complete the ballroom nicely.
Effect: Reveals the top stock card when the mouse is over it.





Harpist
Imagine how delightful this harpist will sound during soirées.
Effect: Gives you the Lyre cameo powerup, which shuffles the remaining cards.





Pianoforte
Every accomplished young lady should know how to play the pianoforte.
Effect: Charges the Lyre cameo powerup 20% faster.





Sheet Music
This popular folk song is bound to get people dancing.
Effect: The Lyre cameo powerup requires 15% less charge.





Card Table
A wonderful decorated card table is just the thing for card parties.
Effect: Combos start after a run of 5 cards instead of 6!





Ballroom Dress
Bella will look stunning in this classical ballroom dress.
Effect: Displays how many cards are in the stock pile.





Lace Fan
An exquisite fan - perfect for flirting!
Effect: Allows you to collect wildcards.





Painted Fan
