How to Fix the Issue of Opening Animation Not Playing Properly

The current version of the game has an issue where applying a patch prevents the opening animation from playing correctly. This post introduces two possible solutions.

It seems that the issue is caused by an encoding problem with an external video file. After applying the patch, the OP animation cannot play properly. You can try restoring the OP file from before the patch.

Steps:
1.Download the game
2.Apply the patch
3.Overwrite the OP file

A backup OP file is provided here:

Should be placed in:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\HENPRI\movie\edBFnOj7ui.dat

Note:
If the system does not ask whether to overwrite the file when moving it, it means you are placing it in the wrong location.

Solution 2

The game's official Discord provided another solution , indicating that they do not plan to fix this issue via an update.
Steps:
Download and install K-Lite Codec Pack (any version, but MEGA is recommended).
Download link [codecguide.com]

Open the "Codec tweak tool", then go to:
General -> Fixes -> Reset Media Foundation
Confirm and restart the game.
