Theology [ENG/FR]
By CommandantCraky®
This guide is not here to harm any religions. It is simply an essay about what I believe is hiding behind what we call "God". It contains multiple chapters, possible to read in disorder.

Why were Gods "imagined" ?
Gods have always been thought about by creatures who had gained enough consciousness to analyze their surrounding, their purpose. Many, if not all indigenous tribes have also thought of the existence of a God. Whether that be many gods with their different artistic representations like Romanian gods, or simply believing in the sun as our ultimate God like Aztecs. In the end at the second we had enough consciousness to build a safe environment, sustainable sources of nutrition and we started to get bored, the idea of "how did this world came up in the first place" came through our mind.
It was also a way for us to punish crimes. Implying that if you caused someone else to be suffering, god would punish you after your death for your crimes. But of course, this would make no human being able to reach the promised "heaven", and this is why the pardon has been implemented. Allowing for any believer to be washed of his sins if he confessed and asked for forgiveness. Not only were gods a way to apply justice, they were also a way to explain the unexplainable. Such a rare or "paranormal" phenomena, which could not be explained back then, due to a lack of knowledge. Therefore, anything written in the sacred texts were usually just rare phenomena, amplified by the writings of believers and spread worldwide amongst them. Religions were simply created to manipulated positively the population and make sure they do not cause a panic and the end of the world due to the lack of knowledge available yet. A social tool.
Is it bad to think that gods exists up there ?
No, it is not. Gods are a way for some to act properly. To not deviate from the good behavior the society wants them to have. People are free to believe in whatever they want, as long as they do not attempt to influence or mock others for what they believe in either. As an atheist, I get mocked a lot for not believing that a spiritual and beyond comprehension entity is living above us. Watching our every moves. But I am usually not attempting to throw a debate because most of their arguments are purely biased by their faith. Subconsequently, If it was to be proven that no gods exists up there, it would be chaos. People raping, murdering and abusing others for the sake of their dopamine level. Religions are what humanized us, what made us think about what is moral and what is not. Religions seperated us from the animals we originally were.
If it is this obvious that no gods are existing, why do people keep believing in it ?
Religions have existed for thousands of years, thus it is normal for someone that is born in a religious environment to not be able to separate from it.

What would you do if you learned that what you've believed in was just blatant lies here to manipulate you ? You would be denial and keep believing, because lying to yourself is better than accepting the harsh reality. The reason why people are so manipulated by religion is of course because of their texts.
Take Christianism as an example :
-"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." (3.36)

Clearly implying that If you do not believe in God, you are corrupted and thus will end in hell. This religion is claiming that god is fair and knows the weight of justice. Yet, he punishes those who do not follow like blindfolded sheep, even if they are good human beings. There are apparently exceptions for great human beings, but saying that they are "exceptions" encourages us to believe in a religion, not because we have faith, but beacause of the fear of God himself. This is the same for Islam. On the other hand, he gives forgiveness to those who have abused, murdered and stolen simply if they believe in god. In other terms, god rewards people for believing texts, and punishes those who thinks. “God loves you” but if you decide not to respect one of his many rules he established without even letting you know, he will send you to a world full of pain and let you burn for eternity.
The example of Islam [ENG]
The Islam religion is filled with nonsense in many of its surahs. Here are a couple of examples :

-"You who believe, intoxicants and gambling, idolatrous practices, and [divining with] arrows are repugnant acts- Satan’s doing- shun them so that you may prosper." (5:90)

Is totally contradictory with the following verset

-"A similitude of the Garden which those who keep their duty (to Allah) are promised: Therein are rivers of water unpolluted, and rivers of milk whereof the flavour changeth not, and rivers of wine delicious to the drinkers, and rivers of clear-run honey; therein for them is every kind of fruit, with pardon from their Lord. [...]" (47:15)

Here, it is said explicitly that drinking alcohol is related to Satan. But that you will have rivers of wine in heaven.

The next one is about the changes in the Quran :

-"For them are glad tidings in this world and in the Hereafter. The words of Allah shall not change. That is the supreme triumph." (10:64)

Which is contradictory with the following verset

-"Any revelation We cause to be superseded or forgotten, We replace with something better or similar. Do you [Prophet] not know that God has power over everything?" (2:106)

So the words of اَلله are changed and remixed by humans. Meaning that the Surah 10 verset 64 is not respected.

-"There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing." (2:256)

Completely and utterly different from the second one

"Those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day – even though they were given the scriptures, and who do not hold as unlawful that which Allah and His Messenger have declared to be unlawful, and who do not follow the true religion – fight against them until they pay tribute out of their hand and are utterly subdued." (9:29)

Here, the mention of fight is explicit and every of its translation. It is undeniable that murder or at least forcing people is allowed if it is for the glory of Allah, emphasized by this other verset

"And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah) and (all and every kind of) worship is for Allah (Alone). But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)" (2:193)

The conclusion and questions (English Version)

Because it was written in a religious text, we have to believe it because it must be true. However, if we happen to doubt of a verse, and our suspicion turns out to be true, then we may end up doubting the entire book.
There are evidence in all religious texts that serves as a reinforcement for the truth of their claims.
But if some of these religious claims turn out to be false or contradicting each other, then what should we believe in ? (Similar to astrology in a way).
Should we be good little Muslims and believe everything that was written thousands of years ago, or should I stick to my way of thinking, totally rational ? Humans love stories; that's how they communicate and learn, through the experiences of their peers. It's very easy to spread misinformation on the Internet or to gossip on someone in real life, bring hate towards that person. Religion is the perfect example. It is the very definition of ‘spreading the word’. All it takes is one lie to believe it, and as long as there are people to perpetuate it, religion will survive.

Religions are like politics.
What if politics were simply a continuation of religion?
-> Great texts with great promises for its followers if their words are heeded,
Alongside lies that are debunked and logical truths that remain established.
Beliefs are a way to control the population, that is undeniable, and they were written by several people and not just reiterations of the words of the prophet Muhammad. Thus, these inconsistencies become apparent, and we manage to camouflage them by saying that these inconsistencies are due to a language barrier or a misunderstanding of the ancient arabic language, so are we really allowed to interpret what we do not understand ?

It's exactly as if you told deaf children to go outside and play, but your sign language abilities are so limited that you mime to them to go and read a book. What you just told them differs from what they interpreted. Do you put them in the same place as the same ignorant people who simply don't try to understand what you're miming ?
And in that case, do they deserve punishment?
And if the ignorant ones did what you were asking the deaf children to do, without having been told to do it because they didn't listen to you, but simply did it of their own free will. Would you punish them for doing it without listening to you?
Would Allah punish someone like me who knows full well that he has done nothing wrong and does not mean any of his darker jokes ?
Would he decide to punish me in favour of those who misunderstood him ?
Yet religion says that all those who have the opportunity to believe in Allah but decide not to will be punished.
So is he really fair ?
Can you punish someone who has done the work you asked them to do, but in a different way than the one you wanted ?
Religion offers us this opportunity to hold on to in order to think we are safe from hell.
We are told that God created us and loves us all equally, but that if we do not believe in him, we will end up like those who have killed, raped or stolen.
Is this a way to reassure or scare the population ?
Is Allah a reassuring presence or a divine judge whose rules cannot be defied ?

If Allah is unfair, then we are obeying a tyrant and will still end up in hell someday.
If Allah is fair, then the sacred texts are lies.

The example of Islam [FR]
