Introduction
Not everything in Simmiland is explained well, certain information is ommited from the compendium that is very useful for both the game and it's achievements.

I found that the previous steam guides do not have all of the required information either; without digging through multiple discussion posts, guides and their comments, it was difficult to find all the correct information all in one place, so i am making this guide to put everything together for those that want to 100% Simmiland without the Hastle.

If you want to find a specific achievement, use CTRL + F and search directly.

If anything is incorrect or out of date please let me know, and if you have a problem with any of the achievements, comment below and I'll see if I can assist.
General guide and useful information
While this is primarily an achievement guide, there are some important things that keep your civilization alive that are useful to know for most of the later achievements.

I recommend starting by playing through and getting some of the easier achievements first and experimenting with how the game plays, during this time you will collect stars from said achievements and other actions that are used to buy more cards from the card shop for future runs, some of these are required to unlock certain achievements. Unlocking all card packs is highly recommended.

The achievements require multiple runs regardless.

Pay attention to the in-game compendium, this is useful for keeping track of everything you have discovered across all runs, not only does it help you plan your discoveries to increase IQ but it gives information on how to acquire most of the items, buildings and resources.

Markets
Starvation is one of the biggest killers of runs in Simmiland, getting a market as early as possible in every run will make the achievements so much easier. To get the market you must first discover currency, this is done by using a meteor card which spawns a gold ore deposit, use a sample card on this and then an inspect card on the gold ore.

Once you have 50 accumulated resources and a decent amount of IQ humanity should build a market.
NOTE: It is impossible to acquire a market once Sky towers have been built, I'm not sure exactly what resources are needed for Sky Towers, but I always avoided discovering smelting for metal and glass before a market was built and that seemed to work.

Markets are also required for getting factories which produce cars, cars make humans significantly faster at picking up items and basically make end-game trivial.

Churches
Churches can be a run killer if you are not prepared, churches are built when your faith gets too high, usually once over 1000. If one is built it will cap your humans IQ, which doesn't allow you to continue making discoveries. The only way to destroy a church is with a meteor, of which you only get 2 of if you have all cards unlocked, try to hold onto a meteor card just in case a church is built.

You can sell cards for faith by clicking the dollar sign on the top right of the card, this is useful for if you run out of faith points early on or if you have a lot of useless cards, be careful not to sell too many as to not spawn a church.

When doing discoveries on items you do not need to do it from the item on the ground, you can do it from the base info screen which shows all your stored resources.
gatherers
A berry bush is created from playing a plant card on a forest biome.

A forest biome is created when 2 or more tree cards are placed near each other.
keep 'em dumb
Really easy achievement.

Humans gain IQ when you use the inspect card to make discoveries.

All you need to do is make sure they have enough food to survive while not making many discoveries. If you are impatient I assume you can sell all your cards except human ones and then play them all at once to reach 6+ pop.
vacation retreat
You will likely get this naturally, but you can easily get this by using tree cards on grassland nearby your humans' buildings.
medication
Use an inspect card on a herb.

Swamp biomes are created when using the rain card on grassland.

Herbs have a 50% chance to spawn when using a plant card on a swamp biome.
for the love of god
Humans will create a church when you have a high amount of faith as long as their nature is peaceful.

Just make sure to keep granting their wishes to gain faith.
farmers
Use an inspect card on poop to discover farming and use a critter card on grassland to spawn a chicken then inspect it to discover animal pens.

Continue making new discoveries to increase IQ and your humans will build a farmhouse.
mount oops
Use a quake card to create a mountain biome, then use another quake card on the mountain biome to create a volcano.
megapolis
This will come naturally as you play and/or go for the later achievements, making sure mankind has food is key.
earth's riches
An oil reservoir is created by playing a quake card on a desert biome.

A desert biome is created by playing a sun card on grasslands or wastelands.
town
The town center will be built naturally when humanity has a decent amount of IQ, just keep progressing and making discoveries.

Avoid letting your faith get too high as this causes humans to build a church which will cap your IQ, churches can only be destroyed with meteors.
meal prepping
Use an inspect card on a burnt tree to discover the oven, and use an inspect card on the water item to discover the cooking pot.

