Some mission of this game can remove the camera item from your savegame, while it's not the most elegant solution, but it's still better than starting over.

Here's how to do it:

1. Download Cheat Engine from your website of choice;
   
2. Download this[fearlessrevolution.com] Cheat Engine table;
   
3. Open the table;
   
4. Open the game and load your savegame;
   
5. Attach the table to the game process by going to 'File' > 'Open Process';
   
   
   
   
6. Toggle the box that says 'Subspace Storage';
   
7. Go into your inventory and hover the item in your inventory (I recommend doing this with a common item that you can buy again, as this method will replace this item);
   
   
   
   
8. Go back to Cheat Engine and replace the entry 'Item ID' with 43306;
   
9. Exit your inventory and go back in it again, your item should be now changed to the camera.
