The playful penguin, Pingu, arrives into Rivals of Aether to have some fun! Nug nug! (Or Noot Noot if you prefer)

Pingu is an all-round fighter that mainly relies on throwing projectiles and setting up his
seesaw to launch his foes and himself into the air for a hectic aerial fight. Though a bit on the
slow side, his varied moveset lets him keep pace with the other fighters.

Pingu can put down a seesaw via Up Special. This launches him and his enemy into the air. While Pingu
can take advantage of it and put his opponent into an unfortunate position, so too can the foe.
Be mindful of when and where to place it.

By jump cancelling FSpecial or Dash Attack (on hit), Pingu can carry some of his speed into his
next action.



NSpecial - Snowball Throw


Pingu throws a snowball at an arc. Distance of the snowball can be adjusted by either holding
left or right during startup.

FSpecial - Sled Dash/Sled Jump


Pingu gets into his sled and rams into his enemy. If jump cancelled during the move, Pingu will
launch forward off of his sled, which now acts as a projectile.

USpecial - Seesaw Jump/Helpless Flight


Pingu launches himself off the seesaw, which will deal contact damage. Once the seesaw hits the
ground or platform, it becomes an object that both Pingu and his foe(s) can jump off of.
Dissapears after a certain amount of time passes or if Pingu gets KO'd. If Pingu uses USpecial
while the seesaw is on field, he'll helplessly fly instead

DSpecial - Reeling In Robby/Fish Outta Water


Pingu fishes on a tiny pond and reels in either Robby or a fish depending on how long you held the
special button on startup. If done normally, Pingu fishes out his friend Robby, who will bounce around.
If held, Pingu will instead reel in a fish into the air that heals Pingu 8% if caught. However,
his foes can also grab the fish to heal themselves too.