You can burn a tree with thunder and humans will collect water from areas where you have used the rain card.
tastes like chicken
Use a sample card on a dead human to get their meat.

The death cannot be with a kill card nor thunder card, they will have to die by naturally by a tundra/snowfields biome, this way they leave behind their frozen corpse.
hot stuff
With high enough IQ you can use an inspect card on lava to discover the smelting furnace.

2 rocks and 2 sand are needed to build a smelting furnace.
zzzap
Use a thunder card directly on a human.
city
Sky towers are built naturally when IQ is high enough, just keep progressing and making discoveries.
ice age
This achievement requires you to both invent clothing and build an igloo.

You can only get this achievement in the early game when housing is just huts.

Spawn a sheep by using a critter card on a forest biome (watch out for and kill bears that spawn), kill the sheep and inspect it's wool, with enough IQ, humans will build a spinning wheel to create clothing.

Use rain nearby your settlement to create tundra/snowfields biomes, then use the mineral card on these biomes to spawn ice. Use a sample card on ice and wait for your humans to collect it, with enough ice they will build an igloo.
haute cuisine
The easiest way to get all food items is to get a market as early as possible, markets spawn random items every 10 seconds, including foods exclusive to it.

To get the market you must first discover currency, this is done by using a meteor card which spawns a gold ore deposit, use a sample card on this and then an inspect card on the gold ore. Once you have 50 accumulated resources and a decent amount of IQ humanity should build a market. You cannot get a market once Sky Towers are built.

You can see all discovered and undiscovered food on the 5th tab of the compendium, use this to see what you are missing.

All foods:
Wheat grain is gathered from a wheat plant.
Berry is gathered from a berry bush.
Poison berry is gathered from a toxic berry bush.
Apple is dropped from an apple tree.
Coconut is dropped from a palm tree.
Banana is dropped from palm and jungle trees.
Cactus flesh is gathered from cacti.
Bread is created in an oven from 1 flour.
Banana bread is created in an oven from 1 flour and 1 banana.
Berry pie is created in an oven from 1 flour and 1 berry.
Apple pie is created in an oven from 1 flour and 1 apple.
Seaweed can be gathered by using a card plant in the ocean.
Drumstick is created in the cooking pot from 1 raw drumstick.
Fried egg is created in the cooking pot from 1 egg.
Steak is created in the cooking pot from 1 raw meat.
Cooked Fish is created in the cooking pot from 1 fish.
Sushi is created from rice (only acquired from markets), seaweed and fish.
the colonies
Start a new run and restart until you get a map with at least 3 different islands, play normally as described in the guide section and humans will eventually expand to all 3 islands.
crowd control
I believe this is done by killing a good portion of humanity but not everyone, you can do this with thunder but it's easier with a meteor.

I recommend starting a new run until you find one with a small island off to the side, spawn humanity on the small island and give them food like berry bushes and apple trees. Use any cards on the island that keep them alive but do not discover boats that let them leave the island.

Sell the rest of your cards apart from meteors and humans, by the time you run out of cards you should have a good few humans on your island (for me it was 6), Use 1 human card on a separate island and the rest you can spawn with the others on the small island, then use the meteor to kill all the humans on the small island, leaving the other 1 to survive. This should grant you the achievement.
unnatural selection
To beat the plague you must have enough resources and discoveries to create a vaccine.

Make sure to save the plague card once it shows up in your deck.

You must first discover medication by using an inspect card on a herb, then discover adv. meds by playing an inspect card on a piece of coral after humanity has a decent amount of IQ.

Create a jungle biome by using a thunder card on a swamp biome. Use a critter card on a jungle tile to spawn a snake, either kill it with a kill card or wait for humans to kill it, once harvested you should get 1 venom.

You need 1 coral, 1 herb and 1 venom in your storage to create the vaccine, check to make sure you have these and then use the plague card and you should instantly unlock the achievement.
industrial revolution
To get this achievement you must produce a good amount of the required materials while having built a factory.

Play through a run following the "general guide" section of this guide, continually discovering new things while keeping humanity fed and preventing a church being built.

Make sure to save as many thunder cards as possible as they are needed later on in the run.

One of the main points in the general guide section is to get the market as early as possible, this is extra important for this achievement as the market is required in order to create a factory.

