Forcing the game to use your GPU instead of CPU
For NVIDIA GPUs
  • Open the NVIDIA Control Panel (right-click desktop).
  • Go to Manage 3D Settings → Program Settings.
  • Add the game’s .exe file and set the Preferred graphics processor to High-performance NVIDIA processor.
  • Click Apply.

For AMD GPUs
  • Open AMD Radeon Settings (right-click desktop).
  • Go to Gaming → Add Game → Select Borderlands GOTY.
  • Set the Graphics Profile to High Performance.

Windows Graphics Settings
  • Go to Settings → System → Display → Graphics Settings.
  • Browse and add the game’s .exe file.
  • Set to High performance and Save.
