If you swim VERY SLOWLY you can avoid rousing it from its slumber, but it may just be safer to carry a Spear with you and handle it that way. Return to the green circle with your second Karma Flower in hand as we start the magic.

This is due to unpopped Bubble Fruit s being counted as Rock s by the game rather than Bubble Fruit s for crafting purposes.
