go to sloan and loot everything in the town this will help you get some stuff... if you need help with exp try doing quests in primm or in goodsprings to level up enough to get some decent perks (decent not great but decent)

sloan. go and loot sloan its to the north of goodsprings youll see a mole rat (DONT KILL IT!!!!) as it is snuffles (i call them snuffles) and then loot the town of any caps ammo or weapons
2.
then you can go to primm and do the main story :)
