CANZUK 2023

Description
A CANZUK military alliance would involve a formal defense and security partnership between Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. Here are some key aspects of what such an alliance might look like:
1. Military Cooperation

Joint Exercises: Regular combined military exercises to enhance interoperability among the armed forces.
Shared Intelligence: Strengthening intelligence-sharing mechanisms to enhance situational awareness and counter-terrorism efforts.
Common Procurement: Collaborating on defense procurement to standardize equipment and reduce costs, such as joint development of military technologies.

Military Power

Navy: 2x CV, 13x Amphibious, 22x Submarines, 8 Destroyers, 37 Frigates, 12 RAS, 11 Auxilary, 22 MCM, 37 OPV
Air Force: 360 Fighters, 9 AWACS, 16 EW, 39 MPA, 15 Surveillance/Recon, 26 Tankers, 53 Heavy Transports, 98 Medium/Light Transports, 16 SAR, 332 Training Planes, 66 Heavy Lift Helicopters, 133 Medium Lift Helicopters, 45 SAR Helicopters, 24 Recon Helicopters, 80 Armed Helicopters, 84 Training Helicopters, 60+ UAV.
Army: 133,000 regular force, 75,000 reserve force, 368 MBT, 5,900 APC/IFV/Recon/PMV, 17,000 Logistics, 235 Towed Artillery, 73 Self Propelled Artillery, 118 Multiple Rocket Launcher Systems.
2. Operational Focus

Collective Defense: A commitment to mutual defense, similar to NATO’s Article 5, where an attack on one member would be considered an attack on all.
Peacekeeping and Humanitarian Missions: Joint participation in international peacekeeping operations and humanitarian assistance missions, leveraging the experience of all four countries.
3. Regional Security

Focus on Indo-Pacific: Given the strategic interests of Australia and New Zealand, the alliance could focus on security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region, including countering influence from countries like China.
Collaboration with Other Alliances: Working alongside existing alliances like NATO and AUKUS to address global security challenges.
