Die Rise Remastered (2025) - Solo Setup Guide
By Cheeze Wizard
Solo Setup Guide for Die Rise Remastered. The amount of one way drops and confusing layouts can make an otherwise straight forward and compact map not exactly intuitive to setup on. Video Guide for general map info linked.

Setup Guide
Spawn Room and Balcony
Round 1 Point Strategy: Knife only. Make sure to repair window planks for 40 points.

  • As soon as you spawn in. Take the open elevator down to the key hallway. Have everyone pick up keys, then use the control panel at the end of the hallway to reactivate the elevator and ride it back up to spawn.

  • Check spawn room for Trample Steam parts, then finish off round using above point strategy.

Round 2: Point Strategy: 8 bullets to chest then knife. Repair window planks for 70 points. If out of ammo knife twice.

  • When out of ammo or when 1-2 zombies remain. Open point door to balcony area. Buy Quick Revive if solo (call it up to your floor if needed.) and gather the rest of the trample steam parts.

  • If for any reason you accidentally start round 3 early. Purchase M14 (500 Points) for safety and kill bulk of round 3 before continuing. Otherwise don't buy it.

  • Confirm you have all parts and go down to trample steam work table via one of three methods.

SOLO: Call Quick Revive Elevator to top floor and let it lower down one floor if it is not already in that position. Make sure down arrow above the elevator is lit and hop inside. Either take it down one floor, and then carefully walk off the ledge that will be directly in front of you to get to the room, or take it down two floors. Note you can also take this elevator back up in solo if you accidentally forgot a part. The PDW (1000) is on the middle floor and is a great point building weapon. If you get it do not buy the B23R later.

SPEEDRUN/CO-OP: Look down off the ledge directly to the right of the M14 and the neighboring window. You will see another ledge jutting out at about the same distance and then flooring. Carefully walk off than immediately back inwards to catch that lower ledge, then walk off onto the floor. UPDATE: The lesser fall damage in BO3 compared to BO2 means you can immediately drop to the bottom level.

NOTE: If you accidentally fall into this specific pit, it seems like the remaster will teleport you back to the top if you have quick revive, at least in personal testing.

CO-OP/SAFETY: Spend 750 points on couch door opposite the M14 and then walk off ledge directly forward. This is the same ledge you walk off in the solo strat, just more expensive to reach. Buy M14 if using this method because you will most likely not have enough to get B23R right away.

  • Build Trample Steam, make sure to actually grab one, either buy the B23R (1000 Points) in this room near the ledge opposite the zombie window, or grab the PDW (1000) by riding the elevator 1 floor up and then making two rights from the elevator door. Either way end the round in the trample steam room.

    Trample Steam Room
  • Use B23R/PDW to camp and farm points until Jumping Jacks Round. Do not open any doors here! Build window when safe to do so for bonus points.

  • When the special round starts. Stand in front of zombie window and then turn around to face the opposite ledge, walk a couple steps forward and place trample steam right in front of you. Do not shoot at the jumping jacks and let them path into the trample steam. If they get to you before the trample steam fully charges then knife 3 times to kill. Do not shoot. When round ends you will get 2000 bonus points alone with a perk bottle (that gives a bonus slot) along with your normal max ammo when done this way. In general the conditions are 100% accuracy. Remember to pick up your trample steam.

  • From now on, generally try to make forward progress as quickly as possible. There is no shortage of cramped hallways and mazelike level design with deadly blindspots for basically the rest of the map.

    Path to Power + AN94
  • Before continuing, make sure to have at least 2250 points. If you want galvaknuckles a bit earlier (reccommended). Grind up at least 6000 points and plan to grind with galvaknuckles at the AN-94 wall chalk or 8250 for a straight shot through to the big red room. You should already be fairly close to this.

  • Look for the mattresses below the ledge opposite the window and jump to them. Then turn around and drop down from the ledge to the lower floor. Turn around to face the room you just entered. The hallway on the left half of the room going forward will have a power arrow shown at the end. This is the hallway you want to go down.

  • You will now be in a ruined elevator shaft. Aim your jumps carefully. In two different places you will be aiming for a sloped surface and slide to the next platform. After the second jump, a side room to your left will have Galvaknuckles (6000 points) if you want to save up for it now. Whatever you do, do not try to grind for points at any point in this elevator shaft, you will most likely die.

  • Once you get to the bottom you will take a final slide into a red hallway and see an AN-94 (1500) in front of you. Buy it and plan it for your first pack-a-punch. If you don't have enough (due to Galva-Knuckles), hanging out in this hallway for a round next to the window should work using galva-knuckles to melee.

  • When ready, open the couch and move it as quickly as possible to the wide open redish room. The bottom half of the area is a decent training space and try to save up at least 3000 here. There will be a concrete pillar that is partially knocked over forming a ramp to the next building. It will be on the left side of the room as you enter. Try to aim for the upper ledge.

IF YOU MAKE IT: Take the door (750) in front of you, which will be the right door of the two on the upper ledge, turn right, and then walk through the left of two open door frames in front of you. You will enter a room with tables in the center and double doors to your left. Open these for (1000) points and the power will be right in front of you.

IF YOU DON'T AND LAND ON THE LOWER LEDGE: Go through the open door. This lower level is a bit maze like. But you are generally trying to navigate to the opposite side from where you entered where there will be an area with a workbench, two elevator doors in the corner, and a couch blocking the stairway. There multiple paths to this area, but the simple explanation is to simply hug the left wall and not to open any doors. You will reach this area with little issue.
Open the couch (1000) and then go up stairs. There are only two doors here and both are (750) and lead to the same room so take your pick. You will then enter the table room with the double doors (1000) leading to power.

    Finishing touches
After power, make sure to build the sliquifier using the parts in the area before continuing. If you see double-tap and/or juggernog, pick those up too. At this point you should also try to get your AN-94 pack-a-punched for damage and a free ammo refill. When you are ready, call any elevator in the area down. Then hop on its roof to ride up to the rooftop. At this point you can take the collapsed catwalk ramp in the main roof area next to the dragon and find a convenient jumping point back to the tramplesteam crafting bench area to access the earlier sections of the map.
What's Next?
  • Upgrade your key and access PHD Flopper.
  • Do the upgrade quest for the sliquifier and train in the red room for high rounds.
  • Do the upgrade quest for the electric bowie knife. (You need to have galvaknuckles to start an attempt for it.
  • Open up the rest of the map and explore, finding good locations for trample steam.
  • Do the easter egg and hunt for other secrets.

    Good luck and have fun!

Permaperks are outside the skill scope of this guide. Million ways to progress through the map. This is simply one that is easy to do, easy to remember, get's you at least one free perk and both buildables, along with a good weapon pack-a-punched