With a lightning rod discovered and built (by striking a human with thunder) you can strike it to create batteries. I usually wait for these to be picked up and put into storage before striking again for more batteries.

With enough sand from sandstone to create glass, oil drums produced by refineries and batteries from striking the lightning rod you should trigger the industrial revolution achievement.

I recommend continuing this run until cars are created for the metropolis achievement
nerds
You will get 200 IQ naturally as long as you keep making discoveries.

Check the discovery list to see what you are missing and make sure to not let your faith get to high as to let churches be built, as churches cap your IQ.
creator of many things
You should get this naturally if you are going for the rest of the achievements, leave this for last and check the resources page of the compendium to see what you're missing.
rocket science
For this achievement you must end the game by having your humans leave in a rocket.

Play through a run following the "general guide" section of this guide, continually discovering new things while keeping humanity fed and preventing a church being built.

Once a smelting furnace has been discovered humans will start creating metal and Once a refinery has been discovered and built it will start producing oil drums.

With a lightning rod discovered and built (by striking a human with thunder) you can strike it to create batteries, another guide says these are required but I cannot confirm, it's not difficult to do so I included it.

With most discoveries unlocked, a high amount of IQ and 4 oil drums and 4 metal in storage, humans should be able to build the rocket, once you see that a rocket has been fully built you want to use the rest of your cards until you see a "THE END" card, playing this will end the game and grant you this achievement.
metropolis

Play through a run following the "general guide" section of this guide, continually discovering new things while keeping humanity fed and preventing a church being built.

Make sure to save as many thunder cards as possible as they are needed later on in the run.

One of the main points in the general guide section is to get the market as early as possible, this is extra important for this achievement as the market is required in order to create a factory which is needed to create cars.

With a lightning rod discovered and built (by striking a human with thunder) you can strike it to create batteries. I usually wait for these to be picked up and put into storage before striking again for more batteries, If i recall correctly I had 7 batteries when I first created a car, but the game says you only need 1 of each of metal/oil drum/battery for a car to be created.

With a good amount of discoveries unlocked, a high amount of IQ, a good production of metals, oil and batteries, and modern homes being built you should get this achievement.
back to the future
For this achievement you must end the game by having your humans leave through the spacetime portal.

NOTE: Humans must be kept peaceful by providing them their wishes throughout the run or they cannot interact with aliens to build the spacetime portal.

Make sure to save as many thunder cards as possible as they are needed later on in the run.

Play through a run following the "general guide" section of this guide, continually discovering new things while keeping humanity fed and preventing a church being built.

Once you have gotten toward the mid-endgame and have discovered glass you want to inspect it to discover the telescope, which can then be built with glass and metal.

Once it has been built you will start getting visited an alien UFO, this is where the thunder cards you saved come in. You need to strike the UFO out of the sky by aiming below where it is flying, roughly where it's shadow is.

Once aliens crash they will start dropping plutonium on the ground.

You essentially want to unlock almost every discovery in this run apart from ones exclusive to being evil like guns and laws, you need all these discoveries to have the immense amount of IQ needed to research spacetime for the spacetime portal.

Once you have a high enough IQ you can use an inspect card on plutonium to research spacetime.

After 5 plutonium has been collected humans are able to build the space time portal, once built you want to use the rest of your cards until you see a "THE END" card, playing this will end the game and grant you this achievement.
the good life
It is best to go for this achievement at the end of a regular run as by that point you will have a lot of produced food.

Play through a run following the "general guide" section of this guide, continually discovering new things while keeping humanity fed and preventing a church being built.

Save some critter and plant cards for later.

One of the main points in the general guide section is to get the market as early as possible, this is important for this achievement as the market is required for the food we are going to be using to reach 50% processed.

The food we are going to use is Sushi, Sushi is created from rice, seaweed and fish.

By placing a plant card in the ocean (creating seaweed) and placing a critter card directly adjacent to it in the ocean, it creates a replenishable source of fish for humans to collect, repeating this and stacking up on fish and seaweed will allow humans to constantly create sushi.

Simply leave this game running without ending the game and processed food will eventually overtake natural food.
I hope this guide helped you

one major tip with churches, you do not need a meteor, simply change the biome under the church and it will demolish it, you can use rain, sun, wind anything to change the biome
