The Steam installation is very straight forward. Many users will be used to finding their Steam purchases listed in their games library, however as AppGameKit is a software development tool, it will be found under Software.

To find it, hover over the Steam library, and under games you'll see software.


















Click software and you'll be taken to a screen similar to this:







Clicking launch will take you through to the main installation screen, you'll see that the recommended path for installation has been selected for you, but you can choose a new path simply by clicking the down arrow to the right of the suggested path.






















Once you are happy with the selected path, click next and after a few brief moments you'll be taken to the license agreement, you should read this and only click I agree if you do.






















You'll now be moved onto the full installation. The next step is to set up your preferred shortcuts, you can create a desktop icon and a shortcut from your start menu, simply tick the boxes for the options that suit you.






















Click Next when you are happy and after a few seconds of configuring files, your install will start. This will take a few minutes depending on your internet connection speed.






















You can click Manage Downloads to see the progress. You'll notice that to the right of the screen the word Downloading..


















On completion Downloading.. will change to Ready to Launch. Simply click the blue Launch button to the left and AppGameKit will open. Now that you've installed the application, you'll just need to click this button each time you want to launch AppGameKit.
